Description

CERAMIC SANITARY WARE SYSTEM HAVING A FLUSHING SYSTEM WITH SPRAY APPARATUS
Subject of the Invention
The invention relates to a ceramic sanitary ware system with the feature of self-cleaning with water and/or detergent and/or disinfectant following the use.
State of the Art
The ceramic sanitary ware are commonly used in many spaces, particularly the bathrooms, toilet rooms and kitchens. It is necessary to clean the ceramic sanitary ware after their use. Following the use of the ceramic sanitary ware like toilet and squatting toilet, various flushing systems are employed in order to both remove the wastes from within the ceramic sanitary ware and clean the bowl surfaces. Most of the time, the water is collected in a flush tank or similar reservoir and the flushing is achieved by way of discharge of said water into the bowl. Even though flushing with water provides partial cleaning, it is necessary to clean said ceramic sanitary ware also using various cleaning chemicals at certain intervals.
Although the ceramic sanitary ware like toilet and squatting toilet are flushed with various flushing systems, the ceramic sanitary ware like washbasins do not have a similar flushing system. Although said flushing process does not appear mandatory in the washbasins since they involve no solid or liquid waste accumulation due to their intended purpose, the dirt could still accumulate on the surfaces of the washbasins. The cleaning is performed at certain intervals by the use of a brush and similar cleaning means and the cleaning chemicals for the purpose of removing the visible dirt. Said cleaning is performed by the user of the washbasin or by a janitor in the public spaces. The effectiveness of cleaning varies according to the staff involved and the cleaning period. The requirement for a staff member for such cleaning as well as the hygiene problems likely to result from failure to use the cleaning chemical at appropriate intervals and in appropriate quantities constitute an undesirable situation. Besides the visible dirt, the invisible bacteria and viruses may also be present on the surfaces. Failure to use the cleaning chemicals correctly causes insufficiency of the efforts aimed at getting rid of said detrimental presence, whereas the excessive use of the cleaning chemicals harms the environment.
Owing to the ceramic sanitary ware system with the self-cleaning feature according to the invention, the need for labor force for the cleaning of the ceramic sanitary ware is eliminated, the flushing is enabled to be performed automatically and without delay at desired intervals, an effective cleaning is ensured by the use of the correct quantity of the correct chemical in the correct manner and the damage to the environment caused by the unnecessary use of chemicals is eliminated. of the Invention

Accordingly, the chemical stored in the chemical reservoir (4) is conveyed to the spray apparatus (2) with the help of at least one pump (5). Said pump (5) is pump (5) with power enabling the chemical to be conveyed to the spray apparatus (2) at desired pressure, i.e. in a pressurized manner. The connection between the chemical reservoir (4) and the pump (5) and/or between the pump (5) and the spray apparatus (2) and/or between the chemical reservoir (4) and the spray apparatus (2) is/are provided by means of at least one fluid carrier (3).
The water to be used for flushing is conveyed via at least one fluid carrier (3) from the plumbing to the spray apparatus (2). Since the plumbing has sufficient pressure for conveying the water, a component similar to the pump (5) used for conveying the chemical is not needed for conveying water to be used for flushing and preferably a solenoid valve (6) permitting or blocking the water flow is used.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, an injector is present on the water spray end (21) and/or the chemical spray end (24) and enables the water and/or the chemical to be sprayed.
A preferred embodiment of the invention comprises at least one check valve on the water spray end (21) and/or the chemical spray end (24). Owing to said check valves, the flow of water and/or chemical does not occur from the water spray end (21) and/or the chemical spray end (24) until the pressure inside said water spray end (21) and/or chemical spray end (24) reaches a predefined pressure and the flow of water and/or chemical occurs only after the pressure has reached the desired level. By this means, the water and/or chemical remaining inside the spray apparatus (2) is/are prevented from dripping into the bowl (12).
A preferred embodiment of the invention comprises at least one trigger enabling to initiate the flushing system. Said trigger may be a sensor and/or a button. In the embodiment where the trigger is a sensor, the system may be triggered in a non-contact manner. Said sensor may be a sensor detecting the proximity and/or movement, preferably an optical sensor. Depending on the preferences and the needs, said sensor may be a sensor detecting the presence and the distancing of a user and automatically triggering the flushing system after the user has moved away, and said sensor may also be a sensor detecting the proximity and/or contact and detecting the user's hand. Likewise, the trigger could be a button activating the flushing system upon the user applying a physical force. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the flushing system may be controlled remotely, via at least one smart device.
A preferred embodiment of the invention comprises at least one control unit where the control of the pump (5) and/or the triggers and/or the solenoid valve (6), in other words, the control of the system, is enabled. Said control unit enables the pump (5) and/or the solenoid valve (6) to come to the active and/or passive state in line with the data received from the triggers. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, following the triggering of the system via at least one trigger, the pump (5) is switched into the active state to enable a predefined quantity of chemical to be transferred from the chemical reservoir (4) into the bowl (12), then the pump (5) is deactivated and a predefined time is allowed to elapse, and then the solenoid valve (6) is activated to transfer water into the bowl (12) and to thus achieve the rinsing of said bowl (12). In this way, it is ensured that the chemical is circulated through the surface of the bowl (12) for a certain time before rinsing, thereby achieving a more effective cleaning.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the spray apparatus (2) is manufactured via plastic injection.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said ceramic sanitary ware (1) is a washbasin.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said chemical may be a detergent, a disinfectant or a similar fluid with the cleaning ability.
