Abstract

A sink comprising pipes (2) along the sides of the sink inside or on top of the ceramics, the pipes being for sink inner surface disinfection. Disinfection can be activated by pushing a button (3) on the sink or by hand movement on top of this button (3). After activation, the system takes water from the hot water supply pipe (7). The water passes through a tank containing disinfectant (5) and a tank containing air freshener (4) and then is supplied to the pipe (2) for being sprayed upon the surface of the sink with pressure generated by a pump (5).

Description

Isink - Innovative Sink Surface Disinfection

This sink in everything is just normal sink, except for one thing. We have added to normal sink the function of disinfection. Next to the tap there is located little button. When pushed or by hand movement on top of the sensor the function of disinfection starts working.

On the whole length of the sink we have made pipes, which spray the disinfection fluid onto sink. This liquid comes from the little device, which is directly connected to hot water pipe, we have additional device which consists of air freshener, so that after disinfection of the sink there would be a good fragrance.

Along the sides of the ceramics of the sink we have placed pipe (2) in the ceramics or on top of the ceramics. Disinfection system with its pump (5) is supplied with the water from hot water supply (7), where we have the distributor (6), which on one side distributes water to tap (1) and on the second side to the system (5).

disinfection system is activated thanks to a push on a button (3) or by moving your hand on top of the sensor (3). After activation of the pump (5) it is taking water from the hot water pipe (7), goes through the disinfection liquid tank (5), after this goes through the air freshener (4) and thanks to pipe (2) makes a disinfection with pressure.

The whole system is working on electricity and requires from 1.5 to 12V.

Isink consists of:

1. Jap;

2. Disinfection liquid supply pipe;

3. Disinfection system activator;

4. Air freshener;

5. Disinfection liquid tank and pump;

6. Hot water distribution;

7. Hot water supply pipe;

8. Hot water supply to tap;

9. Drain hole;

10. Water flow direction;

11. Metallic cover for the pipe.

Our sink is different from the existing US 6,453,488 Bl, that it is washed using hot water, disinfection liquid, air freshener and these liquids are supplied with some pressure, which is provided thanks to a pump, which makes sink more hygienic.

Claims

This sink among the other sinks is different with the pipe along the side of the ceramics which with the push of button or by the hand movement near the sensor disinfects and washes the inner part of the sink. The pipe is put inside the ceramics of the sink or on top of the ceramics.
