Definitions

  • TITLE WATERPROOF LID FOR CONTAINER, AND CONTAINER COMPRISING A CONTAINER AND A WATERPROOF LID
  • the present invention relates to the technical field of containers comprising a container and a lid.
  • the present invention relates more particularly to a sealed lid intended to be used with a container.
  • the present invention relates in particular, but not exclusively, to reusable containers designed to receive food preparations, such as for example yoghurts.
  • Documents WO2011/144869 and WO2011/144870 disclose a container whose side wall has an outer bead in its upper part. This outer bead forms an extra thickness having a lower annular rim provided for suspending the container in an opening of appropriate section. This outer bead has a slight slope, the container having an outer perimeter decreasing towards the base of the outer bead. This outer bead serves as a support wall for a lower peripheral collar of a cover configured to close the upper opening of the container. Such a container can be made of glass.
  • a disadvantage of the aforementioned embodiment lies in the dimensional tolerances of the container which thwarts obtaining a satisfactory seal when the container is sealed with the aforementioned lid.
  • Document CN 204184715 U discloses a container comprising a lid hingedly mounted on a container with a hinge device comprising an upper element enclosing the lid and a lower element enclosing the container.
  • the lower element and the upper element are mounted in grooves and are hinged relative to each other.
  • a removable retaining device connecting the upper element to the lower element is arranged opposite the articulation.
  • a drawback of the aforementioned embodiment resides in the manipulations necessary to close the lid on the container.
  • the lid retainer has several moving parts which must be handled precisely to ensure tight closure of the lid.
  • Another drawback of the aforementioned embodiment resides in the manipulations necessary to separate the lid and the container. It is in fact necessary to disassemble the hinge device in order to be able to dissociate the lid from the container.
  • An object of the present invention is to provide a leak-proof lid intended for use with a container having a lower annular rim, which is easier to remove and put in place.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a container comprising a tight lid and a receptacle having a lower annular rim, in which the tight lid is easier to remove and put in place.
  • a leaktight lid configured to be used with a container comprising an upper edge and a side wall having a lower annular rim
  • the leaktight lid comprising a closure piece carrying an annular support element configured to bear annular manner on the upper edge, and a hooking member connected to the closure piece by a first elastic hinge
  • the sealed lid comprises a ring configured to be mounted around the container to come to rest under the annular rim lower, and that the hooking member is configured to come into engagement with the ring so that the annular support element seals with the upper edge when the ring bears under the lower annular rim and that the attachment member is in engagement with the ring.
  • first elastic hinges can be provided between the attachment member and the closure part.
  • the first elastic hinge, the hooking member and at least a part of the closure part can belong to a body made of plastic material.
  • the body can in particular be made of injected plastic material.
  • the body can be made of transparent or translucent material.
  • the closure piece may include an insert. The body can then be molded onto the closure part.
  • the annular support element may be formed by an annular seal configured to bear against the upper edge when the ring bears under the lower annular rim and the attachment member is in engagement with the ring.
  • the annular support element may in particular come from the body, and for example be formed by an annular lip engaged inside or outside the upper edge of the container.
  • the body may have a peripheral lower annular rib, the annular seal being mounted under the body inside the peripheral lower annular rib.
  • the body may have an inner lower annular rib, the annular seal being mounted under the body between the peripheral lower annular rib and the inner lower annular rib.
  • the annular gasket can in particular be molded onto the body.
  • the hooking member may have a hook configured to engage a lower edge of the ring when the hooking member is engaged with the ring.
  • the hook can then be engaged in a lower housing of the ring adjacent to the lower edge when the attachment member is in engagement with the ring. This arrangement makes it possible to reinforce the ring.
  • the attachment member can then have a second hook configured to come into engagement with a lower rib of the body when the attachment member is engaged with the ring. This arrangement makes it possible to improve the tightness of the container formed by the tight lid closing the container.
  • the sealed cover may include a second elastic hinge connecting the closure part to the ring.
  • the second elastic hinge and the ring can belong to the body.
  • the first elastic hinge can be arranged opposite the second elastic hinge with respect to the closure part.
  • the ring can have four sides, the second elastic hinge being connected to a first side.
  • the attachment member can then be configured to come into engagement with a second side opposite the first side.
  • the second elastic hinge may comprise a first elastic part connected to a second elastic part by an intermediate part which is more rigid than the first elastic part and than the second elastic part.
  • the sealed cover may comprise another attachment member connected to the closure piece by another first elastic hinge, the closure piece being arranged between the attachment member and the other hooking member, the other hooking member being configured to come into engagement with the ring, so that the annular support element provides a seal with the upper edge when the ring bears under the annular rim lower and that the other attachment member is engaged with the ring.
  • the other first elastic hinge and the other hooking member can belong to the body.
  • the tight cover can include a second elastic hinge connecting the obturation part to the ring.
  • the ring can be independent of the closure piece.
  • the ring can be independent of the body.
  • the annular joint can be configured to bear against the upper edge when the ring bears under the lower annular rim and the hooking member and the other hooking member are in engagement with the ring.
  • the other attachment member may have a construction similar to that of the attachment member.
  • the other attachment member may have another hook configured to come into engagement with the lower edge of the ring when the other attachment member is in engagement with the ring.
  • the other hook can be engaged in another lower housing of the ring adjacent to the lower edge when the other hooking member is in engagement with the ring.
  • the other attachment member may have another second hook configured to come into engagement with another lower rib of the body when the other attachment member is in engagement with the ring.
  • a container comprising a container and a tight lid, in which the container comprises an upper edge and a side wall having a lower annular rim, because the tight lid conforms to at least one of the characteristics aforementioned.
