などというように定め、さらにスピーカーシステムが2つのスピーカーを備える場合は、各スピーカーの角度範囲を、
フロントレフトスピーカーについて-5度以上-90度以下(初期値は-30度)、
フロントライトスピーカーについて5度以上90度以下(初期値は+30度)、
というように定めておく。

が、予め定めた限界角度θlimitを下回るとき、または所定の時計回り追い越し条件を満足するとき(θ,α>0かつθ≧αであるとき、あるいは0>α>-ΔθかつΔθ>θ≧0のとき)には、ユーザの操作に関わらず、選択されたスピーカーアイコンの位置を更新しない。

が、予め定めた限界角度θlimitを下回らず、かつ上記所定の時計回り追い越し条件を満足しないときには、ユーザの操作に従い、現在の角度θに所定の角度Δθを加算して、選択されたスピーカーアイコンの位置θをθ←θ+Δθとして更新する。なお、上記所定の限界角度θlimitは、予め、例えば5度などとして設定しておく。
上記操作が行われたとき、設定案内部31は、当該選択されたスピーカーアイコンに対して反時計回り方向に隣接するスピーカーアイコンの上記基準方向からの角度βを取得する。そして設定案内部31は、この取得した角度βと、選択されたスピーカーのアイコンの位置を表す角度θとの差

を求める。設定案内部31は、この差dが予め定めた限界角度θlimitを下回るとき、または反時計回りでの所定の追い越し条件を満足するとき(θ,β>0かつθ≦βであるとき、あるいは、0>θ>-ΔθかつΔθ>β≧0のとき)には、ユーザの操作に関わらず、選択されたスピーカーアイコンの位置を更新しない。

が、予め定めた限界角度θlimitを下回らず、かつ上記所定の反時計回り追い越し条件を満足しないときには、ユーザの操作に従い、現在の角度θから所定の角度Δθを減算して、選択されたスピーカーのアイコンの位置θをθ←θ-Δθとして更新する。なお、このとき、θ<-180となるときには、設定案内部31は、θ←θ+360度としてさらにθの値を更新する。
なお、情報処理装置1が可搬なものである場合など、情報処理装置1に接続される映像表示装置2やスピーカーシステム3が変化する場合もあり得る。このような場合に、設定を一々行うのではなく、ユーザからスピーカーの位置の設定が行われたときに、映像表示装置2またはスピーカーシステム3を識別する情報に関連付けて、音声出力設定情報を記録することとしてもよい。
また設定案内部31は、ユーザが音声出力設定を行う旨の操作を行い、音声出力設定画面を表示する際に、記憶部12に音声出力設定情報が記録されているか否かを調べる。ここで、記憶部12に音声出力設定情報が記録されていたときには、設定案内部31は、当該記憶されていた音声出力設定情報を読み出して、音声出力設定画面に表示する各スピーカーの初期の位置を、当該読み出した音声出力設定情報で設定されている、対応するスピーカーの位置とする。
本実施の形態の情報処理装置1は、基本的に以上の構成を備えており、次の例のように動作する。なお、以下の例では、情報処理装置1のユーザは、リビングと寝室との間で情報処理装置1を持ち運んで、それぞれの場所で利用するものとする。ここで、リビングには、7.1chのスピーカーシステム(7つのスピーカーを含む)3a及び、映像表示装置2aとしての家庭用テレビ装置が配されているものとする。また寝室には、2chのスピーカーシステム(2つのスピーカーを含む)3b及び、映像表示装置2bとしてのモニタが配されているものとする。
フロントレフトスピーカーが-30度、
フロントライトスピーカーが+30度、
サラウンドレフトスピーカーが(上記のように移動されているので-110度)、
サラウンドライトスピーカーが+90度、
サラウンドバックレフトスピーカーが-120度、
サラウンドバックライトスピーカーが+120度、
センタースピーカーが0度
との音声出力設定情報が記録される。
フロントレフトスピーカーが-25度、
フロントライトスピーカーが+35度、
との音声出力設定情報が記録される。この音声出力設定情報は、映像表示装置2aのEDIDに関連付けられた音声出力設定情報とは別に記憶部12に格納される。
さらに本実施の形態の情報処理装置1は、ネットワークを介して、ユーザが使用するスマートフォンや、PC、他の情報処理装置1等(以下、まとめて端末装置とする。すなわちここではアプリケーションプログラムを実行する側を情報処理装置1とし、アプリケーションプログラムによって生成された音声信号や画像情報を受信して、ユーザに出力する側の装置を端末装置とする)から制御されてもよい。この例では、情報処理装置1は、端末装置側に接続された映像表示装置の情報(画面のサイズや比率など)の情報を得て、端末装置側の映像表示装置の情報に基づいて画面をレンダリングした情報(画面情報)を生成して端末装置側へ送出する。
また、端末装置が、本実施の形態の情報処理装置1の設定案内部31と、音声出力設定情報記録部32と、設定管理部33と、音声出力設定情報提示部34としての動作を行うよう構成されている場合は次のように処理が行われてもよい。この例では、端末装置は、ユーザからの指示により、端末装置に接続されているスピーカーシステム3が備える各スピーカーの位置を表す音声出力設定情報を生成して保持しておく。
このように、本実施の形態によると、ユーザのスピーカーの配置位置の情報を取得し、提供できる。
Claims (10)
- 音声信号を処理し、複数のスピーカーを備えるスピーカーシステムに接続される情報処理装置であって、
ユーザの向きに対する、前記スピーカーシステムが備える各スピーカーの方向を表す音声出力設定情報の入力を受け入れる受入手段と、
前記受け入れた音声出力設定情報を記録する記録手段と、
を含み、
前記記録された音声出力設定情報を、要求に応じて出力し、音声信号の処理に供する情報処理装置。 - 請求項1に記載の情報処理装置であって、
映像表示装置に接続され、
前記受入手段は、ユーザの位置から映像表示装置の位置への方向を基準方向として、ユーザの位置を中心とした当該基準方向からの角度に関する情報を、前記スピーカーシステムが備える各スピーカーの方向を表す音声出力設定情報として受け入れる情報処理装置。 - 請求項2に記載の情報処理装置であって、
前記受入手段は、前記スピーカーシステムが備えるスピーカーの数に関連付けて、各スピーカーごとに予め定められた角度の範囲の、前記基準方向からの角度に関する情報を、前記スピーカーシステムが備える各スピーカーの方向を表す音声出力設定情報として受け入れる情報処理装置。 - 請求項2または3に記載の情報処理装置であって、
前記受入手段は、前記基準方向からの角度に関する情報を受け入れる際に、対象となったスピーカーに隣接するスピーカーの前記基準方向からの角度との差に基づいて規制された角度の範囲で、対象となったスピーカーについての、前記基準方向からの角度に関する情報を受け入れる情報処理装置。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の情報処理装置であって、
映像表示装置に接続され、
前記記録手段は、前記映像表示装置または前記スピーカーシステムを識別する情報に関連付けて、前記受入手段が受け入れた音声出力設定情報を記録する情報処理装置。 - 請求項5に記載の情報処理装置であって、
音声出力設定情報の要求を受け入れる要求受入手段をさらに有し、
当該要求受入手段は、前記要求を受け入れたときに接続されている前記映像表示装置または前記スピーカーシステムを識別する情報を取得し、当該取得した情報に関連付けて記録されている音声出力設定情報を出力する情報処理装置。 - 請求項5に記載の情報処理装置であって、
音声出力設定情報の要求を受け入れる要求受入手段をさらに有し、
当該要求受入手段は、前記要求を受け入れたときに、ユーザが用いる映像表示装置または前記スピーカーシステムを識別する情報を取得し、
当該取得した情報が予め定めた条件を満足しているときには、スピーカーシステムが備える各スピーカーの方向を表す情報として、予め定められた情報を出力し、前記条件を満足しない場合には、前記取得した情報に関連付けて記録されている音声出力設定情報を出力する情報処理装置。 - 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の情報処理装置であって、
ユーザが用いる端末装置から、当該端末装置に接続されたスピーカーシステムが備える、ユーザの向きに対する各スピーカーの方向を表す情報の入力を受け入れる手段をさらに有し、
前記情報処理装置は、前記端末装置から前記ユーザの向きに対する各スピーカーの方向を表す情報が入力されたときには、前記記録した音声出力設定情報に代えて、当該入力された情報を、音声信号の処理に供する情報処理装置。 - 音声信号を処理し、複数のスピーカーを備えるスピーカーシステムに接続される情報処理装置の制御方法であって、
受入手段がユーザの向きに対する、前記スピーカーシステムが備える各スピーカーの方向を表す情報の入力を受け入れ、
記録手段が、前記受け入れた情報を、設定として記録し、
当該記録された設定を、要求に応じて出力して、音声信号の処理に供する情報処理装置の制御方法。 - 音声信号を処理し、複数のスピーカーを備えるスピーカーシステムに接続される情報処理装置を、
ユーザの向きに対する、前記スピーカーシステムが備える各スピーカーの方向を表す情報の入力を受け入れる受入手段と、
前記受け入れた情報を、設定として記録する記録手段と、
前記記録された設定を、要求に応じて出力する手段と、
として機能させるプログラム。
