Definitions
- the present invention relates to a good quality, lightweight, waterproof and absorbent fabric that absorbs and repels all types of fluids, and that is suitable for joining to form part of protective garments that absorb body fluids.
- the present invention provides essential characteristics of novelty and considerable advantages with respect to the articles known and used for the same purposes in the current state of the art.
- the invention develops a waterproof and absorbent fabric that is formed from the fusion of three resistant components that prevent the passage of body fluids towards outer clothing, and at the same time, due to their natural origin, allow air to flow producing a quick drying, experiencing that the skin does not feel wet, giving comfort and safety to the person.
- This new waterproof and absorbent fabric substantially prevents leakage of vaginal bleeding in the menstrual cycle and the involuntary emission of urine in urinary incontinence with respect to similar articles known in the state of the art.
- the field of application of the invention is included within the industrial sector dedicated to the manufacture of underwear for women and men.
- the field also includes other means of controlling the flow of fluids during menstruation and the absorption and control of fluids and solid waste from the body under incontinent or other conditions.
- Menstruation, urinary incontinence, excessive perspiration and female discharge are situations that make intimate hygiene especially important, since the genital area is exposed to almost permanent contact with moisture caused by body secretions.
- Menstruation is normal vaginal bleeding that occurs as part of a woman's monthly cycle. Every month, your body prepares for a possible pregnancy. If this does not happen, the uterus sheds its lining. This is menstrual blood, which leaves the body through the vagina. This blood is part blood and part tissue from inside the uterus. In addition to bleeding, women may experience: abdominal or pelvic pain or cramping, lower back pain, swollen and sore breasts, cravings for a particular food, irritability and mood swings, headache, and tiredness.
- Urinary incontinence is a condition that affects both men and women, it is a very common condition that involves the involuntary loss of urine during physical activity, when coughing, sneezing or laughing. Despite being very common, people who suffer from urinary incontinence are often embarrassed to be seen using or buying bulky disposable products available on the market.
- Excessive perspiration in the genital area including the crotch, groin and buttocks is an extremely uncomfortable pathology, commonly triggered by stress, anxiety and hormonal disorders and affects both men and women; In addition to the annoying humidity, the Excessive genital perspiration can lead to other associated problems such as infections or irritations and finally the female secretion is produced in the vaginal canal and performs self-purification, moisturizing and lubricating functions. Normal discharge is odorless and is usually milky white or thin and clear.
- menstrual cups were produced industrially, although rudimentary cups had been circulating since 1867, which was interrupted in 1963 for not being profitable, for lack of latex and because they were not commercially successful due to the opinion of women: they seemed that it was too big, rigid and heavy, in addition to the cultural issue that involves the manipulation of the genitals and vaginal secretions.
- the menstrual cup is a medical silicone container that is completely hypoallergenic, adapting to the vaginal walls at all times in order to collect the entire menstrual flow.
- tampons appeared to give women greater freedom when it comes to sports or some recreational activity, these are introduced through the vagina to absorb almost all of the menstrual flow, this unit was disposable and was extracted by means of Made of a cord, the tampon has a tube shape with a compressed core covered by a mesh. During its beginnings, this tool caused toxic shock syndrome, which consisted of an infection that in rare cases was fatal for the user, the risk continues to be mentioned today but no direct relationship is found with its use.
- Some women are able to immediately dispose of stained undergarments, but many attempt to remove stains using a variety of cleaners and techniques. Without deep cleaning, stains can become permanent, which can be a source of embarrassment if other people see the stains. When a leak extends to a woman's outer clothing, it may require the involvement of a cleaning service, which is even more embarrassing.
