This result is achieved in a fire-lighter consisting of a wood agent impregnated with a flammable mixture and bound together. What is novel is that the fire-lighter is an article having a volume of 0.00005 m3 and a weight of 20 g, comprised of wood chips with a diameter of not less than 0.9 mm, which are impregnated with paraffin in a bath at a temperature of not less than +66°С for not less than 31 seconds, then bound together by compression and cooled to a temperature of not less than +21°С, the finished product having a moisture content of not more than 15% and a mass fraction of 33% wood chips and 67% paraffin.
