Abstract

The invention relates to a pair of trousers (H) comprising a waistband system (1) having an encircling waistband (10) and a non-elastic closable belt (40), which, at least on a rear side (RS) of the pair of trousers (H), is integrated, in the form of a non-elastic waistband portion (11a, 11b), in the waistband (10), wherein the waistband (10) has at least one waistband portion (15), which is monoelastic at least in the longitudinal direction (HR) and can be bridged by means of the belt (40), which runs parallel to it. The invention also relates to a method for producing such a pair of trousers (H) and to the use of the latter.

Trousers comprising a waistband system

The invention relates to trousers comprising a waistband system, a method for producing such trousers and the use of such trousers.

Garments that lie on the hips, such as trousers, shorts, jeans and the like, are common parts of lower body clothing in everyday life. They cover the lower body and possibly the legs up to the feet with so-called trouser legs. Lower body clothing typically includes a waistband, e.g. B. pants with a waistband that rests on the hips or waist of a wearer when worn and from which downwards, then the lower extremities of the wearer are partially or fully covered. The waistband is usually designed for a specific hip size (which in turn corresponds to a specific clothing size), can be adjusted at the front, e.g. B. by means of a pressure button, open or close the so-called fly for taking off or tightening, with the closure of the more or less loosely lying on the waist federal government to prevent slipping down if possible. Acquiring new, suitable clothing is not only expensive, it is also often not a solution, since the hip circumference of the wearer naturally varies from time to time depending on the shape of the day and the mostly physical strain. Even carrying a change of clothes is often not logistically possible. Pants with a waistband with elastic parts are known from practice. In this way, the pants actually lie against the hips of the wearer. However, this does not solve the problem that the trousers wear out during extreme movements in which the human body stretches and contracts, e.g. B. when bending, squatting or deep squats, in the lumbar region still slips down and thus usually restricts the freedom of movement of the wearer. In the case of anatomically cut clothing in particular, this means that the fit and the ergonomic qualities are no longer optimal.

For example, US Pat. No. 1,959,486 A discloses trousers with a divided, multi-part waistband for adjusting the width of the trousers. In the side hip areas of the trousers, a front waistband part, which overlaps a back waistband part in an additional layer of material on the outside, is partially sewn over the back waistband part by means of a construction using a fabric flap and an endless loop sewn into it rear, inner waistband part pulled. The inner rear waistband part, which is also connected to the front waistband part in the side hip areas of the pants via a short elastic section on the inside of an overlapping section of the front waistband part, is at least partially unfolded or gathered together when the divided waistband is tightened, so that this construction leads to noticeable creases forming in the side hip areas of the pants. This unfolding of material layers creates unpleasant pressure points or pressure points on the skin when wearing the pants. In addition, this formation of folds also takes place precisely where, due to the construction, there is already a massive accumulation of material of several overlapping material layers on top of each other. This construction, which is multi-layered in the hip areas, is not particularly comfortable to wear on its own. This disadvantage is even greater if a belt is worn over the waistband as usual, since the belt also presses these thickened areas in the waistband onto the hips. In addition, the adjustment means for lateral width adjustment of the divided trousers waistband would then also no longer be freely accessible under the belt, d. H. the wearer would first have to remove the belt in order to adjust the pants to the respective situation.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to specify trousers that can be individually adjusted and/or adjusted to a certain hip size and/or in particular inserts with additional weight offers a firm but at the same time comfortable hold on the hip of a wearer.

This object is achieved by trousers according to patent claim 1, a method for producing the trousers according to patent claim 14 and their use according to patent claim 15.

For this purpose, the trousers according to the invention comprise a special trousers waistband system according to the invention. As is usual for trousers, the trousers according to the invention can also have two trouser legs in addition to the waistband system. B. firmly sewn or can be zipped off, arbitrarily long or short and with or without surcharge. Furthermore, the trousers can have other usual functional parts, such as a plurality of trouser pockets and the like or accessories.

Said waistband system of the pants includes a circumferential waistband. This is basically comparable to a waistband of ordinary pants. As is generally the case, the side of the pants that normally rests against the stomach of the wearer is referred to below as a front side of the pants. Correspondingly, an opposite side of the trousers, more precisely the waistband of the trousers, which usually rests on the back of the wearer, is called the back.

At this point it should be pointed out that relative directions such as "front" or "front", "back" or "rear", "top", "bottom", "side" or "left and right along the hips ', 'outside', 'inside', 'horizontal', 'vertical' etc. refer to trousers as intended for a person standing upright (or the wearer) when worn or on the body would fit.

When worn as intended, said waistband runs from the back in the lumbar region of the wearer above along the hips (sideways) to a front area on the front of the pants. This horizontal direction along the waistband (or waist circumference) is therefore also referred to as the “waistband progression direction” or longitudinal direction of the waistband (or hip circumference direction). The waistband includes several different sections along its course. For example, an inelastic waistband section extends at least on the back side along the waistband. The inelastic waistband section integrated into the waistband is, according to the invention, part of a non-elastic belt that can be closed preferably at the front, particularly preferably at the side on the front side, which will be explained further below. This section of the belt that is integrated into the waistband can therefore also be referred to as “belt-waistband section” in the following, since it forms a common part of the waistband and belt.

The waistband also includes at least one waistband section that is mono-elastic, possibly bi-elastic, at least in the direction of the waistband or at least in the longitudinal direction (of the circumferential waistband), through which the waistband automatically adapts to small changes in the hip circumference of the wearer without creasing. The position and length of this elastic waistband section along the waistband can basically be freely selected. However, preferred developments in this regard are explained further below.

The waistband system of the pants is essentially relaxed in a normal, upright posture. This means that without an external force being applied, the waistband system is in a more or less relaxed state, depending on the width of the waistband of the pants waistband relative to the waist circumference of the wearer. Due to an external force, e.g. B. by a movement of the wearer, such as. B. "bend forward" or "squat down", the waistband system can be brought into a stretch position. The trouser waistband system can also be stretched by loading the trouser pockets or by applying an additional load. At least the previously described monoelastic waistband section of the waistband system is stretched, d. H. the waistband system experiences a change in length in relation to its original length, i.e. its length in the relaxed state. The length of the waistband system here means a dimension in the direction of stretching or perpendicular to the direction in which the waistband runs. The term elongation here mainly includes positive elongation, i.e. stretching. Nevertheless, negative expansions, i.e. compressions due to yielding of the elastic material, on the opposite side of the waistband cannot be ruled out.

At this point, it is pointed out that, within the scope of the invention, such materials are considered “elastic” if they are also seen as elastic in the relevant specialist circles (regardless of the way they are processed). These include in particular substances which contain a certain proportion of elastic fibers (elastane, lycra and similar) in the direction of stretching. In principle, materials that have so-called mechanical stretch properties could also be used if they have sufficient stretch properties.

Typical elastic fabrics are Schoeller®-dynamic or similar.

In contrast to this, those fabrics that are not elastic should be regarded as "inelastic", in particular classic fabric constructions such as plain weave fabrics that do not have any elastic fiber components or mechanical stretching properties.

Typical inelastic fibers are e.g. As cotton, silk, viscose, polyamide or poly ester fibers. These materials have little or no stretch.

This monoelastic waistband section can in turn be bridged according to the invention by means of the aforementioned belt, in which the belt is tightened against one another, for example with its two loose ends or belt end sections. The belt runs, separately from the inelastic waistband section on the back side, parallel to the waistband, also up to a front area of the pants. The strap can preferably also be slightly curved or run slightly curved essentially parallel to the waistband in order to adapt even better to the anatomical and physiological conditions, i. H. e.g. B. to the anatomical hip shape of the wearer. When the belt is closed as intended, the elastic waistband section is then “bridged”, i. H. the strap, which is integrated into the waistband at the back, forms a kind of “bypass” for the front part of the waistband, i.e. it preferably runs around the entire stomach at the front. As a result, the waistband system according to the invention can be fixed.

If the belt is then—as mentioned above—tightened as intended, a maximum degree of elongation of the underlying elastic waistband section can be set. The trousers with the waistband system are held in place above the hips (usually in the area of the wearer’s hipbone) even with additional loads (e.g. directly or indirectly attached to the belt) without the elastic waistband sections have to bear the additional load and would therefore stretch out or form folds due to the excessive load. A combination made of an elastic waistband and a non-elastic, closable strap above it also ensures that both the stretch of the elastic waistband section of the pants can be regulated by means of the non-elastic strap, and that small shape-related variations in hip circumference are automatically compensated for by the elastic waistband itself will. In addition, the belt does not form any additional folds in the side hip area and is much less bulky than is the case with a construction with a multi-part waistband, such as the construction of US Pat Tightening can be gathered into several layers of folded fabric. Tests have shown that such constructions create a large number of pressure points that are felt to be uncomfortable and annoying when wearing the pants, and even painful in the long run.

The pants according to the invention with the waistband system can be adapted to the largest possible number of individual hip sizes at any time during use. For example, if the hip circumference of the same wearer fluctuates slightly from time to time or in special operations with variable or different additional weight during an operation, it stays firmly but at the same time comfortably on the wearer's hips.

Due to the fact that the strap in the lumbar region is integrated into the waistband (or is in direct contact there with the body, in particular by means of the preferred back pads described below), this part in particular is pulled well against the body.

In contrast to the waistbands according to the invention with elastic material that are customary in practice, the pants according to the invention with the waistband system thus achieves even with extreme movements, such as. B. deep knee bends, when climbing etc. a consistently good grip.

A method according to the invention for producing trousers according to the invention with a waistband system comprises at least the following steps:

First, as is usual with trousers, the outer fabric pattern parts, lining and inserts of a pair of trousers are cut from the appropriate fabrics or are provided ready-made. Then the waistband system of the pants is sewn together or sewn together with a peripheral waistband and an inelastic, lockable strap. At least one at least one longitudinally monoelastic waistband section is incorporated into the waistband, preferably under pretension (as explained below), which is bridged by means of the belt running parallel thereto. Here, the closable strap is integrated or sewn into the waistband at least on the back side of the pants as an inelastic waistband section.

Optionally, at least the monoelastic waistband section can be slightly pretensioned or sewn into the waistband with slight pretensioning. “Slight” pretension means that such a waistband section is slightly tensioned, i. H. is sewn into the lengthened state. The elastic waistband portion is thus a little, i. H. pulled in about 1 to 2 cm in length, while he is located below the waistband remaining part, z. B. the front pants and rear pants cut parts of the trouser legs, the pants is sewn. After the sewing, the remaining part of the pants located below the waistband gathers together slightly again because the pre-tension is released. This ensures that the pants still fit the wearer of the pants perfectly even if the waist or hips have increased slightly, since both the elastic waistband section gives way when you pull it on, and so does the slightly gathered part below of the waistband is straightened or stretched to its original maximum length.

The inventive use of trousers according to the invention with a trouser waistband system and preferably a back pad integrated into the trouser waistband in the lumbar region of the wearer, as a particularly flat, non-slip, body-hugging substructure, also allows an additional hip belt or belt for small additional loads and objects to be used in particular wear well, as is often required by the police, fire brigade, military and the like. This can be attached or attached to the trousers waistband system in a detachable manner.

Further, particularly advantageous refinements and developments of the invention result from the dependent claims and the following description, whereby the independent claims of one claim category can also be developed analogously to the dependent claims and exemplary embodiments of another claim category and, in particular, individual features of different exemplary embodiments or Variants can be combined to form new exemplary embodiments or variants. There are different options for the design of the waistband of the waistband system of the pants.

The waistband preferably has two elastic waistband sections, which adjoin the inelastic waistband section of the strap or the belt-waistband section, each running forwards along the waistband. By "laterally" it is meant that in this case the elastic waistband portions in side areas extend substantially along the hips/waist of the wearer. To put it more precisely, the elastic waistband sections run essentially from the lumbar vertebrae around the respective hipbones into a front lower abdomen area of the wearer. They can be designed symmetrically relative to a sagittal plane (directions on the body are generally given below with anatomical directions known from medicine) through the wearer or through the pants for the wearer. With a frontal view of the pants from the front (thus also on the frontal plane of the wearer when the pants are worn), the left part can accordingly be formed symmetrically to the right part. Within the meaning of the invention, “connect” is to be understood as meaning that the respective sections merge directly into one another, d. H. for example sewn together or otherwise linked.

There are various options for the elastic properties of the elastic waistband sections.

Preferably, the elastic waistband sections can be formed with a material that can be stretched at least 30%, particularly preferably at least 35%, very particularly preferably at least 40% in the longitudinal direction of the waistband. In the stretched state, the said material is longer by the corresponding percentage than in the relaxed state. Preferably, a material can be used for this that be particularly long, d. H. even after a large number of stretches, returns to its original state as well as possible without noticeably wearing out.

The material thus already adapts very well to a varying hip circumference of a wearer of the waistband system during an operation. For example, when changing a carrying position or in the course of a changed posture. Preferably, the waistband can also have an inelastic waistband section at the front in the crotch area or lower abdomen area. This can be formed similar to the inelastic rule, integrated into the waistband waistband section on the back of the pants. Preferably, however, it can be significantly shorter, namely extend only in a small central area. Particularly preferably, this can adjoin the front end of the elastic trouser waistband sections, ie connect the two elastic trouser waistband sections in each case.

With such a solution - without the usual trouser fly - it is basically also possible to form the entire front area elastically, i. H. without the aforementioned inelastic waistband portion of the waistband.

Particularly preferably, the waistband in the front area (where the fly is also located in the case of commercially available pants) can be interrupted with at least one fly, perpendicular to the running direction of the waistband.

For this purpose, the inelastic waistband section of the waistband can preferably be in two parts, i. H. two inelastic end sections or trousers waistband sections aufwei sen. The trouser fly separates the inelastic trouser waistband section into the two said trouser waistband end sections. These inelastic trousers waistband end sections can preferably be connected to one another by means of two interacting fastening means.

For example, the trouser fly can be closed by means of a zipper or Velcro along its course, so that the two inelastic trouser waistband end sections are then held together in the closed state.

Alternatively or additionally, said trouser fly can preferably be connected or closed by means of two, particularly preferably intermeshing, selective fastening means. They can also be designed to be able to fix other components in a detachable manner. Specifically, one of the two trouser waistband sections can have a fastening eyelet, for example, with the other then having a corresponding trouser button. In this way, both can be releasably connected to one another as intended. The fastening eyelet can be, for example, a simple buttonhole that is designed in accordance with the relevant trouser waistband section. When closed, the trouser button is simply off guided through the button hole on the inside and protrudes forward away from the trousers and away from the waistband. It is therefore available for accommodating further layers of material, in particular fastening eyelets, as will be explained further below.

For the configuration of an elastic or an inelastic trouser fly, the respective end regions can be formed entirely or partially with the corresponding materials, if necessary only in the end sections of the trouser waistband sections that overlap in the closed state.

Consequently, at least one fastening means suitable for coupling to at least one coupling element can be attached centrally on the outside of the front inelastic waistband section, as is preferred—even without an existing trouser fly to be closed. Specifically, for coupling a fastening eyelet as a possible coupling element z. B. a trouser button or a similar protruding element can be attached as a fastening means, z. B. with a middle part of the belt, which is described below. Conversely, for coupling a trouser button or the like, a fastening eyelet can be incorporated centrally on the outside of the inelastic front part of the trouser waistband.

In principle, the invention is also not limited to the described arrangement or sequence of the elastic and inelastic sections. In the same way, several elastic and inelastic sections along the waistband can alternate with one another or be arranged in alternation with one another. This could e.g. B. for attaching a plurality of stronger slings for heavier objects, since the material of the inelastic sections would presumably provide a better base for the slings than is the case with elastic, compliant material.

Primarily to better press the waistband system in the lumbar region, but u. also to be able to regulate the degree of stretching - both in the event of possible overstretching due to particularly heavy loads and to reduce material wear, e.g. B. sagging - and thus to improve the hold of the waistband system as a whole, the waistband system has the lockable strap already mentioned.

The belt can preferably cover the waistband, in particular the elastic waistband sections, when the waistband system is worn as intended. During normal use or prior to tightening the belt as intended this can also only lie loosely over the elastic waistband sections. At the latest when the belt is stretched, it lies directly over the elastic waistband sections, so that these are no longer visible from the outside and are physically protected.

Any colored materials can be used for the elastic waistband sections without z. B. when used as tactical clothing a camouflage property of the clothing is negatively affected. In addition, such elastic materials can thus also be used which, although they have very good elastic properties, are sensitive to superficial stress or sharp edges. This is because the elastic waistband sections cannot be damaged directly from the outside during use, which in turn ensures that the waistband fits and that the waistband system is held in place.

There are also different possibilities for the design of the belt.

For example, a plastic stiffener can be formed in the belt to increase rigidity. This ensures that the belt, if z. B. additional weight or additional holsters or the like are attached to it, not unintentionally rolled up, twisted or twisted in its longitudinal direction.

A commercially available closure, e.g. B. a belt buckle or the like can be used.

However, the belt can preferably have two loose belt end sections that are variable in length relative to one another and can be fixed at least in sections. These can e.g. B. set against each other centrally in a front area of the waistband system who the, possibly also slightly offset to the side.

The waistband system can preferably have a separate central part, on which the belt end sections can each be fixed indirectly in relation to one another, each variable in length.

The middle part can be coupled to the waistband, preferably by means of a coupling element to a corresponding fastening means of the waistband. in the In the intended state, the central part is then coupled to the waistband, which means that the central part or the belt cannot undesirably slide up relative to the trousers or to the body.

Basically, the middle part is an independent part. But it can also be seen as a separate part of the belt.

Particularly preferably, the central part can comprise a number of endless strips of material, very particularly preferably endless plastic or metal elements. The middle part therefore forms at least one closed loop or an endless strip of material, through which the two belt end sections - each coming from the outside - are passed, then folded back to the outside, fixed with hook and loop tape and thus indirectly fixed to each other in a variable length can become.

Very particularly preferably, the central part can have at least three endless material loops or loops linked in the manner of chain links, e.g. B. a middle, flexible fabric loop and two outer closed, essentially rigid, inflexible ring loops for passing through the belt end sections. As ring loops z. B. round rings, half-round rings or D-rings, rectangular rings or square rings or the like. With a corresponding arrangement of the central part between the two belt end sections, the two loose belt end sections of the belt can each be threaded or guided through the lateral ring loops, coming from the outside, and then folded back to the outside for fixing. In this case, the belt end sections can be indirectly, d. H. The two ring loops, which are connected to the fabric loop like chain links, can be variably adjusted in length against each other. For this purpose, the surfaces of the belt end sections that face each other in the folded state can be provided with corresponding Velcro surfaces, for example.

Preferably, the two outer ring loops can each be bordered in two lateral sub-sections of the middle fabric loop. The remaining area of the central fabric loop between the two ring loops can then have two material layers arranged parallel to the trousers at a minimal distance from one another and lying in front of one another. One layer of material is closer to the pants, one further away. The materials are in this case flat structures, ie they have comparatively large dimensions in the direction of their surface, whereas their extension in a direction perpendicular to the surface, ie their thickness, is relatively small. The material layer close to the trousers can preferably be designed with a fastening eyelet so that the central part can be attached or buttoned to the above-mentioned fastening means (e.g. trousers button) of the waistband from the front when the waistband of the waistband system is closed as intended. Equally, however, a reversed arrangement of the fastening means or the fastening eyelet on the respective other part is also conceivable. For a visually tidy overall picture, the outer material layer can also be designed without openings or fastening means, ie smooth and flat.

For example, the middle part described above could be produced as follows: A suitably made-up strip of material is sewn to form a closed, continuous endless belt or fabric loop, edging the ring loops. Then the two ring loops are pulled apart as much as possible under slight tension, so that the fabric loop i. W. has the form of two elongate material layers lying close to one another and running parallel to one another. In this state, the two predominantly parallel material layers of the fabric loop are then sewn together to form two smaller loops enclosing the ring loops along a seam within the two ring loops perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the fabric loop. As a result, the fabric loop is divided into three areas in the longitudinal direction, namely in the two lateral sub-areas or ring loop areas with the ring loops (outside) and in a central area with two material layers lying one above the other.

This ensures that the waistband width of the trousers can be adjusted on both sides and that there are no further layers of material or buckles on top of the belt end sections in the area of the middle part due to the belt end sections being folded over to the sides. Such an accumulation of layers of material in the lower abdominal area would be particularly annoying when bending over. Therefore, the particularly flat construction described here is noticeably more comfortable compared to conventional constructions with a belt buckle or the like, and on top of that favors the use of an additional belt to hold holsters, bags, o. Ä.

The construction is not only particularly flat in the front lower abdomen area, but also has no additional, unfolding dimensions in the lateral hip areas. teriallagen on, by the wearer of the pants - especially when wearing addi tional side holsters in use, z. B. for objects such as pistols, knives, sticks, lamps, etc. - could be perceived as annoying, as this can cause pressure points, bruises and sores on the skin, especially during longer operations.

There are also various possibilities for the further design of the waistband and/or areas of the pants bordering the waistband. For example, several trouser pockets or pockets below the waistband, especially in the lateral areas on the front and back of the trousers, may be formed so that the wearer can carry it if necessary, e.g. B. use-related, objects can carry.

The circumferential waistband can preferably have at least one belt loop on the outside.

A single belt loop can, e.g. B. also tunnel-like (to carry out or guide a belt) at least over the area of the inelastic Hosenbundab section on the back of the pants. It is particularly advantageous if it also consists of an elastic material or is sewn with appropriate play for expansion or compression of the underlying elastic material. A belt loop could, for example, also extend into the area of the elastic waistband sections on the front or the sides of the pants, as long as they do not significantly impair their elastic behavior.

If there are several individual belt loops, these are preferably shorter “loop strips” or belt loops arranged at regular intervals from one another on the outside along the waistband of the trousers, such as are known from conventional trousers, for example. Such loop strips can run predominantly perpendicular to the senbund Ho, ie in each case band-like connect an upper edge of the trouser waistband with a lower edge of the trouser waistband Un. The belt loops can form a respective loop alone or together with the waistband, e.g. B. respectively for carrying out the belt end sections or an additional belt.

Preferably, at least one, particularly preferably at least two, such belt loop(s) can be (re)closable, e.g. B. by means of (each) two miteinan to be connected to the loop strip sections. These can preferably each in The region of the inelastic belt end sections on the front of the waistband can be arranged so that they span the fixed belt end sections when closed. This facilitates both the (at least front) threading and fixing of the belt according to the invention and the application of an additional belt over the entire waistband.

Particularly preferably, all belt loops can be designed for opening and closing, in order to easily thread the belt and/or a possible additional belt, in particular a belt already provided with a load or additional weight, almost arbitrarily into one or more belt loops or from one or more belt loops To be able to unthread belt loops. At least the additional belt can thus be put on or taken off completely (including in a closed, only slightly loosened state) without any problems.

However, it should be pointed out here that the waistband system according to the invention is not limited to a single type of the belt loops described above. The waistband system preferably has an inside back pad on the back in the area of the inelastic waistband section that is also integrated into the waistband. This means that the back pad is arranged on the inside of the waistband on the back of the pants. The back pad means, for example, a cushioning element or cushion that has almost no elastic properties or cushioning properties in a radial direction away from the wearer, but is very permeable to air.

The back pad can comprise at least one knitted spacer fabric, as is known, for example, from DE 102016 103 588 A1, which is surrounded by a pleasant, non-elastic material during the course of the inside sewing to the waistband for reasons of comfort. Preferably, the back pad can be essentially heart-shaped or semi-circular without a point, with a V-shaped cutout for optical reasons. Preferably, the inelastic waistband portion of the strap on the back of the pants may have a lumbar portion widened toward the buttocks. Such a widened lumbar section can preferably extend beyond the inside term back pad, ie it covers z. Preferably, the widened lumbar section of the inelastic waistband section can have a piece of fabric on the outside, which covers the back pad sewn on the inside. On the other hand, the lumbar vertebrae section can have a wider arcuate material section, which widens the lumbar vertebrae section beyond the back pad. The trousers can preferably have a monoelastic, preferably bielastic material section on the back below the inelastic strap integrated into the waistband (preferably below the widened lumbar section and laterally partly around it).
