Description

DESCRIPTION
A LOCKING MECHANISM FIXING MECHANIC SUSPENSION IN VEHICLE SEATS Technical Field
Invention relates to a locking mechanism providing fixing of spring motion of mechanical suspensions at vehicle seats.
Invention particularly relates to a locking mechanism providing maintaining fixing of spring motion of suspensions minimizing impacts of surface bumpers, at desired position and level in vehicles.
Present State of the Art
Today most of tyre-vehicles have seat suspensions in seats. Suspension used in the seats is a mechanism used to mitigate vibrations caused by non-smooth roads in vehicles and helping user not to feel them.
Suspension constantly provides up and down motion against strokes that might cased by surface bumpers. User makes weight adjustment of the seat according to his/her weight and suspension makes same spring motion for different users. User may wish to keep suspension doing up-down suspension continuously at a position and level s/he wishes but the related art has no embodiment meeting such requirement of user.
In literature search, the application numbered TR 2017/11440 is encountered. Said document relates to a seat suspension system comprising a suspension mechanism comprising a body as a carcass making the carrier absorbing strokes on the driver's seat when driving on bumpy road and providing comfortable driving by vehicle driver, seat suspension comprising spring and absorber absorbing dynamic forces, connection member providing rotation movement, lower arm, upper arm, mid-arm making partial motion by force from road on z-axis and moving said body (+y)-(-y) direction. Said document does not have a locking mechanism limiting spring motion of the suspension.
As a result, due to above described disadvantages and inadequacy of existing solutions, it has been necessary to make development in the related art.
Purpose of the Invention The invention has been developed with inspiration from existing situation and aims to eliminate the above mentioned disadvantages.
Primary purpose of the invention is to provide fixing suspension used in vehicle seats at desired size and position by use of a locking mechanism.
Another purpose of the invention is to disclose a seat mechanism wherein user can use suspension at size and position s/he wishes and can limit suspension movement.
In order to achieve above mentioned purposes, the invention relates to a locking mechanism providing maintaining fixing of spring motion of suspensions minimizing impacts of surface bumpers, at desired position and level in vehicles.
The structural and characteristics features of the invention and all advantages will be understood better in detailed descriptions with the figures given below and with reference to the figures, and therefore, the assessment should be made taking into account the said figures and detailed explanations.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the locking mechanism being subject of the invention have been described only for purpose of better understanding of the matter.
The invention is a locking mechanism comprising weight adjustment mechanism providing minimizing effects of surface obstacles and keeping spring motion of suspensions at desired position and level and main body (10) carrying upper body and lower base sheet (20) carrying suspension parts and seat thereon and providing connection of them to the vehicle, external switch (30) playing role in up and down movement of suspension, centring in mid-positions thereof to move parallel together and internal switch (40) and characterized in comprising a locking arm (50) providing locking upon pulling from lower base sheet (20) outward. It also comprises a lock pin (31) located in external switch (30) and locking into housing (53) provided on locking arm (50) in case of locking and thus providing fixing of said external switch (30) to lower base sheet (20).
Locking mechanism of the invention comprises a primary cavity (21) providing free movement of locking pin (31) on lower base sheet (20) when there is no locking. In addition, it comprises an arm plastic (51) providing keeping said locking arm (50) ergonomically and movement thereof and a locking arm pin (54) providing performance of locking function by locking arm (50). It also comprises a secondary cavity (22) where locking arm pin (54) is moved to provide locking and a spring (52) providing movement by providing tightening to locking arm pin (54) inside secondary cavity (22).
Currently suspension makes up-down spring movement continuously. Internal switch (40) and external switch (30) which are the most important components in the spring movement move in switch rolls (60) located on the mechanisms and in housing on lower base sheet (20) and main body (10) parts and plays role in up-down movement of suspension. Internal switch (40) and external switch (30) mechanisms are centred from central positions and moves together in parallel. Locking mechanism of the invention is mounted to lower base sheet (20) of suspension and comprises fixing spring movement of suspension with interaction between lock pin (31) external switch (30) mechanisms. When lock mechanism is in open position, lock pin (31) located on external switch (30) spindle moves freely inside smooth primary cavity (21) discharge located at lower base sheet (20) (figure 4). The free movement does not limit spring movement of suspension. As shown in figure 5, when locking arm (50) is slightly pulled outward and released, it is released from secondary cavity (22) in lower base sheet (20) upon tightening of mechanism spring (52) and locking pin (31) provided on external switch (30) is fixed into housings (53) in locking arm (50). With this motion, external switch (30) remains fixed in mounted lock mechanism located in lower base sheet (20) and suspension cannot move up and down.
Locking mechanism of the invention can fixed the suspension at desired level and position. The user may terminate the spring movement whenever s/he desires.
