Description

"LIGHTING ASSEMBLY"
DESCRIPTION
[0001]The present invention relates to a lighting assembly. [0002]Preferably, said lighting assembly is of the type for outdoor spaces. In particular, in the present discussion, the term outdoor spaces means a space being completely outdoors, i.e., completely exposed to weathering, e.g., a garden, but also a partially outdoor space, such as balconies or external porches, in any case exposed to weathering although partially sheltered by canopy elements.
[0003]The lighting field is characterized by huge innovation efforts, from both the aesthetic point of view, with the constant research for new shapes, and the technical and functional point of view, often to support the new aesthetic trends indeed.
[0004]In particular, one of the predominant trends is to have lighting devices with distinctive shapes offering however an effective lighting at the same time.
[0005]In other words, the market requires that the lighting devices, in addition to having aesthetic features of particular value and workmanship, are suitable for producing an effective lighting possibly localized, where necessary. [0006]In further detail, the market requires that the lighting devices, in particular wall-mounted, i.e., which are mountable on a preferably vertical base surface, are suitable for emitting a high amount of light as localized as possible.
[0007]At the same time, the lighting assembly should not have a complex shape and should be simple to mount, remaining as versatile and modular as possible.
[0008]Furthermore, at the same time, the lighting assembly must not blind a person observing it directly.
[0009]It is an object of the present invention to provide a lighting assembly that effectively meets all of the above needs.
[0010]Such an object is achieved by a lighting assembly provided according to claim 1.
[0011]The features and advantages of the lighting assembly according to the present invention will become apparent from the following description, given by way of non limiting example, according to the accompanying drawings, in which:
