More preferably, the inlet of the means for transporting fermentation broth is situated at the underside or bottom of the bioreactor.

At the moment the first bioreactor is full, half of its contents is transferred to a clean, empty second bioreactor and feeding of both bioreactors is continued at the triple rate until both the first and second bioreactors are full again after 43h. Thereafter, 1/3 of the first bioreactor content and 1/3 of the second bioreactor content is transferred to a clean, empty third bioreactor and feeding of all three bioreactors is continued at the triple rate until end of fermentation.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de culture d'un micro-organisme, comprenant les étapes suivantes : introduction dans un premier bioréacteur d'un milieu et d'un inoculum du micro-organisme, et la culture du micro-organisme dans une culture à alimentation discontinue jusqu'à ce que le degré de remplissage du premier bioréacteur soit supérieur à 80 % ; transport d'une première partie du bouillon de fermentation du premier bioréacteur vers un second bioréacteur ; et culture du micro-organisme dans une culture à alimentation discontinue dans le premier et le second bioréacteur jusqu'à ce que le degré de remplissage du premier et du second bioréacteur soit supérieur à 80 %.
