近年、金属缶容器のリサイクル環境も整っていることから、特許文献1のような薄い材料の金属容器を用いることで、材料コスト、成形コストを低減し、重量も軽くしつつ、食器として1度のみの利用でも資源の節約、廃棄物の削減を行える可能性はある。
しかしながら、上面側が開口した金属製の容器そのものを空のままで保管、輸送し、使用者が開口したままで使用を行うには、形状、構造が適していないという問題があった。
また、プラスチックによる海洋汚染が進行している等の環境汚染を防止する世界的な意識の高まりから、リサイクルに向け回収され易い材料で作られた容器が求められている。
また、容器を2つ重ねた際、上方の容器の下方の容器から突出する突出部が、下方の容器の上端から20mm以下の高さであることにより、複数の容器を重ねた際の高さを小さくすることできる。

また、底部の板厚が0.35mm以下であり、容器の全高を100%とした場合の50±10%の高さの範囲で胴部が板厚0.10~0.22mmであることで、材料コスト、成形コストを低減し、軽量とすることができるとともに、容器の全高を100%とした場合の、最下部から10%の高さの外周面と90%の高さの外周面を結ぶ線が上方に向かって3°~10°の角度で外方に広がる形状に形成されていることで、さらに好適な形状となる。
本請求項3に記載の構成によれば、突出部の前記容器の高さに対する割合であるスタック率が、4%~15%であることで、複数の容器を重ねた際に嵌まり込みを防ぐ等の分離の容易性を担保しつつ体積を小さくすることができ、空のままで保管、輸送する際の効率を向上することができる。
本請求項4に記載の構成によれば、さらに好適となる。
本請求項5に記載の構成によれば、複数の容器を重ねた際に胴部同士が面で密に接触することを確実に防止でき、複数重ねた容器を個々に分離する際、容器間の空気の流通を良好にでき分離の容易性をさらに向上できる。
本請求項6に記載の構成によれば、缶上方に凸となっているドーム状の中央ドーム部を有することで底部の強度を確保できるとともに、缶下方に凸となっている環状の接地リム部によって、安定的に接地することが可能となる。
本請求項7に記載の構成によれば、中央ドーム部の前記接地リム部の接地面からの高さが、中央ドーム部のパネル径の12%以下であることによって、内容物を入れた際の容量を確保できるとともに、重心を低く保つことができより安定的に接地することが可能となる。
本請求項8に記載の構成によれば、中央ドーム部の曲率半径が、中央ドーム部のパネル径の1.0倍以上、6.0倍以下の範囲で構成されていることによって、内容物を入れた際の容量を確保できるとともに、重心を低く保つことができより安定的に接地することが可能となる。
本請求項9乃至請求項12に係る缶によれば、飲料・食料等の充填設備、蓋の取り付け設備等の容器の輸送、移送の際に、容器を積み重ねた状態で輸送、移送を行うことが可能となり、飲料・食料等を充填し封緘して缶の製造する場合等の効率を向上することができる。
胴部110は、上方に向かって外方に広がる中間側部111と、上部開口101の近傍の上方側部113と、底部120に繋がる下方側部114と有している。
本実施形態では、中間側部111は容器中心線を含む断面視で直線状の一様なテーパ形状であり、角度θは5°である。
また、上方側部113及び下方側部114は、外方に広がっていない。
図1に示すように、容器の全高を100%とした場合、中間側部111は、均一の外方への広がり角度で、ほぼ最下部から10%の高さから90%の高さまで形成されているため、容器の全高を100%とした場合の、最下部から10%の高さの外周面と90%の高さの外周面を結ぶ線の外方に広がる角度はθとほぼ同じ約5°である。
なお、図6に示す容器100Bのように、胴部110Bの外方への広がりが容器中心線を含む断面視で角度が徐々に変化する曲線状でもよく、容器100Cのように、胴部110Cに複数の段部が形成されていてもよく、直線状の広がり、曲線状の広がり、段部等が組み合わされていてもよい。
その際、胴部110の容器の全高を100%とした場合の、最下部から10%の高さの外周面と90%の高さの外周面を結ぶ線の外方に広がる角度が2°~15°の角度で外方に広がる形状に形成されていれば、局所的には本実施形態の上方側部113、下方側部114と同様に、2°~15°の範囲外の部分が一部存在してもよい。
また、中央ドーム部121の形状は、中央ドーム部121の最上部の接地リム部122の接地面からの高さ(ボトムシンク)をdH、中央ドーム部121のパネル径(中央ドーム部121の容器中心線を含む断面における両外周端間の最短距離)をdW、容器中心線を含む断面における中央ドーム部121の曲率半径をdRとすると、
dH/dW≦12%
1.0≦dR/dW≦6.0
となるように形成され、底部の強度の向上、重心の安定、容量の確保を図っている。
なお、容器中心線を含む断面における中央ドーム部121の曲率半径dRは、前記範囲内であれば、連続的あるいは段階的に変化するように形成されていてもよい。
本実施形態では、接地リム部122は周知の2ピース飲料缶と同様の形状に形成されているが、できる限り外周寄りに狭い幅で形成されるのが望ましい。
また、本実施形態は周知のアルミニウム合金製の2ピース飲料缶と同様に、約0.01mmのPETフィルムを両面にラミネートした板厚0.20mm~0.35mmのアルミニウム合金の板材からプレス加工で製造される。
このことで、容器に成形した時、材料の板厚がほぼ維持される底部が板厚0.20mm~0.35mm、容器の全高を100%とした場合の50±10%の高さの範囲の胴部110が板厚0.10~0.22mmとなる。
本実施形態では、胴部110の上端部は、コップとして使用するために端面が直接口に当たらない形状に成形されている。
(1)上方の容器100の中間側部111の外面上端と、下方の容器100uの上方側部113の内面上端付近、
(2)上方の容器100の下方側部114の外面下端と、下方の容器100uの中間側部111の内面下端付近、
等の少なくとも1つが接触して重なり、上方の容器100の中間側部111の外面と下方の容器100uの中間側部111の内面とが面で密に接触することはない。
本実施形態では、突出高さTは8.0mmであり、容器100の高さHに対する突出部の高さTの割合であるスタック率は7.1%である。
なお、上方側部113及び下方側部114を中間側部111とは異なる角度で外方に広がるように形成してもよく、いずれか一方のみを設ける、あるは、両方設けないようにしてもよい。
さらに、上方側部113及び下方側部114を内方に狭まるように形成してもよい。
ビードの形状、方向、本数、場所はいかなるものでもよく、内面側に突出しても外面側に突出しても内外面が混在してもよい。
また、接触部として機能するのであれば、ビード形状ではなく、点や面で中間側部111から内面側及び/又は外面側に突出する突出部であってもよい。
蓋部材としては、金属製のステイオンタブ蓋、積層体からなるシート、ネジ蓋等、いかなるものであってもよい。
蓋部材をステイオンタブ蓋として胴部の上端に巻締める場合は、容器の胴部の上端は巻締のためのトリミング加工後に面状部を形成するフランジング加工を行った状態であればよい。
蓋部材を積層体からなるシートとして胴部の上端に熱等で接着する場合は、容器の胴部の上端は接着面積を確保するために面状部を有する形状としてもよい。積層体からなるシートとしては、例えば、アルミニウム箔、紙、樹脂フィルムやこれらを2種以上積層したラミネート材が挙げられ、更に熱接着層(ヒートシール層)が積層されていてもよい。熱接着層としては、公知のシーラントフィルムを始め、ラッカータイプ接着剤、イージーピール接着剤、ホットメルト接着剤等の接着剤からなる層が採用できる。
蓋部材をネジ蓋として胴部の上端にネジ固定する場合は、容器の胴部の上端の上方側部113等の突出部112にネジ条を有するものとしてもよく、ネジ蓋をネジ固定するために別途ネジ条を有する注出口付き蓋部材を容器の胴部の上端に巻締めてもよい。
突出部112を蓋部材の取り付け形態に合わせることで、蓋部材をどのようなものとしても、容器部分を保管、輸送する際の効率を向上することができる。

Claims (12)
- 底部と胴部を有し、上面側が開口した金属製の容器であって、
前記胴部は、容器の全高を100%とした場合の、最下部から10%の高さの外周面と90%の高さの外周面を結ぶ線が2°~15°の角度で外方に広がる形状に形成され、
前記容器を2つ重ねた際、上方の容器の突出する突出部が、下方の容器の上端から20mm以下の高さであることを特徴とする容器。 - 前記底部が板厚0.20mm~0.35mmであり、
容器の全高を100%とした場合の、50±10%の高さの範囲で前記胴部が板厚0.10~0.22mmであり、
前記胴部は、容器の全高を100%とした場合の、最下部から10%の高さの外周面と90%の高さの外周面を結ぶ線が3°~10°の角度で外方に広がる形状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の容器。 - 前記突出部の前記容器の高さに対する割合であるスタック率が、4%~15%であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の容器。
- 前記突出部の前記容器の高さに対する割合であるスタック率が、5%~9%であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の容器。
- 前記胴部が、他の容器と重ねた際に他の容器と点または線で接触する接触部を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれかに記載の容器。
- 前記底部が、缶上方に凸となっているドーム状の中央ドーム部と、前記中央ドーム部よりも径方向外側において缶下方に凸となっている環状の接地リム部とを有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の容器。
- 前記中央ドーム部の前記接地リム部の接地面からの高さが、前記中央ドーム部のパネル径の12%以下であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の容器。
- 容器中心線を含む断面における前記中央ドーム部の曲率半径が、前記中央ドーム部のパネル径の1.0倍以上、6.0倍以下の範囲で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項6または請求項7に記載の容器。
- 請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれかに記載の容器と、前記容器の上面側の開口部を閉塞するように取り付けられる蓋部材とを有することを特徴とする缶。
- 前記蓋部材が、金属製のステイオンタブ蓋であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の缶。
- 前記蓋部材が、積層体からなるシートであることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の缶。
- 前記蓋部材が、ネジ蓋であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の缶。
