Abstract

디스플레이 장치가 개시된다. 디스플레이 장치는, 회로를 포함하는 통신 인터페이스, R(Red), G(Green), B(Blue) 서브 픽셀로 구성된 복수의 픽셀을 포함하는 디스플레이 패널, 제1 값에 대응하는 제1 휘도 정보 및 제2 값에 대응되는 제2 휘도 정보가 저장된 메모리 및 통신 인터페이스를 통해 수신된 입력 프레임에 포함된 픽셀을 구성하는 복수의 서브 픽셀 값, 제1 휘도 정보, 제2 휘도 정보에 기초하여 출력 프레임을 획득하는 프로세서를 포함하며, 프로세서는, 제1 휘도 정보에 기초하여 복수의 서브 픽셀 값 중 적어도 하나에 대응되는 휘도 값을 획득하고, 제2 휘도 정보에 기초하여 복수의 서브 픽셀 값 중 나머지에 대응되는 휘도 값을 획득하며, 획득된 휘도 값들에 기초하여 출력 프레임을 출력하도록 디스플레이 패널을 제어한다.
