Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of cosmetic compositions, and in particular to anti-perspirant compositions comprising high-molecular-weight alpha hydroxy acids, the cosmetic use thereof and the method for applying same. The invention relates to a novel natural, hypoallergenic anti-perspirant composition that comprises natural components. In general, the present invention proposes a composition based on a high-molecular-weight alpha hydroxy acid, shea butter, panthenol, glyceryl stearate, stearic acid, lecithin and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The composition can further comprise silver particles, fatty materials, active substances, surfactants, thickeners and antioxidants. The present invention makes it possible to obtain an anti-perspirant product with high concentrations of alpha hydroxy acid that is stable and non-aggressive to the user's skin.

DESCRIPTIVE REPORT

ANTI-PERSPIRANT COMPOSITION, COSMETIC USE AND METHOD OF

APPLICATION OF THE SAME Invention Technology Sector

[001] The present invention refers to the field of cosmetic compositions, in particular, antiperspirant compositions comprising high molecular weight alpha-hydroxy acids, their cosmetic use and their method of application.

TECHNICAL STATUS

[002] Antiperspirants are products that serve to ward off or prevent body odor, by reducing the local production of sweat by the sweat glands. To achieve this effect, these products usually comprise substances such as aluminum salts and zirconium. Additionally, to eliminate odors generated by the contact of sweat with bacteria and/or fungi, most of these cosmetics also have antibacterial substances such as triclosan and parabens, in addition to artificial fragrances. However, it is known that some of these substances have negative effects on human health. These ingredients are usually prepared in large chemical plants and usually involve the relatively advanced steps of chemical processing. In addition, the process to obtain such substances is not only expensive, but it can also have a significant environmental impact in terms of generation of toxic waste and related to the consumption of energy spent for the process.

[003] In addition, it should be noted that compositions comprising such artificial additives, in general, expose users to contact with harmful chemical substances. At high doses, aluminum absorption through the skin can cause a greater burden on the body than oral ingestion, and aluminum itself adversely affects the blood-brain barrier, is capable of damaging DNA and has adverse epigenetic effects, and may also to be related to diseases such as breast cancer, kidney dysfunction, Alzheimer's disease. On the other hand, additives such as triclosan and parabens can trigger allergies, irritations, hormonal changes, heart problems and even constitute factors for the incidence of skin and breast cancer.

[004] Thus, products using natural components are presented as a good alternative to avoid contact with these substances. In the face of increasing global demands, environmental sustainability has become a matter of growing importance. In addition, in an analogous way, it can also be noted the growth in demand for cosmetic products of natural, vegan and/or any other origins with “eco-friendii appeal. It is known then that there are a large number of natural ingredients available that provide a certain degree of deodorant benefit when applied to the skin.

[005] International patent no. ^Q WO2019050399, "DEODORANT COMPOSITION" owned by Nuud BV proposes a deodorant composition comprising an oil-based vehicle and porous particles comprising metallic silver. This patent demonstrates an alternative to the use of toxic components such as triclosan or parabens through the use of porous particles comprising metallic silver, this preferably in the form of microparticles. However, studies on metallic silver in the human body are still ongoing, and the consumer is still not completely clear about the effects of including silver in cosmetic products; therefore, its use as the sole responsible for the antimicrobial and antiperspirant effect of a deodorant is still limited. [006] Alpha-hydroxy acids are a class of compounds that consist of a carboxylic acid substituted with a hydroxyl group on its adjacent carbon. Compounds belonging to this class include glycolic acid, lactic acid, malic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid and mandelic acid. In the cosmetic industry, alpha-hydroxy acids are used in acne treatments, removal of wrinkles and melasmas. Antimicrobial, antiperspirant and keratolytic effects have been reported for compounds in this class. However, its use is more frequent in topical treatments of short duration, in which they are applied for a short period of time (up to 30 minutes) and then removed; lasting applications to the skin are limited by the high degree of irritation caused by these acids. Adverse reactions that can be caused by alpha hydroxy acids include severe erythema, swelling (especially around the eyes), burning, blistering, bleeding, rash, itching, and discoloration of the skin. Furthermore, the preparation of formulations containing them is hampered by their low stability in water/oil type emulsions.

[007] The most used alpha-hydroxy-acid is glycolic acid, which has proven exfoliating properties, helping to remove excess dead cells and contributing to the elimination of the keratinized layer; however, more attention has recently been turned to high molecular weight alpha-hydroxy acids such as mandelic acid and citric acid, which demonstrate slower skin absorption compared to low alpha-hydroxy acids. molecular weight, and therefore are interesting alternatives for prolonging the effect on the skin and reducing irritation. [008] Brazilian patent document no. ^Q BR 102017010610-1, entitled

"COSMETIC COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR SKIN CARE, COSMETIC USE AND COSMETIC PRODUCT FOR SKIN CARE", proposes a solution that uses glycolic acid in a cosmetic composition, including: (a) glycolic acid in a nano-matrix of releasing galactomannans controlled, (b) free and/or solution glycolic acid and (c) aesthetically acceptable excipients. To circumvent the stability limitations and the high degree of skin irritation caused by glycolic acid, the authors of the aforementioned document suggest the incorporation of glycolic acid in a nano matrix of galactomannans, in order to provide a controlled release of the compound on the individual's skin. This invention has the limitation of depending on the use of nanocomposites for its application, which affects significant production costs.

[009] Patent Document No W02009012925 ^Q, entitled "FORMULATION CONTAINING COSMETIC dermatological PURE OR D OR L Mandelic Acid", describes a cosmetic formulation, comprising at least one antiperspirant agent, at least mandelic acid, water. Optionally, the composition comprises an auxiliary agent, particularly selected from the group of polyethoxylated fatty acids group of monoglycerides, diglycerides and triglycerides with a degree of ethoxylation of approximately 5 to 100 and/or ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) and/or a salt thereof and/or disodium calcium ethylenediaminetetraacetate (Ca-EDTA) and/or disulfide, in which D or L mandelic acid is also used. This document also refers to an alpha-hydroxy acid, mandelic acid , and suggests the stabilization of the solution containing mandelic acid through the formation of gels that allow the inclusion of an amount of up to 2% by weight of the acid in cosmetic or dermatological formulations.

[010] The documents cited above do not reveal a composition comprising high molecular weight alpha-hydroxy acids in concentrations greater than 2%, due to the difficulty of stabilization and the high degree of irritation that alpha-hydroxy acids can cause to the skin . Nor do they reveal alternatives to natural antiperspirant compositions comprising high molecular weight alpha-hydroxy acids. Finally, they do not report the possibility of combining high molecular weight hydroxy acids with silver particles in deodorant compositions.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION

[011] In accordance with the above, in general, the present invention aims to propose an antiperspirant composition comprising a concentration greater than 3% of a high molecular weight alpha-hydroxy acid. Since high molecular weight alpha-hydroxy acids are more slowly absorbed by the skin, their use ensures lower irritability compared to products comprising glycolic acid or lactic acid. To allow the use of high concentrations of alpha-hydroxy-acid without causing irritation to the skin, especially in regions of high sensitivity with the armpits and intimate regions, the present invention proposes the inclusion of shea butter in a concentration greater than 5%, and panthenol at a concentration greater than 3%, both compounds known for their anti-inflammatory properties and capable of preventing skin irritation. In addition, to stabilize the composition containing a high content of fatty material, the addition of three emulsifiers is proposed: glyceryl stearate (in a concentration greater than 3%), stearic acid (in a concentration greater than 2.5%) and lecithin (at a concentration greater than 0.5%). Thus, the present invention allows to obtain a stable and non-aggressive product to the user's skin. ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION

[012] This invention relates to a new antiperspirant cosmetic composition free of compounds with active ingredients of synthetic origin, especially free of aluminum and zirconium. This invention offers the consumer a natural antiperspirant product, which also has antibacterial, exfoliating, keratolytic, moisturizing, conditioning, pro-vitamin B5, antioxidant, whitening and collagen synthesis stimulant properties. [013] Faced with already known deodorants, the present invention presents a natural, hypoallergenic product, formulated from a raw material widely available on the market, without producing residues involving heavy metals.

[014] Until now, the state of the art had not described ways to ensure the protection of the skin against irritation during prolonged use of compositions comprising high levels of alpha-hydroxy-acids. The addition of agents capable of protecting the skin from irritation caused by such acids was also limited by a difficulty in stabilizing and maintaining the viscosity of the emulsion. Through the combination of two active ingredients and three emulsifiers, the present invention allows the use of high molecular weight alpha-hydroxy acids in a stable, lasting and safe way on the skin and in sufficient concentrations to ensure the enjoyment of its antibacterial and antiperspirant activity .

SUMMARY

[015] A first aspect of the present invention discloses compositions used to reduce bad body odors, antiperspirant, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, specifically with a natural appeal. More specifically, it is an antiperspirant composition comprising:

- A high molecular weight alpha-hydroxy acid, in a concentration of between 3% and 7% by mass;

- Shea butter, preferably at a concentration of between 5% and 20% by mass;

- Panthenol, preferably in a concentration of between 3% and 10% by mass;

- Glyceryl stearate;

- Stearic acid;

- Lecithin;

- Pharmaceutically acceptable vehicles.

[016] The present invention provides that the alpha-hydroxy-acid is selected from mandelic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid or any combination of the above.

[017] The present invention may further comprise silver particles in a concentration between 0.1% and 5%

[018] Additionally, the present invention may comprise fatty material selected from the following list: petroleum jelly, coconut oil, olive oil, evening primrose oil, castor oil, argan oil, ojon oil, macadamia oil, jojoba, rosemary oil, avocado oil, peanut oil, tea tree oil, cocoa butter, cupuaçu butter, sweet almond oil, cetostearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, octyl stearate, dicaprylic ether, isopropyl myristate, monostearate glyceryl, glyceryl oleate, mineral oil, isopropyl palmitate, octyl palmitate, capric/caprylic acid triglycerides, caprylate caprate, ketosteryl isonanoate, erfluoropolymethylisopropyl ether or any combination thereof.

[019] The composition may further comprise active ingredient selected from the following list: Aloe vera, chamomile extract, caffeine, guarana extract, bamboo extract, açaí extract, hydrolyzed wheat protein, urea, allantoin, camphor, ceramide protein A2 , menthol, buriti oil, wheat germ oil, passion fruit oil, pomegranate seed oil, grape seed oil, seaweed extract, burdock extract, hop extract, thyme extract, jua extract, ginger extract, fennel extract, fennel extract, yerba mate extract, mint extract, lemon oil, sage extract, black tea, green tea, jaborandi extract, catuaba extract, marapuama extract, extract of cress.

[020] The composition may additionally comprise surfactant selected from the following list: isoamyl laurate, sufactin, iturine, undecylenic acid, undecyl sulfate, caprylyl glycol, lanolin, cross copolymer of acrylates and C10/C30 alkyl acrylates; sorbitan monolaurate; PEG-20 sorbitan monolaurate; PEG-20 methyl glucose distearate; or any of their combinations, sodium lauryl ether sulfate, triethanolamine lauryl sulfate, cetostearyl alcohol, cetyltrimethylammonium chloride, behenyltrimethylammonium chloride, cocoamidopropylbetaine, sodium cocoamphoacetate, laurylpolyglycoside, glyceryl monostearate, ethoxylated potassium ethyl alcohol, coconut fatty acid diethanolamide, or any combination thereof. [021] The composition may additionally comprise a thickener selected from the following list: cassava starch, corn starch, potato starch, rice starch, wheat starch, cassava starch, tapioca starch, arrowroot starch, yam starch , or any combination of the above, guar gum, xanthan gum, natrosol gel, silica, hydroxymethylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose, or any combination thereof.

[022] The composition may further comprise an antioxidant.

[023] A second aspect of the present invention reveals the cosmetic use of said composition, to prevent odors, more specifically to reduce perspiration at the application site on the skin.

[024] A third aspect of the present invention discloses a method of applying said composition, comprising topically applying to the skin surface a cosmetically effective amount of said composition. It also reveals a method of applying the composition which comprises the steps of: dispersing the product on the skin surface; and keep the product on the skin surface for at least one hour.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[025] It is understood by natural deodorant, one that does not comprise substances and/or compounds of synthetic origin; that is, these products do not use toxic substances in their formulations and are able to prevent bad odors caused by body perspiration and the action of microorganisms present on the individual's skin.

[026] A high molecular weight alpha-hydroxy acid is understood to be an alpha-hydroxy acid with a molar mass greater than 150 g/mol. This group includes, for example, mandelic acid, citric acid and tartaric acid.

[027] According to the essential aspects of the present invention, in a first object the antiperspirant cosmetic composition comprises the following components: - A high molecular weight alpha-hydroxy acid, in a concentration of between 3% and 10% by mass;

- Shea butter, preferably at a concentration of between 5% and 20% by mass;

- Panthenol, preferably in a concentration of between 3% and 10% by mass;

- Glyceryl stearate, preferably at a concentration of between 3% and 10% by mass;

- Stearic acid, preferably at a concentration of between 5% and 20% by mass;

- Lecithin, preferably in a concentration between 0.5% and 5% by mass;

- Pharmaceutically acceptable vehicles.

[028] The alpha-hydroxy-acid of high molecular weight has several purposes: moisturizing, stimulating the renewal of the stratum corneum and collagen synthesis, whitening and antioxidant. However, in high concentrations, it can cause considerable skin irritation. The use of a high molecular weight alpha-hydroxy acid is an interesting alternative in relation to a low molecular weight alpha-hydroxy acid, presenting less absorption by the skin and being, therefore, less irritating; even so, the degree of irritation to the skin still limits its use in high concentrations. To overcome this limitation, other components are included in the composition, in order to allow the use of an antiperspirant comprising high concentrations of an alpha-hydroxy acid without causing damage to the user's skin.

[029] The anti-inflammatory properties of shea butter allow to reduce the redness and irritation of the skin in the application of cosmetics, providing curative effects without causing pore clogging. Its formula contains fatty acids such as oleic acid, stearic acid, palmitic acid and linolenic acid, as well as a high concentration of vitamins A, E and F and of tocopherols in its composition, When used in antiperspirant cosmetic formulations, shea butter is normally present in concentrations of up to 1%; high concentrations of this fatty material can lead to composition stabilization problems.

[030] Panthenol is an alcohol is an excellent hydrating and regenerating pro-vitamin B5, able to accelerate the repair of the skin barrier and the hydration of the stratum corneum. It is already widely used in formulations such as creams, face and body lotions, shampoos and conditioners, however, its application in deodorants and antiperspirants is mostly in low concentrations, as high concentrations of this active disturb its viscosity and stability. Panthenol is generally used in a concentration of 0.5% to 1% by mass.

[031] The present invention proposes higher concentrations of shea butter and panthenol, in the range of, respectively, 5% to 20% and 3% to 10% by mass, which allows an effective compensation of the irritating effects on the skin of alpha -hydroxy-acids; in this way, it becomes possible to apply compositions comprising from 3% to 10% by mass of high molecular weight alpha-hydroxy acids.

[032] The high content of shea butter and panthenol can impair the stability of the emulsion in the proposed composition; therefore, it is also proposed to include in the present composition three different emulsifiers: glyceryl stearate, stearic acid and lecithin.

[033] In one embodiment, the concentration of glyceryl stearate is 3% to 10% by mass. In one embodiment, the concentration of stearic acid is 5 to 20%. In one embodiment, the lecithin concentration is from 0.5% to 5%. [034] The combination of the ingredients described above in a composition forms a stable emulsion, in which the vehicles can be pure water or an emulsion including water and fatty materials. The composition may also include other ingredients of interest, such as active principles, surfactants, thickeners, antioxidants and silver particles.

[035] The activity of alpha-hydroxy acids in preventing transpiration and proliferation of microorganisms is directly influenced by the pH value, since the molecule needs to be in its acidic form to produce its effect; pH values close to 3.8 are ideal for the present composition, providing a good relationship between the efficacy and safety of the product, as they allow, at the same time, to guarantee the maintenance of the acidic form of the molecule and the maintenance of the natural pH of the skin.

[036] In one embodiment, the alpha-hydroxy acid used in the present invention is selected from mandelic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid or any combination of the above. These acids are easily obtained from natural raw materials and have a low cost.

[037] In one embodiment, the alpha-hydroxy-acid present in the composition is mandelic acid, which for presenting greater liposolubility, behaves better in a water/oil emulsion, being absorbed more slowly by the human body. Alpha-hydroxy acids with higher water solubility, on the other hand, tend to move mostly into the aqueous fraction of the emulsion, resulting in direct contact with the stratum corneum and much faster absorption by the body.

[038] In one embodiment, the alpha-hydroxy-acid present in the composition is citric acid, which induces the proliferation of type I collagen and type II pro-collagen, in addition to improving the structure of the epidermis and the amount of glycosaminoglycans , treating damage caused by sun exposure.

[039] In one embodiment, the alpha-hydroxy-acid present in the composition is tartaric acid, which has keratolytic, whitening and antioxidant capacity, acting on photoaging and cell renewal.

[040] In one embodiment, the concentration of the high molecular weight alpha-hydroxy acid is 3% to 6% by mass. In one embodiment, the concentration of Shea butter is 10% to 15% by mass. In one embodiment, the concentration of panthenol is 3% to 6% by mass. In one embodiment, the concentration of glyceryl stearate is 5% to 8% by mass. In one embodiment, the concentration of stearic acid is 10 to 15%. In one embodiment, the lecithin concentration is from 1% to 3%.

[041] In one embodiment, the lecithin of the present composition can be, for example, soy lecithin, sunflower lecithin, egg yolk lecithin, or wheat germ lecithin.

[042] In one embodiment, the present invention is further added with silver particles. This metal acts as a kind of plug, blocking the sweat glands and controlling the output of sweat to the surface of the skin. Unlike aluminum and zirconium salts, silver molecules have low toxicity and their low water solubility allows for a controlled release. When added to the present composition, which already provides antiperspirant effects attributed to mandelic acid, it is possible to enhance the intended antiperspirant action, providing an even more effective product in preventing bacterial development.

[043] In one embodiment, silver particles are added at a concentration between 0.1% and 5% by mass. In one embodiment, silver particles are dispersed in the emulsion matrix. In one embodiment, the silver particles are silver microparticles. In one embodiment, the silver particles are silver nanoparticles.

[044] In one embodiment, the present composition is further added to a fatty material, with the aim of improving skin softness and moisturizing it through the occlusion of the epithelial tissue. Said fatty material can be, for example: petroleum jelly, coconut oil, olive oil, evening primrose oil, castor oil, argan oil, ojon oil, macadamia oil, jojoba oil, rosemary oil, oil. avocado, peanut oil, tea tree oil, cocoa butter, cupuaçu butter, sweet almond oil, cetostearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, octyl stearate, dicaprylic ether, isopropyl myristate, glyceryl monostearate, glyceryl oleate, mineral oil, isopropyl palmitate, octyl palmitate, capric/caprylic acid triglycerides, caprylate caprate, cetofluoro-polyesteryl isonanoate, an ether their combinations.

[045] In one embodiment, the added fatty material is cocoa butter. This addition can be between 0.1% and 15% by mass. In one embodiment, the added fatty material is coconut oil. This addition can be between 0.1% and 15% by mass. In one embodiment, the added fatty material is sweet almond oil. This addition can be between 0.1% and 15% by mass.

[046] In one embodiment, the present composition is further added with an active ingredient, which can be, for example: Aloe vera, chamomile extract, caffeine, guarana extract, bamboo extract, açaí extract, hydrolyzed wheat protein , urea, allantoin, camphor, ceramide protein A2, menthol, buriti oil, wheat germ oil, passion fruit oil, pomegranate seed oil, grape seed oil, seaweed extract, burdock extract, hops, thymus extract, juju extract, ginger extract, fennel extract, hipperic extract, yerba extract, mint extract, lemon oil, sage extract, black tea, green tea, jaborandi extract, catuaba extract, marapuama extract, watercress extract or any of its compositions. [047] In one embodiment, the added active ingredient is allantoin. This addition can be between 0.1% and 10% by mass. In one embodiment, the added active ingredient is Aloe vera. This addition can be between 0.1% and 10% by mass. In one embodiment, the added active ingredient is burdock extract. This addition can be between 0.1% and 10% by mass. In one embodiment, the added active ingredient is caffeine. This addition can be between 0.1% and 10% by mass. [048] In one embodiment, the present composition is further added with a surfactant, which aims to provide emulsification formation properties, wettability and solubilization. Said surfactant can be, by example: isoamyl laurate, sufactin, iturine, undecylenic acid, undecyl sulfate, caprylyl glycol, lanolin, cross copolymer of acrylates and C10/C30 alkyl acrylates; sorbitan monolaurate; PEG-20 sorbitan monolaurate; PEG-20 methyl glucose distearate; or any of their combinations, sodium lauryl ether sulfate, triethanolamine lauryl sulfate, cetostearyl alcohol, cetyltrimethylammonium chloride, behenyltrimethylammonium chloride, cocoamidopropylbetaine, sodium cocoamphoacetate, laurylpolyglycoside, glyceryl monostearate, ethoxylated potassium ethyl alcohol, coconut fatty acid diethanolamide, or any of its compositions. These surfactants can also have antibacterial activities, disturbing the phospholipid structure of the cell membrane, contributing to the desired antibacterial effect.

[049] In one embodiment, the added surfactant is cetyl alcohol. This addition can be between 0.1% and 10% by mass. In one embodiment, the added surfactant is sodium acrylate/acryloyl-dimethyltaurate/dimethylacrylamide cross-polymer. This addition can be between 0.1% and 10% by mass. In one embodiment, the added surfactant is isoamyl laurate. This addition can be between 0.1% and 10% by mass.

[050] In one embodiment, the present composition is also added with a thickener, which aims to provide swelling capacity and viscosity to the composition, ensuring gel appearance to the product. Said thickener can be, for example: cassava starch, corn starch, potato starch, rice starch, wheat starch, cassava starch, tapioca starch, arrowroot starch, yam starch, or any combination of the above , guar gum, xanthan gum, natrosol gel, silica, hydroxymethylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose, or any combinations thereof.

[051] In one embodiment, the added thickener is arrowroot starch. This addition can be between 0.1% and 15% by mass. In one embodiment, the added thickener is tapioca starch. This addition can be between 0.1% and 15% by mass. In one embodiment, the added thickener is silica. This addition can be between 0.1% and 15% by mass.

[052] In one embodiment, the concentration of added antioxidant is between 0.01% and 6% by mass. The antioxidant allows you to keep the formulation with the same color and odor for a longer time, in addition to helping to prevent premature skin aging and protect it from free radicals induced by ultraviolet light. In one embodiment, the antioxidant is tocopherol.

[053] The present invention also relates to cosmetic products prepared from the compositions described herein, particularly deodorants and antiperspirants, particularly for individual use.

[054] The present invention also refers to the cosmetic use of the composition as defined above, characterized by preventing odors. It also refers to its cosmetic use to reduce perspiration at the skin application site. It also refers to the continuous use of such a composition, with daily application. It also refers to cosmetic use in the armpit region. It also refers to cosmetic use in intimate regions.

[055] The present invention further relates to the method of applying the composition, as defined above, characterized in that it comprises the topical application to the surface of the skin of a cosmetically effective amount of said composition. It further relates to the method of application which involves dispersing the product over the skin surface and keeping the product on the skin surface for at least one hour. It also refers to the method of daily product application, in which the product is applied at least once a day. It also refers to the application method which consists of placing a tube containing the present composition in contact with the skin.

[056] Below, non-limiting examples of compositions according to the present invention are described. The compositions proved to be stable and usable emulsions. Its preparation was carried out through the means already widely disclosed in the state of the art and known to a person skilled in the art.

Example 1:

- 3% mandelic acid

- Shea butter 5%

- Panthenol 3%

- 3% glyceryl stearate

- 3% stearic acid

- Sunflower lecithin 0.5%

Example 2:

- 6% mandelic acid

- Shea butter 10%

- Panthenol 6%

- Glyceryl stearate 6%

In addition, the use of the aforementioned concentrations of alpha-hydroxy-acids, as well as micro-silver particles, complies with ECOCERT standards by providing a product with the use of natural and organic cosmetic ingredients.

[059] This descriptive report deals with an innovative antiperspirant cosmetic composition, endowed with novelty, inventive step, descriptive sufficiency, industrial application and, consequently, covered with all the essential requirements for the granting of the claimed privilege.

Claims

1. ANTI-PERSPIRANT COMPOSITION, characterized by comprising:

- A high molecular weight alpha-hydroxy acid, in a concentration of between 3% and 10% by mass;

- Shea butter, in a concentration of between 5% and 20% by mass;

- Panthenol, in a concentration between 3% and 10% by mass; and

- Pharmaceutically acceptable vehicles.

2. COMPOSITION according to claim 1, characterized in that the afla-hydroxy-acid is selected from mandelic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid or any combination of the above.

3. COMPOSITION according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it additionally comprises glyceryl stearate in a concentration of between 3% and 10% by mass.

4. COMPOSITION, according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it additionally comprises stearic acid in a concentration of between 5% and 20% by mass.

5. COMPOSITION according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it additionally comprises Lecithin in a concentration between 0.5% and 5% by mass.

6. COMPOSITION according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it additionally comprises silver particles.

7. COMPOSITION according to claims 1 and 6, characterized in that the concentration of silver particles is between 0.1% and 5%.

8. COMPOSITION according to claims 1 and 6, characterized in that the concentration of silver particles is between 1 and 3%.

9. COMPOSITION according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it additionally comprises fatty material with amounts between 0.1% and 15% by mass.

COMPOSITION, according to claims 1 and 9, characterized in that said fatty material is selected from the following list: Vaseline, coconut oil, olive oil, evening primrose oil, castor oil, argan oil, ojon oil, macadamia oil, jojoba oil, rosemary oil, avocado oil, peanut oil, tea tree oil, cocoa butter, cupuaçu butter, sweet almond oil, cetostearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, octyl stearate, dicaprylic ether, isopropyl myristate, glyceryl monostearate, glyceryl oleate, mineral oil, isopropyl palmitate, octyl palmitate, capric/caprylic acid triglycerides, caprylate caprate, ketosteryl isonanoate, erfluoropolymethylisopropyl ether or any combination thereof.

COMPOSITION, according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it additionally comprises active ingredient selected from the following list: Aloe vera, chamomile extract, caffeine, guarana extract, bamboo extract, açaí extract, hydrolyzed wheat protein, urea, allantoin, camphor, ceramide protein A2, menthol, buriti oil, wheat germ oil, passion fruit oil, pomegranate seed oil, grape seed oil, seaweed extract, burdock extract, hop extract , thyme extract, jua extract, ginger extract, fennel extract, hypericum extract, yerba mate extract, mint extract, lemon oil, sage extract, black tea, green tea, jaborandi extract, extract of catuaba, marapuama extract, watercress extract or any of its compositions.

12. COMPOSITION according to claims 1 and 11, characterized in that it additionally comprises between 0.1% and 10% by mass.

13. COMPOSITION according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it additionally comprises surface-active agent in amounts between 0.1% and 10% by mass.

14. COMPOSITION according to claims 1 and 13, characterized in that said surfactant is selected from the following list: isoamyl laurate, sufactin, iturine, undecylenic acid, undecyl sulfate, caprylyl glycol, lanolin, cross copolymer of acrylates and alkyl C10/C30 acrylates; monolaurate of sorbitan; PEG-20 sorbitan monolaurate; PEG-20 methyl glucose distearate; or any of their combinations, sodium lauryl ether sulfate, triethanolamine lauryl sulfate, cetostearyl alcohol, cetyltrimethylammonium chloride, behenyltrimethylammonium chloride, cocoamidopropylbetaine, sodium cocoamphoacetate, laurylpolyglycoside, glyceryl monostearate, ethoxylated potassium ethyl alcohol, coconut fatty acid diethanolamide, or any combination thereof.

15. COMPOSITION according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it additionally comprises thickener in amounts between 0.1% and 15% by mass.

16. COMPOSITION according to claims 1 and 13, characterized in that said thickener is selected from the following list: cassava starch, corn starch, potato starch, rice starch, wheat starch, cassava starch, tapioca starch , arrowroot starch, yam starch, or any combination of the foregoing, guar gum, xanthan gum, natrosol gel, silica, hydroxymethylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose, or any combination thereof.

17. COMPOSITION according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it additionally comprises an antioxidant.

18. COSMETIC USE OF COMPOSITION, as defined in any one of claims 1 to 17, characterized in that it is to prevent odors.

19. COSMETIC USE OF COMPOSITION, according to claim 18, characterized in that it is to reduce perspiration at the application site on the skin.

20. METHOD OF APPLICATION OF COMPOSITION, as defined in any one of claims 1 to 19, characterized in that it comprises the topical application to the surface of the skin of a cosmetically effective amount of said composition.

21. METHOD OF APPLICATION OF COMPOSITION, according to claim 21, characterized in that it comprises the steps of: dispersing the product on the surface of the skin; and keep the product on the skin surface for at least one hour.
