Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Orthese (1) zur kontrollierten Bewegung und/oder Fixierung einer Hand (91) und/oder eines Unterarms (92) eines Patienten, welche es über ein Zusammenspiel des wenigstens einen Hand-Kontrollmittels (11), des wenigstens einen Unterarm-Kontrollmittels (12), sowie eines mit Hand-Kontrollmittel (11) und Unterarm-Kontrollmittel (12) bzw. nur mit dem Unterarm-Kontrollmittel (12) zusammenwirkenden Justierungsmittel (15) gestattet, eine anatomisch korrekte dreidimensionale Bewegung einer kinematischen Kette aus Hand (91), Unterarm (92) und Ellenbogengelenk (93) abzubilden. Sie unterstützt und kontrolliert physiologische Bewegungen im Ellbogengelenk (93) und im Handgelenk und eignet sich insbesondere zum Trainingsaufbau, bspw. bei Muskelatrophien und/oder Gelenk-Einsteifungen. Zusätzlich ermöglicht sie bei Bedarf Bewegungen, welche aus medizinischer Sicht zu Beginn einer Therapie eingeschränkt oder geblockt werden müssen, mittels Einstellvorrichtungen in ihrem erlaubten Bewegungsausmaß anzupassen, wobei gleichzeitig Bewegungsmuster, welche während der Therapie freigehalten werden können, im vollen Umfang zugelassen werden.
