Definitions
- Modem roofs are popularly composed of concrete tiles made from durable but heavy cement materials. However, these roofs are heavy and require a strong support structure. In addition, fiber cement roof tiles are strong but fragile and are heavy but lighter than concrete tiles. Currently, fiber cement or double-ridged tiles are highly popular. Another type of roof tiles beginning to be used is 100- percent ceramic roof tiles with no other components. These tiles have rough or glossy surfaces, light weight and good protection against heat. Another group of tiles is metal sheets, which are loud when rain falls. Metal sheets have the advantages of strength and durability while having disadvantages from heavy weight and high expenses.
- Corrugated plastic or polypropylene is a hard plastic sheet made from polypropylene, which is similar to corrugated paper.
- Corrugated plastic sheets are plastic sheets on two sides with the middle spaced with ridges and holes also known as feature boards.
- Feature boards are lightweight materials that can be cut for multiple uses including packaging boxes, artwork, hobbies and temporary signs, etc. Feature boards have the advantages of being light in weight and inexpensive as well as disadvantages due to a short usage life and lack of durability.
- corrugated plastic is known by trade names such as Coroplast in America, Correx in Europe, Fluteboard in Australia and Pladan in Japan. In Thailand, corrugated plastic is known as “future board”.
- Smartboards are light fiber cement board wall materials combining strength and flexibility without asbestos components.
- Smartboard components are Portland cement, cellulose fiber, silica and water.
- Smartboards are produced with autoclaves through steaming processes at high temperatures and pressure for ceiling tile work, walls and internal and external material support sheets. Smartboards have the advantages of being resistant to water, moisture, termites and bendability. Furthermore, smartboards are strong, durable and good at receiving impact. Smartboard materials combine strength and flexibility in the same material while having disadvantages due to inability to support heavy weight or severe impacts and are popularly used in light decorative work. Most of the abovementioned materials were created for specific use with different intentions and materials. Polypropylene sheets or smartboards cannot be used interchangeably.
- Polypropylene sheets or smartboards cannot be made into waves and cannot make patterns to create attractiveness and value.
- metallic materials selected from galvanized steel sheets, galvanized steel sheets with aluminum components, aluminum sheets, zinc sheets or galvanized steel sheets, galvanized steel sheets with aluminum components, aluminum sheets, zinc sheets coated or sprayed for color, or galvanized steel sheets, galvanized steel sheets with aluminum components, aluminum sheets, zinc sheets which were made to have patters or galvanized steel sheets, galvanized steel sheets with aluminum components, aluminum sheets, zinc sheets which were made to have contact surface patterns rising or falling parts and structural units obtained from one or a combination of the following materials: a. pure polypropylene; b. pure polypropylene mixed with recycled polypropylene materials; c.
- recycled polypropylene materials d. pure polypropylene mixed with calcium carbonate; e. recycled polypropylene materials mixed with calcium carbonate or f. pure polypropylene mixed with recycled polypropylene and calcium carbonate with one or a combination of the abovementioned materials having polypropylene content of 25 percent and up.
- Patterned prefabricated roof and wall sheets rearranged with metal have the following characteristics:
- the first layer with at least one layer functions as the outer surface for reflecting and protecting against heat from sunlight and rain made from structural units obtained from one or a combination of the following materials.
- the first layer has a thickness equal to or either more than or less than the second or third layer: a. Galvanized steel sheets b. Galvanized steel sheets with aluminum components c. Aluminum sheets d. Galvanized steel sheets coated or sprayed with paint to create patterns f. Aluminum sheets coated or sprayed with paint to create patterns g. Zinc sheets
- the second layer with at least one layer functions as an adhesive material between the first (metal) and third layers (plastic).
- the second layer is hot melt adhesive.
- the third layer with at least one layer functions as an adhesive material between the second and the fourth layers.
- the third layer is obtained from polyethylene material.
- the fourth layer with at least one layer functions as the lower surface for creating structural thickness made from structural units obtained from one or a combination of the following materials.
- the fourth layer has a thickness equal to or more than or less than the first layer.
- the fourth layer is arranged to have air bubbles to reduce weight and protect against heat or the fourth layer may not be made to create air bubbles: a. Pure polypropylene or; b. Pure polypropylene mixed with recycled polypropylene materials or; c. Recycled polypropylene materials or; d. Pure polypropylene mixed with calcium carbonate or; e. Recycled polypropylene materials mixed with calcium carbonate or; f. Pure polypropylene mixed with recycled polypropylene and calcium carbonate; g. Polypropylene mixed with polyethylene
- the assembly of the first and third layers is achieved by arranging and joining the layers together with the second layer as an adhesive material, particularly with hot melt adhesive.
- the assembly of the third and fourth layers is achieved by arranging and joining the layers together by melting materials to adhere to each other when liquid and using materials as smooth sheets to make prefabricated walls or make waves in order to make roofs for use in the first mode.
- the fifth layer with at least one layer functions as the lower surface for creating attractive patterns.
- the fifth layer has a thickness equal to or more than or less than the first, second, third and fourth layers made from structural units obtained from one or a combination of the following materials: a.
- the assembly of the first and third layers is achieved by arranging and joining the layers together with the second layer as an adhesive material, particularly with hot melt adhesive.
- the third, fourth and fifth layers are arranged and joined by melting materials to adhere to each other when liquid for use as smooth sheets to make prefabricated walls or make waves in order to make roofs for use in the second mode.
- the first, second, third, fourth and fifth layers will be formed by devices that separate plastic layers into sheets by the following methods:
- the first layer is transported from steel rolls.
- the second layer is transported from hot melt adhesive film rolls.
- the third layer is transported from the first plastic extruder.
- the fourth layer is transported from the second plastic extruder.
- the fifth layer is transported from the third plastic extruder.
- the first, second and third plastic extruders transport the compounds of each layer to the first feed block, which separates plastic layers into the third, fourth and fifth layers.
- Plastic layers are transported and extruded into multiple layers by the T-DIE and joined to the metal sheet from the metal roll with hot melt adhesive film sheets before being transported to the roller set to compress material layers to be tightly joined before cooling and moving on to the roller set for making roof sheets with waves or smooth roof sheets, depending on preference.
