Abstract

L'invention concerne un thermostat programmable utilisable pour programmer un thermostat de manière plus intuitive à l'aide d'un plus petit nombre de commandes. Le thermostat programmable met en place un niveau simplifié de programmation qui est intuitif et rapide, basé sur un ensemble commun de réglages, comme une programmation de repli nocturne qui baisse automatiquement la consigne de thermostat le soir et réaugmente la consigne le matin, et une programmation "cinq et deux" reflétant la semaine de travail normale de cinq jours et le weekend de deux jours, ainsi que quatre événements par jour pendant la semaine de travail mais seulement deux événements pendant les deux jours de weekend. En sacrifiant la souplesse et la personnalisation infinies de la programmation au profit du caractère efficient de l'hypothèse selon laquelle les réglages les plus courants sont suffisants pour la plupart des utilisateurs, et ces réglages les plus courants peuvent être accomplis avec un ensemble considérablement réduit de commandes intuitives, il est plus facile aux utilisateurs de faire usage de la programmation du thermostat.
