Description

The Twin Drains Containing Tray with Ability to Place in Together
This invention is in field of Human needs (A) and it is a branch of protecting foodstuffs (A23).
The drains are a kind of device that are a major component of cooking and they are commonly found in any kitchen. These drains are used in the process of washing and draining the vegetables, rice, pasta and etc. which due to their individuality, these processes have their own specific problems.
The general design of the drains is the same that everybody knows about them. These drains have many pores in their surrounding in their end section, and their upper part is completely open four pouring and removing vegetables, fruits and etc. During washing and draining, water in this drain exits through surrounding and underneath pores and prevents the accumulation of water inside the drain.
Up to now, no dramatic changes has been made to the structure of the drains and changes have only occurred in their body type or their dimensions or volume. In other words, common drains are usually made of steel, plastic, etc., and in very small to very large sizes to be used in kitchens, restaurants, etc., or in semi-circular forms, Half-cubic form and so on, but we have never seen any particular changes in the structure of the production of drains.
In the present invention, it is attempted to provide a type of drain that can, to a large extent, overcome structural problems in the production of drains and to use additional supplementary levels which make them more practical and optimum during washing, draining, and storing foodstuffs and also tried to invent more such things. It can be claimed that this type of drain has no similar sample anywhere in the world, and it is a new and innovative invention that can solve many problems with its new levels.
Technical Problem
As much as vegetables, fruits, cereals, rice, grains, and etc. could be useful for human body and transfer salts, minerals, proteins, energy, and etc. to the body, any pollution also could lead to different diseases.
In order to keep these items away from pollution and corruption, some points should be taken into consideration before consuming these stuffs that prevent the pollutants to reach them. Some of these could be observing some points in washing, draining, drying, maintaining before their usage, etc.
For example, the vegetables after being washed are very weak and fragile against pollution in case of presence of air which leads to withering, corruption, color change, etc. and in these times they could be affected by environmental factors, attract the available pollutions, and finally they would lose a lot of their properties. In turn, the required action should be performed before their consumption so that they could maintain their freshness and properties and transfer them to our body.
As usual, users after washing the vegetables perform the draining which leads to their longer durability. For draining and drying, people usually put the washed vegetables in the drains so that their water would be removed through the drain holes and in this way the color change, corruption, and etc. would be prevented. On the other hand, as we know these vegetables in such times especially after washing should not be exposed to direct air to prevent their withering, attracting pollutions, and etc. As a result, the users in time of draining vegetables usually put a tray, another drain, or etc. on the drain containing the washed vegetables so that negative events would be prevented. On the other hand, some users do not put anything on the vegetables in time of draining and drying so they could accelerate the process of draining and drying.
In the first case, maybe putting a cap prevents the direct air strike for a long time after washing the vegetables and would prevent the withering of a large part but on the other hand, this extends the time of drying process which could leads to stickiness corruption, color change and etc. in part of the vegetables. On the other hand, by not putting a cap could lead to the attraction of polluted air and their withering and this could cause the attraction of insects such as flies, mosquitoes, etc. on the vegetables, as a result the pollution and different microbes are easily transferred to these vegetables and consequently causes different diseases.
On the other hand, if the all vegetables in the plate that are washed should be drained and dried simultaneously, they should be inverted continuously during drying process. Generally, users during these times may not observe hygienic principles and invert them with their hands and this could transfer the pollution of the environment and the microbes into the vegetables, because as it was said, during these times there is the potential of attracting microbes and it is fragile and vulnerable.
Also during the vegetables draining, the users in order not to wet the beneath space of the drain, they place a tray larger than the drain beneath. In this way, the water pours into the tray during draining and it would not wet the surrounding. This would occupy a space larger than required and besides that it is not compacted view it is also could be annoying for users who have smaller places.
Up to now, no standard and suitable dishes have been produced for storing washed vegetables that could retain their freshness and prevent them from withering, corrupting, attracting pollution, color change, etc.
While washing vegetables or during draining rice, spaghetti, etc. many reasons such as direct contact of materials with water, moving them while washing and draining and etc. could break or crush them. On the other hand, some part of them which fall outside could lead to unnecessary squander. Also, this washing or draining in the traditional way could also waste the time, water, and etc.
Thinking about these items, I decided to invent a drain that could reduce the user's problems at the time of washing, draining, and storing the vegetables, fruits, and the like. This drain will prevent any kind of corruption, color change, contamination, and withering in various stages of washing, draining, drying, and storing vegetables and ... and provides convenience and easiness for users. In the present invention, it is attempted to provide a kind of drain which would be more optimized than before at the time of draining and drying vegetables and prevents the occurrence of problems, and facilitates the washing process of vegetables, rice and pasta draining, and prevents any kind of squeezing, crushing, etc. On the other hand, this drain it will occupy less space during the drying of vegetables, and will also eliminate the need to place a tray underneath the during this time.
This type of drain can also be fruitful in the quality of washing vegetables, draining rice and pasta, reduces their time, and subsequently eliminating excess water loss.
On the other hand, this type of drain can be optimally used for fresh storage of washed vegetables, fruits in the refrigerator. This invented drain will be able to keep the vegetables and fruits fresh and cool as much as they their standard without withering, corrupting, color change, etc.
When there is no need of even current drain invention, they can be used to ensure proper maintenance of all types of food, grains, fruits, and ... to optimize and adequately store these items.
Solution to Problem
To prevent washing, draining or drying, and storing vegetables, fruits, rice, pasta, grains and the like, the best way is to produce a drain that would have the capability to connect and align to another drain than in case of putting these two drains on each other, just like any other container with a door the drains would closed. In other words, in the present invention, it has been attempted to provide drains that would be two in the number, and computations would be done in their production so that they can both be completely matched, aligned, and ultimately interconnected to each other. Therefore, twin drains in the present invention have the ability to be put or connected to each other.
In this type of drain, a space has been embedded with precise measurements and proper design in which the two drain could be easily put in together. In other words, in the upper part of the drains, there are grooves that can hold another drain or to be put in another drain. As a result, when users want to close the drain doors and put them together, the two drains would be placed in together and the smaller grooves would be entered into the larger grooves which will eventually completely closes the twin drains.
These drains to be connected to each other could be with a latch or without a latch. If they do not have a latch, the users will be able to open and close them without having to open and close their cap around a particular axis. If there is a latch, the two drains will be more securely connected and the users will be able to open and close the drains around the specific axis corresponding to the position of the latches.
The latches in case of being embedded in the drains could be aligned during connection and create a kind of connected while being placed besides each other (not to really fastened). In the case of providing the capability of their alignment, the drains caps will be more durable at the times when the user connects them, part of it will be stuck in the other part of the drain, and during opening and closure time, they will rotate in the direction of the latch. In the case of the installation of a type of latch that is simply used to connect these two drains to each other without the need on locking one latch into the other one, the drains will be connected to each other in the necessary situations and users can use this capability. In case of embedding the latch in the drains, much more suitable applications would be added and consequently, performing daily work with the drains would be much more convenient and optimal for the users. For example, it is no longer necessary for the users to remove the above drain to perform their task in the container because putting the above drain in another place would occupy the space and sometimes gets polluted which with these drains the users without the need of removing them and opening the drains cap could perform their job and this while the above drain which has latches with the underneath drain. And then, they could close them in case of need without removing the connection between drains. In the case of placing the latches in the drains, these latches can be placed in different places, for example they can be placed at the highest surfaces of the drains and embed them on the surfaces relating to the grooves, so that they are in line with each other and can be connected to each other, and no disruption would be created in opening and closing their chamber and other drain chamber. In the event that users do not need to connect the latches at certain times, they are embedded in such a way that users will be able not to connect or remove the latches and use the drains and perform their tasks.
The latches can also be embedded in detachable and connected way, in other words, in the present invention, a space could be embedded for attaching or removing the latches to the drains, so that users can, if needed, fasten the latches to the drains or to remove them. To achieve this, it is possible to create a few small cavities in the appropriate section of the drains that are suitable for fitting the latches or a type of screw would be embedded to allow the latches to be tightened to the drains.
Whether if you install or do not install a latch for the drains, the users can easily disassemble and use them for washing. In other words, you can also separate each of the drains and use them individually, and wash them and also you can connect the two drains together and use them in in some other way. Therefore, each of the drains in the present invention can be used in the same way as the individual drain usage, either by interconnecting to each other or by placing in together which in both cases they have their optimum usage.
During maintenance of the drain they are designed in such a way that they can be place in together to occupy less space. Therefore, the invented drains while maintaining have unique design unlike previous drains which are much more optimal and occupy less space in storage areas. With this design, the users are being able to store the twin drains in a place provided for one drain without having to occupy undue space.
The enclosure between them can also be used, when necessary, for the maintenance of certain appliances, foodstuffs, etc., for other uses besides drain usage, and this is one of the several application of the current invention. The design and materials from which the drain will be produced are such that the inside of these drains is always dry and cool, which is why their space is also suitable for keeping all kinds of food. In other words, due to the cap and the cavities of these types of drain, they provide a suitable place for a user like a basket, where the air can pass through and its cap will prevent the entry of insects, so that these drains during storage are also a good container for storing various foods such as vegetables, fruits, potatoes, onions, etc., and they can be used for additional uses for storing some foodstuffs.
On either sides of these drains, or both sides of the grooves can be provided with handles that, if placed together would align and fit together. As a result, in order to fully align the two handles in the two drains, the length of the smaller drain handles must be increased proportionate with the larger drain, so that both handles are placed exactly on each other. Using these handles, users are being able to easily move both drains and be ensure that the two drains are tight together while in place. For the invented drains, a space for grapping or a handle for lifting or lowering each drain could be embedded.
Handles just like the latches can also be attached or detachable from the drains, so that the users will be able to attach handles to the drains at any time, and, whenever needed remove the handles from the drains.
At the end part of these drains a tray can be embedded in line with the dimensions of the drains. This tray can be different in shape like sliding tray, constant tray, and so on. If the sliding tray is embedded, in the bottom part a rail form part should be embedded so that users could easily enter and remove the trays into their own enclosure. These rails can also be embedded in such a way that, along with their basic application they would also act as a base for the twins and put them slightly upper than the surface level. These rails can also be fixed or detachable from the drains, thus allowing users to connect or detach them whenever they wish. It is also worth noting that the drawer tray can be installed on either side of the drains. This type of tray can also have a handle, so users can enter and remove it from their own enclosure without any problems. The insertion of this tray at draining time causes that the users do not occupy more space than the drain itself, without even wetting around the drains, so to easily wash the vegetables, put them inside the drains and with the bottom tray, which will be enough to accumulate vegetable water in proportion to the volume of water, you can move the drains without need of emptying the tray. These trays will come in a way that will cover the lowest cavities of the drains, and the maximum amount of water in the foodstuffs in the drains will pour into the trays during draining. For completely satisfying this purpose, along with the lower part of this type of drains some water channels are embedded so that the water flowing from the sides of the drains would pour into these channels, and from their they would pour into the embedded tray, therefore, embedding these water channels on the sides of the drains will prevent the pouring of even one percent of the water from the vegetables in the drains outside their enclosure and the place of drains during draining will never be wet. Also for other applications during the washing of vegetables, by placing this tray at the end of the drain, it is also possible to prevent the spillage of water in the dishwashing sinks to the items in the drains.
The present invention can have bases at their bottom part which so that can be placed slightly above the surface if necessary. These bases can be fixed or detachable from drains so that the user can attach or separate them if necessary. If necessary, they can even be embedded under the rails of the drains.
Each one of these drains which have the capability of interconnection could also have the same size based on height, volume, and for gracefulness and ease of use, one of drains could have has smaller height, volume, and diameter than the other. These drains can be used for a variety of applications, from the smallest standard sizes possible to very large dimensions and sizes. These drains can be produced in various forms, such as cubic, semicircular, etc. This invention can be made with standard materials such as stainless steel, plastics, etc., and can be used by everyone in the community with small budget. It is also possible to use materials resistant to heat, dust, etc. in the production of the present invention. Consequently, there are no limitations in the production of this invention, and it can be produced in any dimension, in any form, with any standard material. Therefore, these drains can be used in all kitchens, restaurants, and the like based on their forms and dimensions. It is also possible to use smaller dimensions of these drains for use instead of other containers, such as tea waste containers, etc., or use different dimensions of these drains instead of containers such as baskets.
When it is possible to connect a drain to the main drain where the food is present, it can be further optimized for various uses. This can help the user to drain more items like rice, pasta, etc., and to vegetables, fruits, and more. If these foodstuffs are contained within the enclosure of the two drain, various processes such as washing, draining, etc., could be used in less time with less water consumption, better quality, away from contamination. Also, these drains during washing and draining vegetables, rice, pasta and ... prevent throwing out of the drain.
On the other hand, the connection of the drains together during the draining, drying the vegetables, etc., can provide the necessary enough air that is required for this purpose through the uprights and underlying cavities to the vegetables and also prevents any kind of contamination, withering, insect placement, and ... on them. As a result, at the time of drying, it is no longer necessary to open their lids to move and submerging the invert the vegetables and it is possible to shake them easily when the drain lid, which itself is another drain is closed which causes that the vegetables inside the drains be moved and all of them uniformly dried at the same time at all levels during the desired time without being exposed to any kind of contamination or withering. In other words, when the drain contains washed vegetables, it has a sealed lid in the form of a drain, and it will transfer uniform air at all levels to the inside, without external contaminations being able to enter inside because of the density of vegetables and the void cavities or any kind of insect enters the interior, even without the need for some hand-held vegetables, which may contain various types of contamination, and convey them to vegetables, without collecting water at specific levels at these times that can cause discoloration and turbidity of vegetables and as a result, with the present invention, users can dry the vegetables and the like with the utmost quality in the required time for draining the vegetables.
This method, due to the fact that the path of entering high volume air and insects is completely closed, is a more facilitated way for users, who previously had not put anything on the washed vegetables and the direct air would have caused the withering and contamination of them. The users who had put lids on the drain containing washed vegetables and were trying to dry them, at some of vegetables surfaces, they have seen pale color and corruption. Similarly, the users who put a drain on other drain, due to the fact that the drains were not interconnected, from a section of the drain more air could have got inside and insect could enter the drain and contaminate the vegetables. Likewise, users who used their hands to invert the vegetables caused some contamination to their hands contaminations. Ultimately, the aligned drains on each other prevents all these deficiencies and provides the practical and hygienic quality for the users in all works such as washing and draining rice and vegetables and the like without wasting water, contaminating, occupying extra space and the like.
The drains of the present invention have different uses. For example, they could even be used to store vegetables, fruits, and so on in the refrigerator, because they have always had a cool and dry enclosure due to the type of design and materials they were produced therefore the result is very suitable for keeping these types of foods and they will be able to store them for the best possible time. Also, due to the type of design, it could put more volumes of food in them it and do things like washing, storing, drying and ... on them. Its embedded tray could also be used as a suitable tray for intended uses.
Advantageous Effects of Invention
As it was said, air and pollution could lead to withering and corruption of vegetables which are harmful for the body, but if the hygienic principles would be observed in washing, draining and storing these foodstuffs, these principles could be very useful and nutrition and minerals would be transferred to the body. As a result, this invention was presented to achieve these goals.
