Abstract
The invention relates to non-rinsable mixtures for animals with gold nanoparticles, which are added to the final product enhancing the beneficial properties of the products in a natural way. The content of gold nanoparticles varies, as well as their size, while the individual components of non-rinsable products include substances such as water, emollients, emulsifiers, natural ingredients, sunscreens, thickening agents, fragrances, colouring agents and pH regulators. Gold nanoparticles are added in the form of a colloidal solution (solid nanoparticles dispersed in aqueous phase).
Description
DESCRIPTION
NON RINSABLE MIXTURES FOR CARING ANIMALS
WITH GOLD NANOPARTICLES
FIELD OF ART
The invention relates to the field of human needs and in particular to the field of health and even more specifically to the science of veterinary medicine and in particular to preparations for veterinary use. It also refers to preparations for a specific use to protect the hair and skin of pets. It concerns specifically non-rinsable mixtures for animals with gold nanoparticles.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The non-rinsable mixtures with gold nanoparticles for treating animals disclosed in the present invention have not been disclosed in the prior art.
Animals and especially pets are an important factor in people's daily lives. So taking care of them is an essential priority for many of our fellow humans who have a pet. Numerous products have been presented to date, for caring, grooming and treating animals. Many of these products have often been developed as products for humans and are also used for animals,
either slightly modified or as such, but without taking into account the relevant differences between the species.
Known from the state of art, it is US 8715736, which discloses nanoparticle formulations for dermal delivery, but the active substances are encapsulated in lipid carrier nanoparticles. The invention presents the way in which active substances are encapsulated in organic compounds. Various applications of animal products are also known, but which contain microparticles and not nanoparticles as their component.
It is thus an object of the present invention to deal with the aforementioned disadvantages and shortcomings of the prior art by proposing non-rinsable mixtures for animals with gold nanoparticles.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide the above non-rinsable mixtures with gold nanoparticles, which contribute to a more efficient transfer/exchange of active substances when used as a delivery system.
Yet another object of the invention is to present non-rinsable mixtures with gold nanoparticles, where colloidal gold tends to activate enzymes involved in collagen synthesis, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and hydrating the skin from inside.
A further object of the invention is to present non-rinsable mixtures with gold nanoparticles, wherein the use of an emulsifier allows the
colloidal gold to be incorporated into various products such as for example aqueous or oily based formulations.
Another object of the invention is to provide an invention in which the non-rinsable mixtures with gold nanoparticles exhibit antioxidant properties that prevent the formation and accumulation of free radicals. In this way, cell aging is prevented and therefore rejuvenation of the skin is achieved.
A further advantage of the invention is the absence of biocides and preservatives in the products concerned, with the result that these products are completely environmentally friendly, as well as friendly to the final recipient.
These and other objects, features and advantages of the invention will become apparent in the following detailed description.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
Then there will be a detailed presentation of the invention through indicative embodiments of non-rinsable mixtures for animals with gold nanoparticles, in order to become apparent to those skilled in the art and to present its innovative technical characteristics.
Colloidal systems are solutions, which consist of particles measuring from 1 to 1000 nm that are kept dispersed in the solvent (continuous phase).
In these systems there is a uniform dispersion of the two substances in the colloidal system, as the particles remain dispersed in the solvent and do not precipitate.
In the case of this invention the mixtures produced are in a non- rinsable form and contain gold nanoparticles mixed but not dissolved in the mixture. The gold nanoparticles are in solid form and are added to the final product in the form of a colloidal solution. Alternatively they may be dispersed in an organic or aqueous phase. Their size is from one nanometer to 100 nanometers, a size of less than 50 nanometers or less than 10 nanometers being preferable. The intensity of their properties and their performance depends on their size, since the smaller they are, the more active they become. The concentration of gold nanoparticles is from 1 to 300 parts per million, a concentration of less than 100 parts per million or less than 20 parts per million being preferable.
The preparation of non-rinsable pet products with gold nanoparticles is done by mixing and stirring the required ingredients.
The mixed ingredients include silicones, such as decamethylcyclopentasiloxane, in a concentration from 0 to 95%, natural ingredients, such as argan oil, in a concentration from 0 to 15%, emollients, such as benzoic acid esters, in a concentration from 0 to 10% and water, in a content of 0 to 99%.
In alternative embodiments, thickening agents, such as xanthan, may be added in a content of 0 to 25%, emulsifying agents / surfactants, such as sodium lauryl ether sulfate, in a content of 0 to 20%.
In further alternative embodiments opacifying agents, such as glycol distearate, in a content of 0 to 5% and sunscreens, such as benzophenone, in a content of 0 to 35% may be added.
Further, fragrances may be contained in a content of 0 to 6%, colouring agents in a content of 0 to 6%, and pH regulators in a content of 0 to 15%. It should be noted at this point that the description of the invention has been made with reference to illustrative, but not limited to, examples. Therefore any change or modification in terms of the materials used, their percentages in the final product, the steps of application of the method of preparation of the mixtures if they are not a new inventive step and do not contribute to the technical development of the already known, are considered contained in the purposes and aspirations of the present invention as summarized in the following claims.
