Abstract

The invention relates to a rotary unit for a vehicle seat that can be rotated about its vertical axis (14), comprising a lower rotary plate (12), an upper rotary plate (11) that can be rotated relative to same and a locking cover (4) which is fixed to the lower rotary plate (12) and has at least one engaging opening (16), and comprising an engaging lever (3) which is arranged on the upper rotary plate (12), has at least one engaging tooth (15) and can be moved between an engaging position and an unlocking position, wherein the engaging opening (16) has a closed edge and the engaging tooth (15) is designed with measurements such that it fits into the engaging opening (16) with minimal clearance. The invention also relates to a crash hook (1) for a rotary unit, having a horizontally extending main body (27) in which a vertical opening (34) is provided, comprising two lateral walls (28, 29) extending in parallel downwards from the main body (27) and orientated in parallel to a longitudinal axis of the main body (27), wherein respective inward-facing rails (30) are formed at the lower ends of the lateral walls (28, 29) facing away from the main body (27), said rails gripping behind a head of a securing bolt (8) with their upward-facing fixing surfaces (31) when the rotary unit is in the travelling position, wherein an outward-facing sliding protrusion (32) is also formed on the second lateral wall (29) along with the inward-facing rail (30), which has a downward and outward-facing sliding surface (33), which is supported on a circular sliding plane (19) fixed to the lower rotary plate (12) in the assembled state. The invention further relates to a rotary unit comprising a crash hook (1) of this type, as well as to a vehicle seat comprising a rotary unit according to the invention.
