Abstract

The invention relates to the field of power engineering. The present method includes pumping gas through a system of pipelines in the requisite directions, and, if necessary, filling underground gas reservoirs with gas. Hydrogen is pumped into the pipes of a gas pipeline, and plants which run on energy from renewable energy sources are installed along the pipelines. The invention provides the possibility of producing hydrogen using many renewable energy sources, with a significant increase in the volume of hydrogen produced, and the possibility of using the claimed method in locations with different natural conditions using different forms of natural energy, thus expanding the scope of hydrogen use, the functionality of the system created, the coverage of large geographical areas with different natural conditions, and the use of gas pipeline systems on territories with all possible available renewable energy sources, and making it possible to unify a gas pipeline system or systems for transporting hydrogen produced in different places and using different renewable energy sources into a single high-capacity energy system.
