- the controller 144 includes a memory and one or more processing devices (such as a microprocessor, a CPU, etc.), such as a general-purpose or special-purpose microprocessor that can be used to execute programming instructions or micro-control codes related to the operation of the refrigeration appliance 10.
- the memory can mean random access memory such as DRAM, or read-only memory such as ROM or FLASH.
- the processor executes non-transitive programming instructions stored in the memory.
- the memory may be a separate component from the processor, or it may be included in the processor itself.
- controller 144 may be constructed without using a microprocessor, for example, using a combination of discrete analog or digital logic circuits (eg, switches, amplifiers, integrators, comparators, flip-flops, AND gates, etc.) to perform control functions , Instead of relying on software.
- discrete analog or digital logic circuits eg, switches, amplifiers, integrators, comparators, flip-flops, AND gates, etc.
- the refrigeration appliance 10 may include a handle 152 attached to the door 154.
- the storage basket lifting assembly 300 including the door 154 can be slidably installed on the box body 12. Therefore, the user can use the handle 152 to pull the storage basket lifting assembly 300 in and out of the freezer compartment 102 along the transverse direction T.
- the door 154 extends in the lateral direction L between the first side 218 and the second side 220 and extends in the vertical direction V between the top 214 and the bottom 216.
- the door 154 includes an outer surface 158 (for example, away from the box 12) and an inner surface 160 (for example, toward the box 12).
- the outer surface 158 and the inner surface 160 extend from the first side 218 to the second side along the lateral direction L.
- Two sides 220 extend.
- the door 154 can selectively cover the box opening 162, and the freezer compartment 102 can be entered through the box opening.
- the storage assembly includes a door shelf 116, a drawer 120 and a shelf 122, and the door shelf 116, the drawer 120 and the shelf 122 are installed in the fresh-keeping compartment 100.
- the door shelf 116, the drawer 120, and the shelf 122 are configured to contain food (for example, beverages or solid food), and can help organize these foods.
- FIGS. 4 to 5 various schematic diagrams of exemplary embodiments of the refrigerating appliance 10 (especially the freezing compartment 102) are provided.
- the door 154 is slidably mounted to the box body 12. Specifically, the door 154 can move along the transverse direction T between a substantially open position (FIG. 5) and a substantially closed position (FIG. 4).
- the substantially open position the main opening 162 is generally not covered, and the freezer compartment 102 can be accessed (for example, the user passes through the main opening 162).
- the closed position the main opening 162 is substantially covered, restricting access to the freezing compartment 102.
- the door 154 may be engaged with the box body 12 and span the main opening 162 in the vertical direction V and the lateral direction L (for example, see FIG. 1 ), thereby sealing at least a part of the freezer compartment 102 in the transverse direction T.
- the door 154 may be pivotally mounted to the box 12 to expose the main opening 162 when the door 154 is opened.
- the main gasket 172 is provided on or attached to the door 154 (eg, on the inner surface 160 of the door 154). When the door 154 is moved to the closed position, the door 154 can contact and press the main gasket 172 against the corresponding outer surface of the box body 12. Specifically, the main gasket 172 can be sealed against the outer surface of the box body 12 to seal the freezer compartment 102. In an alternative embodiment, the main gasket 172 may be provided on the outer surface 158 of the box body 12, and as the door 154 moves toward the closed position, the box body 12 may press the main gasket 172 against the inside of the door 154 Surface 160. More specifically, the main gasket 172 may seal against the inner surface 160 of the door 154. It should be understood that the main gasket 172 may be made of any suitable material. For example, in one embodiment, the main gasket 172 may be made of elastic rubber or plastic material.
- the storage basket lifting assembly 300 can generally lift the storage basket so as to more easily access the items contained in the basket.
- the storage basket lifting assembly 300 may include a support frame assembly 302, a storage basket 306, a first link mechanism 308, a motor 310, and a second link mechanism 312.
- driving the motor 310 can cause the first link mechanism 308 connected with the motor 310 to rotate.
- the first link mechanism 308 may be connected to the second link mechanism 312, so that the rotation of the first link mechanism 308 may cause the second link mechanism 312 to perform linear translation and pivotal rotation.
- the storage basket 306 may be further connected to the second link mechanism 312, so that the pivoting of the second link mechanism 312 may cause the storage basket 306 to be lifted.
- the support frame assembly 302 is installed on the box body 12 so that the storage basket 306 can slide along the transverse direction T to receive the freezer compartment 102. In this way, the support frame assembly 302 can be at least partially contained in the freezer compartment 102.
- the support frame assembly 302 may also include or define a horizontal guide rail 304 for supporting the second link mechanism 312, see further description below.
- the support frame assembly 302 includes a first support frame 332 that is installed (for example, fixedly installed) in the freezer compartment 102.
- the support frame assembly 302 may include a second support frame 334 slidably connected to the first support frame 332.
- the second support frame 334 can move between a retracted position inside the freezing compartment 102 (as shown in FIG. 7B) and an extended position at least partially outside the freezing compartment 102 (as shown in FIG. 7A).
- the storage basket 306 is supported by the second support frame 334 and therefore can also slide between the retracted position and the extended position.
- the support frame assembly 302 may further include a mounting frame 336.
- the mounting frame 336 is connected to the second support frame 334 and is oriented vertically.
- the mounting frame 336 may define a horizontal rail 304, see the general description of the support frame assembly 302 above, and further details will be described below.
- the storage basket lifting assembly 300 may be stationary (for example, not slidable) relative to the freezer compartment 102 (or other insulated compartment 99).
- the second support frame 334 will not be necessary, and the mounting frame 336 may be directly connected to the first support frame 332.
- the first support frame 332 and the mounting frame 336 form an integral structure, and the integral structure is installed in the freezer compartment 102 or on the door 154.
- the door 154 may be installed (for example, fixedly installed) on the support frame assembly 302.
- the second support frame 334 is connected to the door 154 and can be driven to move synchronously with the door 154. In other words, (for example, when the user opens and closes the door 154,) the second support frame 334 may slide together with the door 154.
- the storage basket 306 is included in the storage basket lifting assembly 300.
- the storage basket 306 can be slidably installed on the box body 12 to receive the freezer compartment 102.
- the storage basket 306 can be attached to the second support frame 334 so that the storage basket 306 can also be driven to move synchronously with the door 154.
- FIGS. 7A and 7B are perspective views of the storage basket lifting assembly 300, in which the storage basket 306 is omitted to facilitate unobstructed observation of the remaining parts of the storage basket lifting assembly 300.
- the storage basket lifting assembly 300 further includes a motor 310 to provide at least a part of the force required to lift the storage basket 306.
- the motor 310 adopts a self-locking worm gear box.
- the self-locking worm gear box resists the force generated by the motor 310 and reduces the rotational speed (for example, revolutions per minute) at which the motor 310 can operate.
- This resistance of the worm gear box can prevent accidental rotation of the motor, which may be caused by the applied load (for example, the weight of the storage basket 306 and its contents in the raised position).
- the reduction of the rotation speed of the motor 310 is directly converted to raising the storage basket 306 at a lower speed, thereby facilitating the safe movement of the storage basket 306.
- the motor may use other types of gearboxes known in the art consistent with this disclosure.
- the motor 310 can be attached (eg, fixedly attached) to a coupler 309, which in turn can be attached (eg, fixedly attached) to the shaft 311.
- the shaft 311 may extend through the mounting frame 336 to anchor it to the basket lifting assembly 300.
- the first link mechanism 308 may be connected to the shaft 311. In this way, the driving motor 310 can cause the coupler 309, the shaft 311 and the first link mechanism 308 to rotate. With the above-mentioned anchoring of the shaft 311, the first link mechanism 308 can be movably attached to the support frame assembly 302 (via the mounting frame 336).
- the first link mechanism 308 can also be connected to the second link mechanism 312. Any suitable connection method (for example, keyway connection) can be used.
- the second link mechanism 312 includes a first arm 314 and a second arm 320.
- the first arm 314 has a first end 316 and a second end 318.
- the second arm 320 has a first end 322 and a second end 324.
- the first end 316 of the first arm 314 can be connected to the first link mechanism 308.
- the second end 318 of the first arm 314 and the second end 324 of the second arm 320 are connected to each other at the arm joint 326, and an arm angle of less than 180 degrees is defined between the first arm 314 and the second arm 320 ( For example, fixed arm angle).
- the second end 324 of the second arm 320 is connected to the storage basket 306, as shown in the embodiment of FIG. 10, so that the storage basket 306 can be movably attached to the support frame assembly 302.
- the second link mechanism 312 further includes a guide post 330 connected to the arm joint 326 of the second link mechanism 312.
- the guide post 330 is provided between the second link mechanism 312 and the horizontal rail 304, interacts with the horizontal rail 304 and is supported by the horizontal rail 304.
- the horizontal guide rail 304 can take the form of a ridge, slot, groove, or any form suitable for supporting the guide post 330 and limiting its range of movement in the vertical direction V.
- a protective cover (not shown) can be installed above a portion of the storage basket lifting assembly 300 (for example, the support frame assembly 302) to ensure the safety and beauty of the user or prevent the moving elements of the storage basket lifting assembly 300 from jamming .
- the storage basket lifting assembly 300 may be driven by user input (for example, voice activation, button pressing, or touch screen selection).
- the user input is transmitted to the controller 144.
- the controller 144 may drive the motor 310 in an adaptive direction.
- the basket lifting mechanism 300 may start from the position shown in FIG. 8A.
- the driving motor 310 can rotate the coupler 309 and the shaft 311. The rotation of these elements can cause the first link mechanism 308 to produce a similar rotation. Since there is a connection between the first link mechanism 308 and the second link mechanism 312, the second link mechanism 312 can be forced to move.
- the second link mechanism 312 can be connected to the guide post 330 at the arm joint 326, and the movement of the guide post 330 can be restricted by the horizontal rail 304, the movement of the second link mechanism 312 can be approximately parallel to the horizontal rail 304 .
- the second link mechanism 312 can pivot around the arm joint 326 provided on the guide post 330, as shown in FIGS. 8B-8C. Due to this pivoting of the second link mechanism 312, the second arm 320 of the second link mechanism 312 can be raised.
- the storage basket 306 is attached to the second arm 320 of the second link mechanism 312 and can be raised in the same manner due to the movement of the second link mechanism 312 until it is in the raised position (FIG. 8C ).
- the storage basket 306 can be movably attached to the support frame assembly 302.
- restricting the rotation of the motor 310 enables the aforementioned storage basket lifting assembly 300 to lift and lower the storage basket 306 along a substantially straight vertical line.
- the distance that the storage basket 306 maintains a substantially vertical depends at least in part on the size of the first link mechanism 308 and the second link mechanism 312.
- the storage basket lifting assembly 300 further includes an overload protection device to ensure that the motor 310 will not be overloaded.
- the overload protection device may use a load cell (not shown), which is arranged at one or more load-bearing connections (for example, between the first link mechanism 308 and the second link mechanism 312 or the second link Between mechanism 312 and storage basket 306).
- the load cell can measure the load generated by lifting the basket 306 and its contents.
- the load cell may be configured to correlate the applied load with current consumption (for example, at the motor 310) and interrupt the driving of the motor 310 when an overload occurs.
- the basket lifting assembly 300 may further include a coil spring 340.
- the coil spring 340 may be oriented parallel to the horizontal rail 304 of the support frame assembly 302.
- the coil spring 340 may have a first end 342 and a second end 344.
- the first end 342 of the coil spring 340 can be connected to the guide post 330.
- the second end 344 of the coil spring 340 may be connected (for example, fixedly connected) to the front end 338 of the storage basket lifting assembly 300, and the front end 338 extends away from the insulated compartment 99.
- the guide post 330 When the storage basket 306 is in the lowered position, the guide post 330 may be at a position farthest from the front end 338 of the storage basket lifting assembly 300 (for example, along the transverse direction T). Therefore, when the coil spring 340 is in the extended position, a force can be exerted on the guide post 330 along the direction of the front end 338 of the basket lifting assembly 300. This force can help the motor 310 to lift the storage basket 306 and its contents, thereby reducing the torque required by the motor 310. Additionally or alternatively, when the storage basket 306 is in the raised position, the guide post 330 may be closest to the front end 338 of the storage basket lifting assembly 300. In this way, the coil spring 340 can be in the retracted position. Advantageously, the coil spring 340 can help maintain the raised position of the storage basket 306 by allowing the storage basket 306 to overcome the tension of the coil spring 340 in order to return to the lowered position.
- the storage basket lifting assembly 300 further includes a first lifting state sensor 346 and a second lifting state sensor 348.
- the first lifting state sensor 346 is installed on the support frame assembly 302 and aligned with the guide post 330 when the storage basket 306 is in the lowered position.
- the second lifting state sensor 348 is installed on the support frame assembly 302 and aligned with the guide post 330 when the storage basket 306 is in the raised position. Therefore, when the storage basket 306 is in the landing position, the guide post 330 triggers the first lifting state sensor 346, which can remind the controller 144 to stop driving the motor 310. Similarly, when the storage basket 306 is in the raised position, the guide post 330 triggers the second lifting state sensor 348, which can remind the controller 144 to stop driving the motor 310.
- the first lift state sensor 346 may be aligned with the first linkage mechanism 308 when the storage basket 306 is in the lowered position
- the second lift state sensor 348 may be aligned with the first link mechanism 308 when the storage basket 306 is in the raised position. Align with the first link mechanism 308. Similar to the previously discussed embodiment, the first lift state sensor 346 and the second lift state sensor 348 can remind the controller 344 to stop driving the motor 306 after being triggered by the first link mechanism 308.
- the first lift state sensor 346 and the second lift state sensor 348 may be limit switches.
- one or both of the first lift state sensor 346 and the second lift state sensor 348 are Hall effect sensors that sense the magnetic field of a magnet installed in, for example, the above-mentioned embodiment
- the guide post 330 or the first link mechanism 308 is on or in the middle.
- Some embodiments include additional lifting status sensors (for example, provided between the first lifting status sensor 346 and the second lifting status sensor 348), such as indicators for monitoring the position of the storage basket 306 during lifting or landing, To ensure that the process proceeds as expected.
- the storage basket lifting assembly 300 includes a slotted shaft 350 that extends vertically on the rear side 352 of the storage basket 306. Additionally or alternatively, the storage basket lifting assembly 300 may further include a storage basket lifting guide 354 installed on the support frame assembly 302. In some such embodiments, the basket lifting guide 354 includes a protrusion 356 on the front side 358 of the basket lifting guide 354. Generally, the protrusion 356 matches the slotted shaft 350. In a specific embodiment, the protrusion 356 is slidably received in the slotted shaft 350. Therefore, as the storage basket 306 moves between the lowered position and the raised position, the protrusion 356 slides within the slotted shaft 350.
- the interaction between the protrusion 356 and the slotted shaft 350 can prevent the storage basket 306 from tilting when transitioning between the raised state and the lowered state (eg, between the raised position and the lowered position).
- the slotted shaft 350 may be provided on the inner surface of the door 154 and extend vertically thereon.
- the protrusion 356 is located on the front side of the storage basket 306 and mates with the slotted shaft 350 so as to be slidably received within the slotted shaft 350 as previously described.
- this embodiment may not require the storage basket lifting guide 354.

Abstract
