  • the pressure chamber 106 in the cylinder 92 is put under high gas pressure pushing the piston 94 by its back face 108 and thus also the sliding shoe 96 together with the sliding pad 98 against the slide surface 80 of the stator beam 18 thus braking the elevator car 16 with a defined force, and maintaining the air gap between mover(s) and stator rail(s), so as to prevent an excessive deceleration which is possible when the air gap brakes down and the mover clutches to the stator beam because of the permanent magnets in the mover. Particularly relevant is this situation when the car is in upwards movement, so that the clutching and the gravitational force add up. Via the pistons the air gap is maintained and the deceleration is defined by the frictional forces between the sliders and the slide surfaces. This allows a high deceleration which maintain within the allowed range to avoid harm to passengers based on excessive deceleration, e.g . loosing floor contact.
  • the kinetic/sliding friction coefficients of the sliding pads 98 and slide surfaces 80 are substantially low compared to conventional brake pads and brake surfaces, e.g. below 0,5.
  • the trigger device (shut-off valve ) 112 is operated by the emergency stop control 72, the emergency stop control 72 energizes the shut-off valve 112 as to open it, which leads to the above slider action.
  • the trigger device 112 is operated by the emergency stop control 72 in case of over speed or other safety relevant items. Accordingly, a very strong and fast but defined braking action is achieved via this safety device 70.
  • the emergency stop control 72 is connected with a backup energy supply 74 to be able to operate the trigger device 112 also in case of mains power-off.
  • a detonator has to be energized by the emergency stop control instead or additionally to the shut-off valve 112, which detonator is preferably located in the cartridge.
  • the cartridge preferably is a one-way cartridge which has to be replaced after a detonation.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un ascenseur (10) comprenant au moins un faisceau de stator (18) présentant au moins un rail de stator (50) doté de dents de stator, ledit faisceau de stator (18) étant situé verticalement dans une cage d'ascenseur (12). L'ascenseur comprend en outre au moins une cabine d'ascenseur (16) dotée d'au moins un dispositif de déplacement (24, 26) configuré pour se déplacer le long du faisceau de stator (18) et coopérer avec les pôles ou dents du rail de stator (50) de manière à entraîner la cabine d'ascenseur (16) dans la cage d'ascenseur (12), ledit faisceau de stator (18) présentant au moins deux côtés verticaux (80) orientés dans des directions différentes, le dispositif de déplacement coopérant avec le rail de stator formant un moteur linéaire, qui est entraîné par un entraînement de moteur connecté à une commande d'ascenseur. Selon l'invention, l'ascenseur présente un agencement d'arrêt d'urgence comprenant une commande d'arrêt d'urgence (72) et un dispositif de sécurité (70) pour le dispositif de déplacement (24, 26), le dispositif de sécurité (70) comprenant un collier de support (76) entourant au moins deux côtés verticaux opposés (80) du faisceau de stator (18), lesquels côtés verticaux (80) agissant comme des surfaces de coulissement. Le collier (76) porte au moins deux coulisses (90) en regard desdites surfaces de coulissement (80) du faisceau de stator (18), chaque coulisse (90) comprenant un cylindre (92) fixé au collier (76) et un piston (94) mobile dans ledit cylindre (92) et connecté au sabot coulissant (96), ledit sabot coulissant (96) portant au moins un patin coulissant (98) faisant face à au moins l'une desdites surfaces de coulissement (80) du faisceau de stator (18), le sabot coulissant (96) étant mobile par l'intermédiaire du piston (94) avec un composant perpendiculaire à un plan de la surface de coulissement adjacente (80) du faisceau de stator (18), ledit piston (94) étant mobile par l'intermédiaire d'un mécanisme d'actionnement (82), configuré pour être déclenché au moins par l'intermédiaire de la commande d'arrêt d'urgence en cas de coupure du moteur linéaire. Par l'intermédiaire de cet agencement, l'entrefer entre le dispositif de déplacement et le rail de stator est maintenu en cas de coupure de courant et une décélération excessive de la cabine d'ascenseur est évitée.
