Les côtés des ailes et la surface de travail présentent des évidements qui, combinés à la conception du dispositif, facilitent le travail. Ledit dispositif présente en outre un élément pour attacher les cheveux de type pince qui peut être fermé pour retenir les cheveux. Le dispositif comprend enfin des éléments cylindriques de retenue mobiles pour attacher les cheveux et pour les travaux de coiffure.
