Description

A DIE CASTING MACHINE FOR VITRIFIED PRODUCTS
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to a die casting machine where casting of wash-basin, shower tray and similar vitrified products are realized and which has more than one mold with different heights.
PRIOR ART
In the casting processes of vitrified products like wash-basin, shower tray, vitrified product casting machine can be used having multiple mold system which casts pluralities of vitrified products onto the machine. However, in these vitrified product casting machines, molds are positioned orthogonally by means of a hanger system. In this case, in said vitrified product casting machine, only the production of vitrified products which must be taken from the mold at 90 degrees can be realized. For the special vitrified products which must be taken in the horizontal position, a new vitrified product casting machine must be provided.
In the known state of the art, casting machines provided for vitrified products which must be taken in the horizontal position can realize pressing by means of a mold. This leads to inefficiency in terms of labor, time and cost.
In the literature, there is the patent application with application number US5156855. Said application relates to a device used in die casting of ceramic goods like sanitary systems. According to the invention, during molding, the machine is bent by a hydraulic unit and efficiency of molding is increased and the excessive raw material is discharged.
As a result, because of all of the abovementioned problems, an improvement is required in the related technical field.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a casting machine, for eliminating the above mentioned disadvantages and for bringing new advantages to the related technical field. The main object of the present invention is to provide multiple casting of products like wash basin, shower tray, which need special pressing and which shall be taken in horizontal position, by means of more than one mold provided at different heights.
Another object of the present invention is to provide efficiency in terms of labor, time and cost thanks to casting by means of more than one mold provided at different heights.
Another object of the present invention is to provide precise pressing of upper molds in casting machine and provide elimination of mold faults and provide casting of the part with higher quality.
In order to realize the abovementioned objects and the objects which are to be deducted from the detailed description below, the present invention relates to a die casting machine comprising a chassis, an upper plate and a lower plate associated with said chassis, a first upper mold connected to the face of said upper plate facing said lower plate, a second lower mold connected to the face of the lower plate facing the upper plate, and a mold press element associated with the upper plate for providing movement to said upper plate. Accordingly, at least one casting unit is provided which has at least one intermediate plate associated with the chassis in a manner positioned between the upper plate and the lower plate and which can move simultaneously with the upper plate; and at least one first lower mold connected to the surface of said intermediate plate facing the upper plate and at least one second upper mold connected to the surface of said intermediate plate facing the lower plate. Thus, products like wash-basin, shower tray and products, which must be taken in horizontal position and which need particular pressing, can be cast in pluralities of numbers by means of more than one mold provided at different heights.
In a possible embodiment of the present invention, the surface of said mold press element which contacts onto the upper plate comprises a press plate having an inclined form in a manner applying pressure at a point. Thus, the upper plate can move in an inclined manner with small tolerances with respect to the press point, the mold faults are eliminated and the part is casted with higher quality.
In a possible embodiment of the present invention, the die casting machine comprises at least one channel which extends in the orthogonal direction on at least one wall of the chassis for providing precise movement of the upper plate and said intermediate plate, at least one bearing element comprising at least one first wheel provided on at least one side surface of the upper plate and the intermediate plate and which contacts a first edge surface of said channel and at least one second wheel which contacts a second edge surface. Thus, the molds can be opened in a sensitive manner.
In a possible embodiment of the present invention, the die casting machine comprises a first upper mold provided at the first mold and at the second mold, more than one assembly apparatus connected to the surfaces of the first lower mold, the second upper mold and the second lower mold and where a predetermined distance is provided between said assembly apparatus, more than one assembly bearing provided on the surfaces of the upper plate, the lower plate and the intermediate plate whereto the mold is to be connected and where a predetermined distance is provided in between such that said assembly apparatus can engage. Thus, assembly and disassembly of molds which can have different dimensions can be provided to the upper plate, lower plate and intermediate plate in a rapid and safe manner.
In a possible embodiment of the present invention, the die casting machine comprises a carrier plate for providing transfer of the products exiting the first mold and the second mold, an orthogonal movement mechanism which provides downward and upward movement linearly in a direction Y for providing positioning of said carrier plate in the alignment of the related mold and at least one horizontal movement mechanism for providing forward and backward movement of the carrier plate linearly in a direction X. Thus, the product, which has been formed, can be transferred to molds existing at different heights.
In a possible embodiment of the present invention, at least one truss foot structure, associated with the carrier plate and which provides forward backward movement thereof in said direction Y, is provided in said orthogonal movement mechanism. Thus, the carrier plate can be moved forwardly and backwardly in direction Y.
In a possible embodiment of the present invention, said horizontal movement mechanism comprises a movable carrier comprising a carrier plate and a lower plate provided under the carrier plate, and at least one fixed carrier positioned in the same plane with said movable carrier and where the movable carrier is rested end to end as a result of the movement of the movable carrier in the direction which is reverse to the direction X. Thus, by means of resting of the movable carrier to the fixed carrier as a result of the movement of the movable carrier in the direction which is reverse to the direction X, the products can be transferred from the movable carrier onto the fixed carrier.
In a possible embodiment of the present invention, more than one carrying element is provided which is positioned on the carrier plate and which rotates in its own axis for facilitating movement of the products in the direction which is reverse to the direction X. Thus, products can be transferred from the movable carrier onto the fixed carrier thanks to the carrying elements positioned on the carrier plate.
In a possible embodiment of the present invention, in order to facilitate movement of the products, transferred from the movable carrier, in the direction which is reverse to the direction X, at least one transfer surface is provided having more than one carrying element which rotates in its own axis and provided on said fixed carrier. Thus, the products, existing on the fixed surface, can be transferred when desired without needing manual carrying.
In a possible embodiment of the present invention, an opening is provided under said transfer surface of the fixed carrier such that the extension of said lower plate can enter. Thus, an opening is provided through which the lower plate can enter and exit during movement of the movable carrier.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In this detailed description, the subject matter die casting machine (100) is explained with references to examples without forming any restrictive effect only in order to make the subject more understandable.
In Figure 1 , a representative perspective view of the subject matter die casting machine (100) is given. The subject matter invention relates to a die casting machine (100) where casting of wash-basin, shower tray and similar vitrified products are realized and which has at least one first mold (30) and at least one second mold (40) with different heights. Said die casting machine (100) comprises a casting unit (1 ) where casting is realized into said first mold (30) and said second mold (40), and at least one product transfer unit (90) which can provide transfer of the products (94) prepared in said casting unit (1 ).
In Figure 2, a representative perspective view of the casting unit (1 ) in the subject matter die casting machine (100) is given. In the casting unit (1 ), there is a chassis (10) and an upper plate (20) and a lower plate (21 ) associated with said chassis (10). There is a first upper mold (31 ) connected to the face of said upper plate (20) facing the lower plate (21 ) and there is a second lower mold (42) connected to the face of said lower plate (21 ) facing the upper plate (20). For providing movement to the upper plate (20), there is a mold press element (50) associated onto the upper plate (20). In the die casting machine (1 ), there is at least one intermediate plate (22) positioned between the upper plate (20) and the lower plate (21 ) and which can move synchronously with the upper plate (20). A first lower mold (32) is connected to the surface of said intermediate plate (22) facing the upper plate (20) and a second upper mold (41 ) is connected to the surface of said intermediate plate (22) facing the lower plate (21 ).
In Figure 3, a representative frontal view of the casting unit (1 ) in the subject matter die casting machine (100) is given. In the casting unit (1 ), the movement of the upper plate (20) and of the intermediate plate (22) which moves synchronously with the upper plate (20) is provided by means of the mold press element (50). A press plate (51 ) is provided on the surface of the mold press element (50) which contacts the upper plate (20). As seen in Figure 4, said press plate (51 ) has an inclined form and exerts pressure at a point on the upper plate (20). Since the press plate (51 ) exerts pressure at a point, the upper plate (20) can move in an inclined manner with small tolerances with respect to the press point. Thus, the mold (30, 40) faults are eliminated and the product (94) is cast with higher quality.
In the casting unit (1 ), in order to provide synchronous movement of the upper plate (20) and the intermediate plate (22), there are bearing elements (60) on the walls (1 1 ) provided at the chassis (10). Said bearing elements (60) can have shaft (60) form or a similar form. As seen in Figure 6, in the subject matter die casting machine (100), in order to provide precise movement of the upper plate (20) and the intermediate plate (22), at least one channel (12) structure is provided which extends in the orthogonal direction on at least one wall (1 1 ) of the chassis (10). There is at least one first wheel (61 ) which contacts a first edge surface (121 ) of the channel (12) and there is at least one second wheel (62) which contacts a second edge surface (122) of the channel (12) and provided in the same alignment with said channel (12) on the side surfaces (23) of the upper plate (20) and the intermediate plate (22). Thus, the upper plate (20) and the intermediate plate (22) move precisely in a compliant manner to the movement of the press plate (51 ) which has curved form.
At least one angle providing group (80) is provided which is connected onto two mutual walls (1 1 ) in the casting machine. Thanks to said angle providing group (80), the molds (30, 40) can be provided with angles up to 15 degrees and the excessive raw material existing in the mold (30, 40) can be discharged. In the die casting machine (1 ), the assembly apparatus (71 ) seen in Figure 8 is provided in pluralities of numbers and such that there is a predetermined distance in between and it is connected onto the first upper mold (31 ), the first lower mold (32), the second upper mold (41 ) and the second lower mold (42) provided at the first mold (30) and at the second mold (40). There is more than one assembly bearing (70) provided at a predetermined distance such that said assembly apparatus (71 ) can enter and provided on the surfaces of the upper plate (20), the lower plate (21 ) and the intermediate plate (22) whereto the mold is to be connected. The assembly apparatus (71 ) are engaged to said mold assembly bearings (70), the first upper mold (31 ), the second upper mold (41 ) and the first lower mold (32) and the second lower mold (42) are connected onto the lower plate (21 ) and the intermediate plate (22). Thus, the molds (30, 40) which can have different dimensions can be assembled to and disassembled from the upper plate (20), the lower plate (21 ) and the intermediate plate (22) in a rapid and safe manner.
In the die casting machine (100), the first upper mold (31 ) and the second upper mold (41 ) are opened by means of the mold press element (50) associated with the upper plate (20) in the casting unit (1 ), and the product (94) whose casting process is completed is reached. For providing transfer of the product (94) which has completed the casting process, at least one product transfer unit (90) is positioned in front of the die casting machine (100). As seen in Figure 10, in the product transfer unit (90), there is a carrier plate (921 ) in order to provide transfer of product (94) which exits the second mold (40) and the first mold (30) opened by means of the mold press element (50). There is an orthogonal movement mechanism (93) which provides upward and downward movement linearly in a direction Y (II) for providing positioning of said carrier plate (921 ) to the alignment of the first mold (30) or the second mold (40). In order to provide forward and backward movement of the carrier plate (921 ) linearly in a direction X (I), there is at least one horizontal movement mechanism (91 ).
In Figure 1 1 , a representative lateral view where the movable carrier (920) has advanced in direction which is reverse to the direction X (I) in the product transfer unit (90) in the subject matter die casting machine (100) is given. In the die casting machine (100), the carrier plate (921 ) arrives at the alignment of the related mold (30, 40) by means of the orthogonal movement mechanism (93) in order to provide transfer of the product (94), of which the casting process is completed, from the first mold (30) and from the second mold (40) positioned one above the other in the die casting machine (100). In order to provide upwardly and downwardly movement of the carrier plate (921 ) in direction Y (II), there is at least one truss foot (931 ) structure in the orthogonal movement mechanism (93). Thanks to the truss foot (931 ), the carrier plate (921 ) is moved forwardly and backwardly in direction Y (II). In the horizontal movement mechanism (91 ) provided in the product transfer unit (90), there is a movable carrier (920) comprising the carrier plate (921 ) and a lower plate (922) provided under the carrier plate (921 ). Said movable carrier (920) can move forwardly and backwardly in direction X (I) by being moved by a drive element (923). There is at least one fixed carrier (910) positioned in the same plane with the movable carrier (920) and where the movable carrier (920) is rested end to end as a result of the movement of the movable carrier (920) in the direction which is opposite to the direction X (I). There is more than one carrying element (924) positioned on the carrier plate (921 ) and which rotates in its own axis for facilitating movement of products (94) in the direction which is opposite to said direction X (I). By means of the carrying elements (924), the products (94) are transferred from the movable carrier (920) to the fixed carrier (910). In order to provide advancing of products (94), transferred from the movable carrier (920), by means of continuing the movement of said products (94) in direction which is opposite to direction X (I), there is a transfer surface (91 1 ) having pluralities of carrying elements (924) which rotate in their own axis and provided on said fixed carrier (910). Thanks to said transfer surface (91 1 ), the products (94) existing on the fixed carrier (910) can be transferred when desired without needing to carry manually.
In the horizontal movement mechanism (91 ), there is an opening (912) provided under the transfer surface (91 1 ) in the fixed carrier (910) and which has a width such that the extension of the lower plate (922) provided under the carrier plate (921 ) enters. The lower plate (922) enters into and exits said opening (912) during the forward backward movement of the movable carrier (920) in direction X (I), and the carrier plate (921 ) is rested to the transfer surface (91 1 ). As the carrier plate (921 ) is rested to the transfer surface (91 1 ), product (94) can be transferred from the movable carrier (920) onto the fixed carrier (910). Thus, in the die casting machine (100) having the first mold (30) and the second mold (40) with different heights, transfer of the products (94) whose casting process is completed is provided.
The protection scope of the present invention is set forth in the annexed claims and cannot be restricted to the illustrative disclosures given above, under the detailed description. It is because a person skilled in the relevant art can obviously produce similar embodiments under the light of the foregoing disclosures, without departing from the main principles of the present invention.
