The present inventions relates to a food packaging comprising a printing (2) which is directly formed on the said coex film layer (1) without using glue or similar chemicals and a metallization surface (3) which is formed on the printing (2) by the spraying technique.
Description
A FOOD PACKAGING WHICH DOES NOT CONTAIN GLUES OR SIMILAR CHEMICALS AND IS 100 PERCENT RECYCLABLE
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a food packaging on which logo, pattern etc. is printed.
The invention is particularly relates to a food packaging which has a printed structure of one layer and is 100 percent recyclable as it does not contain the chemicals such as the glues + colorant inks.
State of the Art Food packaging with different properties is currently used to protect foods from external influences. In the ice cream industry, food packaging is also used to protect food against external conditions.
There are brand names and packaging images at the outer side of food packaging used for the present case, whereas there are various geometrical forms and colors in the inner side thereof, for example“M” logo as in the Magnum branded ice creams. The structure of the layer part of the subject food packaging is illustrated in the schematic drawing pertaining to the prior art.
As shown in Figure 1 , there is an intermediate chemical layer (C) which is consisted of glue and colorant between 20-micron double-face metalized OPP layer (B) and 15 micron Coex film layer (A), which comprises a printing surface (D) on the inner side of which the logo in the form of“M” is printed.
The prior art food packaging is laminated in this way to produce existing packages. This packaging contains chemicals such as glue, colorant ink, and cannot be recycled.
For example, the logo“M” is applied to the backside of the double-face metalized OPP layer (B) and takes its form by adding colorant ink into glue during the lamination with a 15-micron Coex film layer.
Since there remain glue and colorant residues in this product, recycling is not performed completely. In summary, the product is a double-face printed product, which is produced as 20MetCoex / Glue / 15Coex.
Consequently, the existence of the problems of the above packaging structure and the insufficiency of the existing solutions necessitated an improvement in the relevant technical field.
The Purpose of the Invention
Starting from the state of the art, the main object of the invention is to obtain a food packaging which is 100 percent recyclable, which provides advantages by eliminating the disadvantages of the prior art.
Another main object of the invention is to develop a food packaging of a printed single-layer structure, which is a 100 percent recyclable due to its nature which does not contain chemicals such as glue + colorant ink.
Another main object of the invention is to develop a food package which allows double-direction printing on a single ply coex film layer and can be recycled more easily since it does not contain glue and similar chemicals and thereby has not composite structure.
Another main object of the invention is to ensure that no printing is made on the surface to be contacted with the product due to the special printed single ply structure of the packaging according to the invention. For this reason, it is a hygienic packaging, which is suitable for food conditions.
Another main object of the invention is to ensure that the product is environmentally sensitive and recyclable as the glue and the like chemicals are eliminated in contrast to the two-layer structure.
Another main object of the invention is to fulfill the customer’s important requests, as it is single-layered and recyclable.

Detailed Description of the Invention
A schematic view showing the layer structure of a prior art food package (Prior Art) is presented in Figure 1.
As explained in the prior art part above, the prior art food packaging contains an intermediate chemical layer (C) which is consisted of glue and colorant between 20 micron double-face metalized OPP layer (B) and 15 micron Coex film layer (A), which comprise a printing surface (D) on the inner side of which various logos are printed. The prior art food packaging is laminated in this way and produced as being two-
layered and being composited. As this packaging contains chemicals such as glue, colorant ink, 100 percent recyclability cannot be obtained.
A schematic view showing the layer structure of the food packaging according to the invention is presented in Figure 2. Food packaging contains a coex film layer (1 ) of different thickness, preferably 30-35 microns in thickness. Thanks to the single layer structure of the food packaging according to the invention, it is not necessary to add glue + ink and similar chemical in-between as in the prior art. The printing (2) containing the desired logo or pattern is formed directly on the coex film layer (1 ). Finally, the metallization surface (3) is formed on the printing (2) by the spraying technique.
The subject food packaging (2) is 100 percent recyclable as it has single-ply coex film layer (1 ) of printing (2) and does not contain the chemicals such as glues, colorant inks. A food packaging has been obtained in a structure which enables double-direction printing (2) on a single ply coex film layer (1) and which can be recycled more easily since it does not contain glue and similar chemicals and thereby has not composite structure.
Furthermore, a hygienic packaging, which is compatible with the food conditions, is provided by ensuring that no printing is made on the surface to be contacted with the product due to the special printed single ply structure of the packaging according to the invention. Additionally, it is ensured that the product is environmentally sensitive and recyclable as the glue and the like chemicals are eliminated in contrast to the two-ply structure.
The product of the present invention is made into a final product by performing printing-slitting process as being internally printed in its own multi-layer structure. Laminate bonding process of different surfaces is eliminated.
