Description

プッシュスイッチ
 本発明は、プッシュスイッチに関する。
 従来、各種電子機器等に用いられるプッシュスイッチにおいて、一の操作部材による2段階の押圧操作により、2つのスイッチを段階的に押圧できるようにした技術が用いられている。
 例えば、下記特許文献1には、絶縁基板上に、2つのクリックばね(すなわち、可動接点部材)と、2つのクリックばねに跨る押圧部材とを設け、押圧部材上における2つのクリックばねのいずれかに偏る位置を押圧することにより、2つのクリックばねを段階的に押圧できるようにした技術が開示されている。

 しかしながら、特許文献1の技術では、押圧部材に対する押圧位置を適切に調整する必要があり、このような押圧位置の調整が適切になされていないと、適切な押圧力で2つのクリックばねが押圧されなかったり、2つのクリックばねが並ぶ方向とは異なる方向に押圧部材が傾いてしまう等、2つのクリックばねを好適な加重特性で段階的に押圧することができなくなる虞がある。
 一実施形態のプッシュスイッチは、上方に開口した収容空間を有するハウジングと、収容空間の内部底面に第1の方向に沿って並べて設けられた第1の固定接点部および第2の固定接点部と、第1の固定接点部の上方に配置され、ドーム状に形成され上方から押圧されて反転動作することで第1の固定接点部と第1のスイッチ接続を行う第1の可動接点部材と、第2の固定接点部の上方に配置され、ドーム状に形成され上方から押圧されて反転動作することで第2の固定接点部と第2のスイッチ接続を行う第2の可動接点部材と、第1の可動接点部材および第2の可動接点部材の上方に配置され、第1の可動接点部材および第2の可動接点部材を同時に押圧可能な第1の押圧部材と、を備え、第1の可動接点部材および第2の可動接点部材のいずれか一方が他方よりも早く反転動作を行うプッシュスイッチであって、第1の押圧部材は、第1の方向における両端に、第1のガイド部を有し、ハウジングは、第1の方向において互いに対向する収容空間の内壁のそれぞれに、第1のガイド部と係合可能で上下方向に延設された第2のガイド部を有し、第1の押圧部材は、第1のガイド部が第2のガイド部に係合した状態で、第2のガイド部に沿って上下動可能である。
 一実施形態によれば、2つの稼動接点部材を好適な加重特性で段階的に押圧することが可能なプッシュスイッチを提供することができる。

 以下、図面を参照して、一実施形態について説明する。なお、以降の説明では、便宜上、図中Z軸正方向を上方とし、図中Z軸負方向を下方とする。
 (プッシュスイッチ100の概要)
 図1は、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100の外観斜視図である。図2は、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100の平面図である。図1および図2に示すように、プッシュスイッチ100は、上方からの平面視において概ね正方形状(より詳細には、正方形状の各角部が面取りされることにより形成される八角形状)をなし、且つ、当該正方形状の各辺の長さよりも、Z軸方向の高さ寸法が小さい、概ね薄型の直方体形状を有している。
 プッシュスイッチ100は、概ね薄型の直方体形状を有するハウジング110と、ハウジング110の上面にレーザ溶着された薄板状のインシュレータ120とを有する。インシュレータ120の中央部には、上方に向って僅かに突出したドーム状の操作部120Aが設けられている。インシュレータ120は、弾性素材が用いられて形成される。これにより、操作部120Aは、ユーザからの押圧操作に伴って、上下方向に弾性変形可能である。
 ハウジング110の一方の側面(図中X軸負側の側面)には、プッシュスイッチ100を外部に電気的に接続するための、外部接続端子112A,112Bが露出して設けられている。ハウジング110の他方の側面(図中X軸正側の側面)には、プッシュスイッチ100を外部に電気的に接続するための、外部接続端子112C,112Dが露出して設けられている。外部接続端子112Bおよび外部接続端子112Cは、互いに一体的に形成されており、すなわち、互いに常に電気的に接続した状態となっている。本実施形態のプッシュスイッチ100においては、外部接続端子112Bおよび外部接続端子112Cと外部接続端子112Aとの電気的な接続状態の切り替えと、外部接続端子112Bおよび外部接続端子112Cと外部接続端子112Dとの電気的な接続状態の切り替えと、を行うことによりプッシュスイッチとしてのオン/オフ状態を切り替えることが出来る。なお、電気的に接続されている状態(導通状態)をオン状態とする。
 プッシュスイッチ100は、操作部120Aの押圧操作による、2段階のスイッチ操作が可能である。具体的には、プッシュスイッチ100は、操作部120Aが押圧操作されていない状態において、オフ状態となり、外部接続端子112Aと、外部接続端子112Dとが、いずれも、外部接続端子112B,112Cと非導通状態となる。
 そして、プッシュスイッチ100は、操作部120Aがユーザによって第1のストローク量の押圧操作がなされると、ハウジング110の内部に設けられた第1のメタルコンタクト150(図3参照)が弾性変形し、その後反転動作することにより、外部接続端子112Aと、外部接続端子112B,112Cとが導通する第1のオン状態となる。
 さらに、プッシュスイッチ100は、操作部120Aがユーザによって第2のストローク量(但し、第2のストローク量>第1のストローク量)の押圧操作がなされると、ハウジング110の内部に設けられた第2のメタルコンタクト160が弾性変形し、その後反転動作することにより、外部接続端子112Dと、外部接続端子112B,112Cとが導通する第2のオン状態となる。なお、第2のオン状態に切り替わっても、第1のオン状態は保持されたままである。
 なお、プッシュスイッチ100は、ユーザによる操作部120Aの押圧操作から解放されると、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160の弾性復帰力により、自動的に元の状態に復帰する。これにより、プッシュスイッチ100は、自動的にオフ状態となる。
 (プッシュスイッチ100の構成)
 図3は、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100の分解斜視図である。図4は、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100のA-A断面線(図1参照)による斜視断面図である。図3に示すように、プッシュスイッチ100は、図中上方から順に、インシュレータ120、第2のステム130、第1のステム140、第1のメタルコンタクト150、第2のメタルコンタクト160、およびハウジング110を備える。
 インシュレータ120は、ハウジング110の上面に設けられ、且つ弾性素材(例えば、ナイロン、シリコン、ゴム等)からなる、薄板状の部材である。インシュレータ120は、レーザ溶着により、その外周縁部がハウジング110の上面に固着される。インシュレータ120は、ハウジング110の上面に設けられることにより、ハウジング110の収容空間110Aの内部に各構成部品(第2のステム130、第1のステム140、第1のメタルコンタクト150、および第2のメタルコンタクト160)が収容された状態で、収容空間110Aの上部開口を閉塞する。上記したとおり、インシュレータ120の中央部には、押圧操作がなされるドーム状の操作部120Aが設けられている。
 第2のステム130は、「第2の押圧部材」の一例である。第2のステム130は、インシュレータ120と第1のステム140との間に介在する、平板状の部材である。第2のステム130は、操作部120Aの押圧操作がなされたときに、操作部120Aに加えられた押圧力を受けて下方へ移動することにより、第1のステム140の上部中央(一対の突起部142,144の中点位置)を押圧することができる。例えば、第2のステム130は、比較的硬質な絶縁性素材(例えば、硬質樹脂等)が用いられて形成される。なお、第2のステム130は、当該第2のステム130が収容されるハウジング110の収容空間110Aと同様に、上方からの平面視において八角形状を有している。
 図3および図4に示すように、第2のステム130の上面における中央部には、湾曲した凸状の上側凸状部132が形成されている。また、第2のステム130の下面における中央部には、下側凸状部134が形成されている。第2のステム130は、上側凸状部132により、操作部120Aに加えられた押圧力を受け取り、下側凸状部134により、当該押圧力を、第1のステム140の上部中央に対して局所的に伝達することができる。例えば、第2のステム130は、操作部120Aの中心から外れた位置に対する押圧操作がなされた場合や、操作部120Aに対して斜め方向に押圧操作がなされた場合であっても、第1のステム140の上面中央を、確実に押圧することができる。
 第1のステム140は、「第1の押圧部材」の一例である。第1のステム140は、第2のステム130と、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160との間に介在する、平板状の部材である。第1のステム140は、操作部120Aの押圧操作がなされたときに、操作部120Aに加えられた押圧力を、第2のステム130から受け取り、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160へ伝達する。これにより、第1のステム140は、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160を、同時に同じ荷重がかかるように押圧する。ここで、第1のメタルコンタクト150は、第2のメタルコンタクト160よりも、反転動作を開始する押圧力が小さい。このため、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160が同じ荷重で押圧されることにより、先に第1のメタルコンタクト150が反転動作を行い、次に第2のメタルコンタクト160が反転動作を行う。そのため、第1のステム140は、先に、第1のメタルコンタクト150と第2のメタルコンタクト160とが並ぶ方向(以下、「第1の方向」と示す)における第1のメタルコンタクト150側に傾倒し、次に、第1の方向における第2のメタルコンタクト160側に傾倒する。例えば、第1のステム140は、比較的硬質な絶縁性素材(例えば、硬質樹脂等)が用いられて形成される。なお、第1のステム140は、当該第1のステム140が収容されるハウジング110の収容空間110Aと同様に、上方からの平面視において八角形状を有している。
 図4に示すように、第1のステム140の底面には、第1の突起部142および第2の突起部144が、水平方向(ハウジング110の対角線に沿った方向)に並べて設けられている。第1の突起部142は、湾曲した凸状をなしており、その頂部が第1のメタルコンタクト150の頂部と接触する位置に設けられている。第2の突起部144は、湾曲した凸状をなしており、その頂部が第2のメタルコンタクト160の頂部と接触する位置に設けられている。すなわち、第1のステム140は、第1の突起部142および第2の突起部144によって、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160の各々の頂部を、確実に押圧することができる。なお、上方からの平面視において、第1のステム140の上面中央は、第1の突起部142と第2の突起部144とを結ぶ線分の中点と重なる位置にある。
 第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160は、第1のステム140の下側、且つ、ハウジング110の収容空間110Aの底部において、水平方向(ハウジング110の対角線に沿った方向)に並べて設けられる。第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160は、金属板から形成される、上方に凸状のドーム状の部材である。
 第1のメタルコンタクト150は、「第1の可動接点部材」の一例である。第1のメタルコンタクト150は、その外周縁部が収容空間110Aの底部に設けられた第1の固定接点114Aと接触した状態で、収容空間110Aの底部に配置される。第1のメタルコンタクト150は、操作部120Aに対する第1のストローク量の押圧操作がなされたとき、頂部(中央部)が第1のステム140の第1の突起部142によって下方へ押圧されることにより、所定の第1の操作荷重を超えると急激に頂部が凹状に弾性変形(反転動作)する。これにより、第1のメタルコンタクト150は、その頂部の裏側の部分で収容空間110Aの底部に設けられた第2の固定接点114Bと接触する。これにより、第1のメタルコンタクト150は、第1の固定接点114Aと第2の固定接点114Bとを互いに導通させる、第1のスイッチ接続を行う。第1の固定接点114Aおよび第2の固定接点114Bは、「第1の固定接点部」の一例である。
 第2のメタルコンタクト160は、「第2の可動接点部材」の一例である。第2のメタルコンタクト160は、その外周縁部が収容空間110Aの底部に設けられた第3の固定接点114Cと接触した状態で、収容空間110Aの底部に配置される。第2のメタルコンタクト160は、操作部120Aに対する第2のストローク量の押圧操作がなされたとき、頂部(中央部)が第1のステム140の第2の突起部144によって下方へ押圧されることにより、所定の第2の操作荷重(但し、第2の操作荷重>第1の操作荷重)を超えると急激に頂部が凹状に弾性変形(反転動作)する。これにより、第2のメタルコンタクト160は、その頂部の裏側の部分で収容空間110Aの底部に設けられた第4の固定接点114Dと接触する。これにより、第2のメタルコンタクト160は、第3の固定接点114Cと第4の固定接点114Dとを互いに導通させる、第2のスイッチ接続を行う。第3の固定接点114Cおよび第4の固定接点114Dは、「第2の固定接点部」の一例である。
 第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160は、バネ性を有しているため、第1のステム140からの押圧力から解放されたときに、反発力によって元の凸状に復帰する。
 第1のメタルコンタクト150は、第1の操作荷重が加えられたときに、反転動作する。このとき、第1のメタルコンタクト150は、操作荷重が急激に変化するため、押圧操作に対して、クリック感を与えることができる。
 一方、第2のメタルコンタクト160は、第2の操作荷重(但し、第2の操作荷重>第1の操作荷重)が加えられたときに、反転動作する。このとき、第2のメタルコンタクト160は、操作荷重が急激に変化するため、押圧操作に対して、クリック感を与えることができる。
 すなわち、本実施形態のプッシュスイッチ100は、操作部120Aの押圧操作による操作荷重が第1の操作荷重を超えたときに、第1のメタルコンタクト150が反転動作し、操作部120Aの押圧操作による操作荷重が第2の操作荷重を超えたときに、第2のメタルコンタクト160が反転動作し、これにより、2段階のスイッチ操作が可能となっている。
 なお、本実施形態では、第2のメタルコンタクト160が、同形状の2枚の金属板が重ね合わされた積層構造を有している。より具体的には、第2のメタルコンタクト160は、第1のメタルコンタクト150と同形状でかつ同じ機械的特性を備えた金属板ばねが2枚重ね合わせられることによって構成されている。これにより、第2のメタルコンタクト160は、第2の操作荷重を超えたときに反転するように、第1のメタルコンタクト150よりも反転動作を行うときの操作荷重が高められたものとなっている。
 ハウジング110は、概ね薄型の直方体形状を有する容器状の部材である。ハウジング110は、上部が開口した収容空間110Aが形成されている。収容空間110A内には、第2のステム130、第1のステム140、第1のメタルコンタクト150、および第2のメタルコンタクト160が収容される。例えば、ハウジング110は、比較的硬質な絶縁性素材(例えば、硬質樹脂等)が用いられて形成される。

 図5~図8は、一実施形態に係るハウジング110における収容空間110Aの内部構造を示す平面図である。
 図5~図8では、第1の対角線L1および第2の対角線L2が示されている。第1の対角線L1は、ハウジング110の図中Y軸正側且つ図中X軸負側の角部と、ハウジング110の図中Y軸負側且つ図中X軸正側の角部とを結ぶ直線である。一方、第2の対角線L2は、ハウジング110の図中Y軸正側且つ図中X軸正側の角部と、ハウジング110の図中Y軸負側且つ図中X軸負側の角部とを結ぶ直線であり、第1の対角線L1と直交する直線である。
 図5は、構成部品が配置されていない状態の収容空間110Aを表している。図5に示すように、ハウジング110における収容空間110A内の底面には、第1の対角線L1上に並べて、2つの凹部118A,118Bが形成されている。凹部118Aにおいては、第1の固定接点114Aおよび第2の固定接点114Bが露出している。凹部118Bにおいては、第3の固定接点114Cおよび第4の固定接点114Dが露出している。
 図6は、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160が配置された状態の収容空間110Aを表している。図6に示すように、凹部118Aには、第1のメタルコンタクト150が配置される。このとき、第1のメタルコンタクト150は、その長手方向における両端部において、第1の固定接点114Aに接触する。そして、第1のメタルコンタクト150は、その中央部が反転したとき、第2の固定接点114Bとさらに接触して、第1の固定接点114Aおよび第2の固定接点114Bを互いに導通させることができる。
 また、凹部118Bには、第2のメタルコンタクト160が配置される。このとき、第2のメタルコンタクト160は、その長手方向における両端部において、第3の固定接点114Cに接触する。そして、第2のメタルコンタクト160は、その中央部が反転したとき、第4の固定接点114Dとさらに接触して、第3の固定接点114Cおよび第4の固定接点114Dを互いに導通させることができる。
 なお、第1のメタルコンタクト150は、凹部118Aと略同形状である。また、第2のメタルコンタクト160は、凹部118Bと略同形状である。これにより、ハウジング110は、収容空間110A内の底面に対する、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160の設置および位置決めを容易に行うことができるようになっている。
 図6に示すように、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160は、第1の対角線L1上に並べて配置されている。第1の対角線L1上に並べて配置することで、限られたスペース内により大きなサイズの第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160を効率的に配置することが出来できる。また、配置する第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160のサイズをより大きくできるので、動作寿命の長寿命化の効果もある。さらに、第1のメタルコンタクト150は、第1の対角線L1に沿った方向における両サイド部分に、第2の対角線L2に沿って直線状に切断された、サイドカット加工がなされている。同様に、第2のメタルコンタクト160は、第1の対角線L1に沿った方向における両サイド部分に、第2の対角線L2に沿って直線状に切断された、サイドカット加工がなされている。これにより、本実施形態のプッシュスイッチ100は、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160を、平面視で円形の場合に比べて、第1の対角線L1上に互いに近接して並べて配置することができる。したがって、本実施形態のプッシュスイッチ100によれば、ハウジング110の小型化を実現することができる。
 図7は、さらに第1のステム140が配置された状態の収容空間110Aを表している。図8は、さらに第2のステム130が配置された状態の収容空間110Aを表している。図7および図8に示すように、ハウジング110における収容空間110Aの内壁面には、第1の対角線L1上となる位置に、一対のガイド溝116が形成されている。また、第1のステム140には、第1の対角線L1上に位置する両端部に、一対のガイド部146(「第1のガイド部」の一例)が設けられている。そして、図7に示すように、一対のガイド部146の各々は、一対のガイド溝116(「第2のガイド部」の一例)の各々に、上下方向に摺動可能に配置される。これにより、第1のステム140は、上下方向への移動、および、第1の対角線L1に沿った方向への傾倒が、一対のガイド溝116によってガイドされる。また、第1のステム140は、第2の対角線L2に沿った方向への移動、および、第2の対角線L2に沿った方向への傾倒が、一対のガイド溝116によって規制される。
 (第2のステム130および第1のステム140の形状)
 図9は、一実施形態に係る第2のステム130および第1のステム140の下方からの外観斜視図である。
 図9に示すように、第1のステム140の下面には、第1の突起部142および第2の突起部144が、ハウジング110の第1の対角線L1(図5参照)に沿って並べて設けられている。これにより、第1のステム140は、第1の突起部142によって第1のメタルコンタクト150を押圧すると同時に、第2の突起部144によって第2のメタルコンタクト160を押圧できるようになっている。そして、第1のステム140は、先に、第1のメタルコンタクト150が反転動作を行うことにより、第1の対角線L1に沿った一方の方向(図中矢印D1方向)に傾倒し、次に、第2のメタルコンタクト160が反転動作を行うことにより、第1の対角線L1に沿った他方の方向(図中矢印D2方向)に傾倒することができる。
 また、図9に示すように、第2のステム130の下面の第1の対角線L1に沿った方向における中央部には、下側凸状部134が形成されている。下側凸状部134は、ハウジング110の第2の対角線L2(図5参照)に沿って延在する長手形状を有しており、且つ、その表面が、ハウジング110の第1の対角線L1に沿った方向に湾曲している。下側凸状部134は、第1のステム140の上面と当接することにより、当該下側凸状部134が支点(すなわち、回転軸)となって、第1のステム140を第1の対角線L1に沿った方向に傾倒し易くするとともに、第1のステム140を第2の対角線L2に沿った方向に傾倒し難くすることができる。
 また、図9に示すように、第1のステム140は、第1の対角線L1に沿った方向(すなわち、第1の方向)における両端部に、一対のガイド部146を有する。一対のガイド部146の各々は、上下方向に延在する概ね四角柱状をなしており、ハウジング110の収容空間110Aの内壁面に形成された一対のガイド溝116の各々の内部に、上下方向に摺動可能に配置される(図7参照)。一対のガイド部146の各々は、一対のガイド溝116の各々の内部を上下方向に摺動することにより、第1のステム140の第1の対角線L1に沿った方向への傾倒をガイドすることができるとともに、第1のステム140の第2の対角線L2に沿った方向(すなわち、第2の方向)への傾倒を規制することができる。また、一対のガイド部146の各々は、第1の対角線L1に沿った方向(すなわち、第1の方向)における外側端面146Aは、上方へ向かうにしたがって内側へ傾斜した面となっている。この様な形状にすることで、第1の対角線L1に沿った方向における第1のステム140の長さを長くしても、第1のステム140が傾倒した時にガイド溝116の内壁面に接触し難くなる。第1の対角線L1に沿った方向における第1のステム140の長さを長く出来ることでより安定したガイドが可能となる。なお、本実施形態のガイド部146の外側端面146Aは、第2の対角線L2に沿った方向から見た時に、円弧状となるような曲面を形成しているが、ガイド溝116に接触しなければ平面であってもよい。
 (プッシュスイッチ100の動作)
 図10~図12は、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100の動作を説明するためのA-A断面線(図1参照)による断面図である。
 図10は、プッシュスイッチ100の押圧操作がなされていない状態(すなわち、オフ状態)を表している。図10に示すように、プッシュスイッチ100がオフ状態のとき、第1のステム140は、水平状態となっている。また、第1のステム140の第1の突起部142は、第1のメタルコンタクト150と接触しており、第1のステム140の第2の突起部144は、第2のメタルコンタクト160と接触している。また、第1のメタルコンタクト150は、非反転状態であり、よって、第2の固定接点114Bと接触していない。また、第2のメタルコンタクト160は、非反転状態であり、よって、第4の固定接点114Dと接触していない。
 図11は、プッシュスイッチ100の第1のストローク量の押圧操作がなされた状態(すなわち、第1のオン状態)を表している。図11に示すように、プッシュスイッチ100は、操作部120Aに対する押圧操作の操作荷重が第1の操作荷重を超えると、第1のメタルコンタクト150が、反転動作を行う。これにより、第1のメタルコンタクト150は、第2の固定接点114Bと接触し、第1の固定接点114Aと第2の固定接点114Bとを互いに導通させる。また、第1のメタルコンタクト150が反転状態となることにより、第1のステム140は、第1の方向における第1のメタルコンタクト150側に傾倒する。これにより、第1のステム140は、第1のメタルコンタクト150側のみが下がった状態となり、よって、第1のメタルコンタクト150側に傾いた状態となる。
 プッシュスイッチ100がオフ状態から第1のオン状態となるとき、操作部120Aのストローク量(第1のストローク量)は、第1のメタルコンタクト150の頂点と第2のメタルコンタクト160との間の中点の移動量となる。このため、操作部120Aのストローク量(第1のストローク量)は、第1のメタルコンタクト150の頂点のストローク量の半分となる。これは、第1のステム140と第2のメタルコンタクト160との接触点が支点、第1のステム140と第1のメタルコンタクト150との接触点が作用点、第1のメタルコンタクト150の頂点と第2のメタルコンタクト160との間の中点位置(下側凸状部134と第1のステム140の上面との接触位置)が力点という関係にあり、支点と力点の距離:支点と作用点との距離=1:2であるためである。例えば、第1のメタルコンタクト150の頂点のストローク量が「1.0mm」の場合、操作部120Aのストローク量(第1のストローク量)は、「0.5mm」となる。
 また、プッシュスイッチ100がオフ状態から第1のオン状態となるとき、第1のステム140と第2のメタルコンタクト160との接触点を支点とし、第1のステム140と第1のメタルコンタクト150との接触点を作用点として、てこの原理により、第1のメタルコンタクト150を反転動作させることができる。すなわち、本実施形態のプッシュスイッチ100は、オフ状態から第1のオン状態となるときの、押圧操作のショートストローク化を実現することができる。
 図12は、プッシュスイッチ100の第2のストローク量の押圧操作がなされた状態(すなわち、第2のオン状態)を表している。図12に示すように、プッシュスイッチ100は、操作部120Aに対する押圧操作の操作荷重が第2の操作荷重を超えると、さらに、第2のメタルコンタクト160が、反転動作を行う。これにより、第2のメタルコンタクト160は、第4の固定接点114Dと接触し、第3の固定接点114Cと第4の固定接点114Dとを互いに導通させる。また、第2のメタルコンタクト160が反転状態となることにより、第1のステム140は、第1の方向における第2のメタルコンタクト160側に傾倒する。これにより、第1のステム140は、第1のメタルコンタクト150側と第2のメタルコンタクト160側との双方が下がった状態となり、よって、水平状態となる。
 プッシュスイッチ100が第1のオン状態から第2のオン状態となるとき、操作部120Aのストローク量(第2のストローク量-第1のストローク量)は、第1のメタルコンタクト150の頂点と第2のメタルコンタクト160との間の中点の移動量となる。このため、操作部120Aのストローク量(第2のストローク量-第1のストローク量)は、第2のメタルコンタクト160の頂点のストローク量の半分となる。例えば、第2のメタルコンタクト160の頂点のストローク量が「1.0mm」の場合、操作部120Aのストローク量(第2のストローク量-第1のストローク量)は、「0.5mm」となる。
 また、プッシュスイッチ100が第1のオン状態から第2のオン状態となるとき、第1のステム140と第1のメタルコンタクト150との接触点を支点とし、第1のステム140と第2のメタルコンタクト160との接触点を作用点として、てこの原理により、第2のメタルコンタクト160を反転動作させることができる。すなわち、本実施形態のプッシュスイッチ100は、第1のオン状態から第2のオン状態となるときの、押圧操作のショートストローク化を実現することができる。
 (プッシュスイッチ100の荷重特性)
 図13は、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100の荷重特性の一例を示す図である。
 図13に示すように、操作部120Aの下方への押圧操作が開始されると、押圧操作のストローク量が増加するにつれて、押圧操作の操作荷重が徐々に増加する。そして、押圧操作の操作荷重が第1の操作荷重を超えたとき(タイミングt1)、第1のメタルコンタクト150が、第1のステム140の第1の突起部142から受けた押圧力により、頂部が凹状に変形するように急激に反転する。これにより、第1のメタルコンタクト150の中央部が第2の固定接点114Bと接触し、第1の固定接点114Aおよび第2の固定接点114Bが、第1のメタルコンタクト150を介して互いに導通することとなる。このとき、押圧操作の操作荷重は、第1のメタルコンタクト150の反転により、急激に低下する。これにより、押圧操作には、クリック操作感が呈示される。
 その後、さらに押圧操作のストローク量が増加するにつれて、押圧操作の操作荷重が徐々に増加する。そして、押圧操作の操作荷重が第2の操作荷重を超えたとき(タイミングt2)、第2のメタルコンタクト160が、第1のステム140の第2の突起部144から受けた押圧力により、頂部が凹状に変形するように急激に反転する。これにより、第2のメタルコンタクト160の中央部が第4の固定接点114Dと接触し、第3の固定接点114Cおよび第4の固定接点114Dが、第2のメタルコンタクト160を介して互いに導通することとなる。このとき、押圧操作の操作荷重は、第2のメタルコンタクト160の反転により、急激に低下する。これにより、押圧操作には、クリック操作感が呈示される。
 (プッシュスイッチ100の荷重特性の変形例)
 図14は、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100の荷重特性の変形例を示す図である。図14に示す例では、図13に示す例と比較して、第1のメタルコンタクト150の仕様を変更したことにより、タイミングt1における押圧操作の操作荷重の急激な低下が生じないようになっている。一方、図14に示す例では、第1のメタルコンタクト150の仕様を変更しないことにより、図13に示す例と同様に、タイミングt2における押圧操作の操作荷重の急激な低下が生じるようになっている。このように、本実施形態のプッシュスイッチ100は、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160を用いているため、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160のいずれか一方または双方の仕様を変更することで、多様な操作荷重特性を容易に実現することができる。これは、本実施形態では、操作荷重特性の異なる第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160を用い、上方から平面視した時に、第1のステム140の第1のメタルコンタクト150と第2のメタルコンタクト160との中点位置に重なる箇所を押圧する(力点とする)構造にしているためである。仮に、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160の操作荷重特性が同じで、いずれかが先に反転動作させるためには、力点の位置を都度調整する必要があり、バリエーションごとに形状が異なる第1のステム140や第2のステム130などを複数種類準備する必要が出てくる。これに対して、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160の操作荷重特性の調整は、プレス加工の絞り量の調整で行うことが出来るため、容易に対応しやすい。
 以上説明したように、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100は、上方に開口した収容空間110Aを有するハウジング110と、収容空間110Aの内部底面に第1の方向に沿って並べて設けられた第1の固定接点部および第2の固定接点部と、第1の固定接点部の上方に配置され、ドーム状に形成され上方から押圧されて反転動作することで第1の固定接点部と第1のスイッチ接続を行う第1のメタルコンタクト150と、第2の固定接点部の上方に配置され、ドーム状に形成され上方から押圧されて反転動作することで第2の固定接点部と第2のスイッチ接続を行う第2のメタルコンタクト160と、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160の上方に配置され、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160を同時に押圧可能な第1のステム140と、を備え、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160のいずれか一方が他方よりも早く反転動作を行うプッシュスイッチ100であって、第1のステム140は、第1の方向における両端に、ガイド部146を有し、ハウジング110は、第1の方向において互いに対向する収容空間110Aの内壁のそれぞれに、ガイド部146と係合可能で上下方向に延設されたガイド溝116を有し、第1のステム140は、ガイド部146がガイド溝116に係合した状態で、ガイド溝116に沿って上下動可能である。
 本構成により、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100は、第1のステム140の第1の方向への傾倒をガイド部146によってガイドし、第1のステム140の第2の方向への傾倒をガイド部146によって規制することができる。したがって、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100によれば、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160を好適な加重特性で段階的に押圧することができる。
 また、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100において、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160は、反転動作を開始する押圧力が互いに異なり、第1のステム140は、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160を押圧する一対の突起部142,144を有し、且つ、一対の突起部142,144の中点位置が上方から押圧される。
 本構成により、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100は、第1のステム140の一対の突起部142,144の中点位置を下方へ押圧することにより、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160を、段階的に弾性変形させることができる。すなわち、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100は、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160の各々に対して、均一に押圧力を伝達することができる。
 また、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100において、第1のステム140は、上方からの平面視において、収容空間110Aの開口形状に沿った外形状を有する。
 本構成により、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100は、第1のステム140の第1の方向への傾倒を第1のステム140の外形状によってガイドし、第1のステム140の第2の方向への傾倒を第1のステム140の外形状によって規制することができる。したがって、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100によれば、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160を好適な加重特性で段階的に押圧することができる。
 また、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100は、ハウジング110内における第1のステム140の上方において、上下移動可能に設けられ、押圧操作に伴って第1のステム140の一対の突起部142,144の中点位置を押圧する第2のステム130をさらに備える。
 本構成により、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100は、第1のステム140の一対の突起部142,144の中点位置を確実に下方へ押圧することができる。これにより、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100は、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160の各々に対して、より確実に均一に押圧力を伝達することができる。
 また、本構成により、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100は、第1のメタルコンタクト150を弾性変形させるための押圧操作のストローク量を、第1のメタルコンタクト150の頂点のストローク量の半分とすることができ、第2のメタルコンタクト160を弾性変形させるための押圧操作のストローク量を、第2のメタルコンタクト160の頂点のストローク量の半分とすることができる。よって、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100によれば、押圧操作のショートストローク化を実現することができる。
 また、本構成により、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100は、てこの原理が働くことにより、各メタルコンタクト150,160にかかる操作荷重よりも、押圧操作に要する操作荷重を高めることができ、よって、操作荷重の小さい各メタルコンタクト150,160を用いつつ、しっかりとした操作感触をユーザに呈示することができる。なお、操作荷重の小さい(すなわち、絞り加工の浅い)各メタルコンタクト150,160を用いることで、各メタルコンタクト150,160を長寿命化することができる。
 また、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100において、第2のステム130は、当該第2のステム130の下面から下方に突出し、且つ、第2の方向に延在する下側凸状部134を有し、当該下側凸状部134によって、第1のステム140の一対の突起部142,144の中点位置を押圧する。
 本構成により、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100は、第1のステム140の一対の突起部142,144の中点位置をより確実に押圧することができる。
 また、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100において、収容空間110Aは、上方からの平面視において概ね正方形状を有しており、第1の方向は、上方からの平面視における収容空間110Aの第1の対角線L1に沿った方向であり、第2の方向は、上方からの平面視における収容空間110Aの第2の対角線L2に沿った方向である。
 本構成により、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100は、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160を、ハウジング110の第1の対角線L1に沿って並べて配置することができ、よって、ハウジング110の小型化を実現することができる。
 また、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100において、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160の各々は、第1の方向における両端に、第2の方向に沿って直線状に切り欠かれた両サイド部を有する。
 本構成により、一実施形態に係るプッシュスイッチ100は、第1のメタルコンタクト150および第2のメタルコンタクト160を、ハウジング110の第1の対角線L1に沿って互いに近接して並べて配置することができ、よって、ハウジング110の小型化を実現することができる。
 以上、本発明の一実施形態について詳述したが、本発明はこれらの実施形態に限定されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲に記載された本発明の要旨の範囲内において、種々の変形又は変更が可能である。

  1.  上方に開口した収容空間を有するハウジングと、
     前記収容空間の内部底面に第1の方向に沿って並べて設けられた第1の固定接点部および第2の固定接点部と、
     前記第1の固定接点部の上方に配置され、ドーム状に形成され上方から押圧されて反転動作することで前記第1の固定接点部と第1のスイッチ接続を行う第1の可動接点部材と、
     前記第2の固定接点部の上方に配置され、ドーム状に形成され上方から押圧されて反転動作することで前記第2の固定接点部と第2のスイッチ接続を行う第2の可動接点部材と、
     前記第1の可動接点部材および前記第2の可動接点部材の上方に配置され、前記第1の可動接点部材および前記第2の可動接点部材を同時に押圧可能な第1の押圧部材と、
    を備え、
     前記第1の可動接点部材および前記第2の可動接点部材のいずれか一方が他方よりも早く反転動作を行うプッシュスイッチであって、
     前記第1の押圧部材は、前記第1の方向における両端に、第1のガイド部を有し、
     前記ハウジングは、前記第1の方向において互いに対向する前記収容空間の内壁のそれぞれに、前記第1のガイド部と係合可能で上下方向に延設された第2のガイド部を有し、
     前記第1の押圧部材は、前記第1のガイド部が前記第2のガイド部に係合した状態で、前記第2のガイド部に沿って上下動可能である
     ことを特徴とするプッシュスイッチ。
  2.  前記第1の可動接点部材および前記第2の可動接点部材は、反転動作を開始する押圧力が互いに異なり、
     前記第1の押圧部材は、前記第1の可動接点部材および前記第2の可動接点部材を押圧する一対の突起部を有し、且つ、前記一対の突起部の中点位置が上方から押圧される
     ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプッシュスイッチ。
  3.  前記第1の押圧部材は、
     上方からの平面視において、前記収容空間の開口形状に沿った外形状を有する
     ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のプッシュスイッチ。
  4.  前記ハウジング内における前記第1の押圧部材の上方において、上下移動可能に設けられ、前記第1の押圧部材の前記一対の突起部の中点位置を押圧する第2の押圧部材
     をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載のプッシュスイッチ。
  5.  前記第2の押圧部材は、
     当該第2の押圧部材の下面から下方に突出し、且つ、前記第1の方向と交差する第2の方向に延在する凸状部を有し、当該凸状部により、前記第1の押圧部材の前記一対の突起部の中点位置を押圧する
     ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のプッシュスイッチ。
  6.  前記収容空間は、
     上方からの平面視において概ね正方形状を有しており、
     前記第1の方向は、
     上方からの平面視における前記収容空間の第1の対角線に沿った方向である
