- HTO high tibial osteotomy
- This operation only removes the unilateral articular surface of the tibia and femur, and implants the tibia, femur, and cushion prosthesis.
- the proprioception is better; however, this operation has a limited lifespan, and the tibial plateau becomes loose and lining.
- the incidence of cushion dislocation is relatively high, and there is too much osteotomy. It is difficult to revise as a total knee surgery. Additional auxiliary fixation such as cushions is required, which limits its promotion. 3.
- High tibial osteotomy is only effective for knee arthritis patients with tibial deformity, and requires additional plate fixation, which is expensive and requires limited activities after surgery, which does not meet the concept and needs of rapid recovery for orthopedic patients.
