Description

STREET LIGHTING FIXTURE ASSEMBLY HAVING A ROPE LIFT SYSTEM
The invention is related to a street lighting fixture assembly where the operator does not need to be lifted to the level of the lighting pole in order to carry out the maintenance and/or repair procedures of the street lighting fixtures, as the fixture itself is brought down to ground level, by means of the lift system therein, such that the electricity is cut off, and the fixture is then lifted back up to its original position by means of the rope lift system following the completion of the maintenance/repair procedures. The street lighting lamps are components that are placed on top of poles in order to provide sufficient lighting, where said lamps are serially positioned along a road or are positioned singularly.
In time, when it is required for the lamp to be changed, or if maintenance is necessary, periodically, the unit called the fixture in which the lamps are present, needs to be accessed and opened. The personnel who it to perform this intervention needs to climb up to this level and to reach the fixture. Due to this reason, the basket cranes that carry people, are parked under the lamp in the street and are used to ensure that the operator reaches the fixture that is 6-9 m high. This method interrupts traffic and necessitates the usage of a vehicle such as a basket crane.
The invention ensures that the intervention of fixtures is carried out on the ground level, safely, as opposed to the above-mentioned method that has disadvantages. In accordance with this purpose, within the scope of the lighting pole and elements, a system assembly is provided that shall lower the fixtures by means of a mechanical lift system. The lighting poles are formed of a column and a console that carries the fixtures and the fixtures. Our invention additionally comprises a rope lift system that carries the fixture and lowers the fixture to ground level, pins that center the fixture and locks it, a fixture carrier that houses the socket that provides electric power, and a fixture that is integrated to this carrier.
The most important danger of the present technique is the possibility for the fixture to have power during the procedures carried out by the operator. In the present art, a street lighting fixture that allows the fixture to be lowered to ground level and enables intervention such that the power is cut off is not available.

The hoisting plate is fixedly matched with the top housing by a lifting rope on the pulleys, and one end of the lifting rope is connected with the top housing. The other end of the lifting rope is fixed on a winding-up roller at the bottom of a road lamp post, the lamp can be conveniently taken off from the top part of the lamp post by the winding-up roller through the lifting rope on the ground, and the lamp is wiped or repaired. The utility model has the advantages of time-saving, labor-saving, low labor intensity and high safety, avoids working danger, and is a novel and unique street lighting lamp product. The document discloses that the height of the lamp can be adjusted by means of a rope pulley system where the rope is passed through the pole.
In the publication numbered CN105627213 A, the invention is related to a lifting street lamp and a maintaining method and it belongs to the field of street lamps and relevant illumination technical equipment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The fixture assembly subject to the invention is formed of at least a fixed fixture carrier (5) and a fixture (6). An electric socket (12) has been provided at the bottom section of the fixed fixture carrier (5). Furthermore, at least two fixture guide pin slots have been positioned at the same level with the electric socket (12) and a hole has been opened for the lowering rope (9) to be able to pass through the centers of the pin slots.
At least two fixture guide pin slots (15), rope lowering pulleys (14) and an electric motor (13) has been positioned in the inner section of the fixed fixture carrier (5). The extension of the electric socket (12) is located in the inner section of the fixed fixture carrier (5).
At least two, fixture guide rear pins (11) and a fixture electric plug (10) has been positioned at the rear section of the fixture (6) that is located at the bottom section of the fixture assembly subject to the invention. An illuminating section (17), a guide rope container (18), a guide rope (16) that is wound inside the guide rope container (18) and a guide rope container cover (7) has been provided at the front section of the fixture (6). At least two solenoid valves (8) have been placed at the other side of the front section of the fixture (6), at the edge of the rope container (18) such that it is located under the guide rope container cover (7).
The usage of the fixture subject to the invention on the pole (3) has been illustrated on the refuge (2) at the mid section of the road (1) as shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2. When the fixture assembly subject to the invention on the pole (3) is in normal usage; the pins (11) at the rear section of the fixture (6) when the fixture (6) is mounted to the fixture carrier (5), are inserted into the fixture guide pin sockets (12) at the front section of the fixed fixture carrier (5).
At the same time, the electric plug (10) at the rear section of the fixture (6) is plugged into the electric socket (12) located at the front section of the fixed fixture carrier (5).
The state of the fixture (6) subject to the invention that has been lowered to ground level, after it has been separated from the fixed fixture carrier (5), has been illustrated in Figure-5 and Figure-7.
The lowering process of the fixture (6) is enabled by, first of all, the unlatching of the lock housing (4) from the solenoid valve (8) and the descending of the guide rope by gravity after the cover (7) is opened. When the solenoid valve (8) is given energy and is driven, the pin of the solenoid valve (8) frees itself out of the lock housing (4) and the cover (7) of the guide rope container cover (7) is also released and opened. At this moment the rope (16) inside the guide rope container (18) descends down and the operator on the ground can reach the guide rope.
Following this, the operator on the ground drives the electric motor (13) in order to unwind the lowering rope (9) and at this moment, the guide rope (16) is manually pulled down, the electric plug (10) is unplugged from the electric socket (12) and the fixture guide rear pins (11) are released from the fixture guide pin slots (15) and the fixture starts to descend. When the fixture (6) is lowered to a distance that can be safely reached by the operator on the ground, the power of the fixture (6) is cut off. The reason for this is that the fixture (6) is unplugged from the electric socket (12). When the fixture (6) is being lowered down, the operator maintains the control of the guide rope (16), thereby preventing the fixture from swaying due to weather conditions or other factors and also preventing danger. The fixture is pulled back up after the fixture (6) is lowered to ground level and the necessary maintenance-repair procedures are completed. Before the process of being pulled back up, the guide rope (16) is wound and is placed inside the guide rope container (18) and the guide rope container cover is closed and the solenoid valves (8) are driven in the opposite direction and the cover (7) is locked. Following this, the electric motor (13) inside the fixed fixture carrier (5) drives the lowering rope (9) in the opposite direction of the first process, in other words, winds-collects the two lowering ropes (9) by winding them via the electric motor (13) and the pulleys (14) and the fixture (6) is enabled to reach the fixture body (5). The guide rear pins (11) of the fixture (6) that reaches the fixture body (5) is enabled to be fit into the pin slots (15) located inside the fixed fixture carrier (5). At this moment the electric plug (10) that is located at the back of the fixture enters into the electric socket (12) located at the front section of the fixed fixture carrier (5) and electricity is provided to the fixture (6).
The fixture assembly subject to the invention is maintained/repaired safely by means of the above-mentioned processes, without necessitating the usage of a basket crane. The driving process that is carried out by powering the electric motor (13) and the solenoid valves (8) can be carried out via a control panel that has been installed suitably on the pole (3) or by a remote control.
