Definitions
- the utility model refers to a mini-container (capsule) for placement inside an aromatic substance for attachment to various types of packages, gifts, printing products for use in the field of aromatic marketing.
- Aromamarketing is developing in two directions. Firstly, hotels, shops, clinics and restaurants install special devices that distribute odors to attract customers.
- aromatherapy is being used more and more actively in the printing industry — to promote perfumes and cosmetics, household chemicals, food and alcohol, as well as in advertising, souvenir and gift products to create a positive emotional boost for the recipient, who will long remember the memory of this happy event.
- the microcapsule is a ball, the average diameter of which varies between 8 and 30 microns, which adhesively fasten between two temporarily glued surfaces, so that when the two surfaces are separated, the capsules break, releasing the aroma material contained in them, while the adhesion strength of the adhesive composite layer should be less than the bond strength between the adhesive composition (glue, varnish) and surfaces, and tensile tensile strength of these microcapsules is less than the cohesive strength of the adhesive composition.
- a package is known from US Pat. No. 5,249,676, from which only one portion of a flavoring substance is released upon first opening of the package.
- the flavoring substance is microencapsulated so that with each disengagement of the sticky surface from the barrier layer, a part of the microcapsules breaks and their contents are released.
- Flavoring agent means any substance that releases, produces, neutralizes, hides or modifies odors, such as perfumes or deodorants.
- the flavoring agent may alternatively or additionally be introduced into an object placed inside the barrier layer of the package.
- This item can be made of porous material and can be, for example, a gasket, a paper sheet, or it can be a cardboard inner frame of a semi-rigid packaging.
- the flavoring substance may be encapsulated or enclosed in a sachet (sachet) with capsules or sachet inside the package.
- microencapsulated technology is a rather expensive enterprise.
- microcapsules are mainly used in printing products, which are made directly at the factory, thus the consumer is deprived of the opportunity to choose which of the flavors to place on which object.
- perfume compositions are developed according to the principle of three-stage sounding or the so-called olfactory pyramid. At the top of this pyramid are usually volatile fragrant substances that are heard immediately as soon as the perfume bottle opens. Their task is to form the first impression of the fragrance and disappear in 15-20 minutes, allowing the middle notes of perfume to reveal.
- Middle notes are composed of medium volatility components. They appear after the top notes and sound for the next 3-4 hours. And finally, perfumers put the heaviest aroma components, which are called the base notes of perfume, at the base of the pyramid of aroma. They can sound for more than 12 hours, and on objects even several weeks, it is they who give the aroma the necessary strength and durability.
- loop notes The base notes that a person hears with the last chords of aroma sounding are called loop notes.
- microcapsule technology does not allow to convey all the notes of the revealing aroma, but only the top notes are quickly volatile aromatic substances.
- US patent 4717017 discloses a package, which is a pack of cigarettes, which is equipped with a vessel for containing aroma or flavor, which should be released upon initial opening by the consumer.
- the vessel is provided by attaching to the polymer film covering the sealed package, in the area lying above the tear tape, an additional layer of polymer film.
- the aroma or flavor is captured between the polymer film and the additional polymer layer and released when the tear tape is pulled through the vessel to print the package.
- the container may be provided with compartments to minimize leakage or to preserve the aroma or flavor in two or more relatively inert components that respond to contact to form a flavor or flavor.
- weakened cross-section lines can be made with either one point, or two, three, four, etc.
- the angle of the tip (pointed end) b can vary from 1 to 179 °.
- the objective of this utility model is to eliminate the above disadvantages of the prior art, in particular to reduce the cost of the product through the use of more affordable and cheaper materials and applying adhesive materials not to the entire outer surface of the layers made of deformable and lyophobic material; the ability to independently choose the flavor contained in the capsule to your liking and the ability to attach the capsule to various products of your choice, as well as increasing the reliability of fixing the capsule to the product.
- the technical result is aimed at increasing the reliability of opening the capsule for aromatic substances, as a result of achieving the effect of instant opening and reducing the likelihood of "misfires" by reducing the required effort to break the layers made of deformable and lyophobic material.
- the claimed technical result is achieved due to the design of the capsule for aromatic substances, which consists of at least two layers made of a deformable and lyophobic material, interconnected to form an internal airtight cavity for aromatic substances, having free the ends made for opening the capsule, the line of weakened section, and at least two layers of adhesive material deposited on the outer surface of the layers made of deformable and lyophobic material, while the adhesive layers are covered with a protective film, while the line of weakened section has a pointed form.
- the line of weakened section may contain at least one tip.
- the angle of the tip of the line of weakened section b can be equal to
- the free ends make up no more than 3/5 of the length of the layers made of a deformable and lyophobic material.
- the free ends of the layers made of a deformable and lyophobic material form a lever, which is made with the possibility of elastic changes in the spatial position of the free ends of the lever when they are separated from each other by a distance sufficient to open the capsule.
- the capsule can be made of various shapes: round, oval, rectangular, ellipsoid, etc.
- the advantage of this utility model is that the free ends of the layers made of a deformable material can be bent due to the flexibility of the material at different angles a, which can vary from 0 to 180 degrees, which is facilitated by a line of weakened cross section.
- the pointed shape of the line of attenuated cross-section allows the capsule to instantly burst with little effort.
- the capsule for aromatic substance is intended for its fixation to products, including complex geometric shapes, or to products with a non-standard packaging opening system, such as, for example, a “slider” box or containers with a rotational lid opening system.
- the user needs to quickly determine the location of the free ends of the capsule, forming a lever for opening, so the edges of the free ends are predominantly made in a different shape, different from opposite edge of the capsule.
- the shape may be semicircular, spiky, W-shaped and any other shape.
- this edge can be painted in a bright noticeable color.
- various layer materials can be used, for example, to deformable and lyophobic, i.e. sufficiently flexible and impervious liquids, materials include films of polyethylene and other acceptable polymers, cellulosic materials such as paper and paperboard with lyophobic impregnation, foil.
- an example is a capsule in which an adhesive layer (adhesive, varnish, double-sided tape) is applied to the outer surface of the upper layer by 50% and to the outer surface of the lower layer by 100%.
- the adhesive layer in some embodiments of the utility model can be applied to the inner side of the free ends made to open the capsule.
- a protective film is applied to the adhesive lower and upper layers, which can be made of a transparent polymeric material.
- the shape of the capsule assumes a flat cross-sectional view in order to conveniently place it on any product, while the capsule may remain unnoticed until it is opened.
- the figure 1 shows the construction of a capsule for aromatic substances in layers.
- the figure 2 shows the design of the capsule for aromatic substances in the open state.
- Figure 3 shows a side view of the structure of the capsule for aromatic substances.
- FIG 4 shows the design of the capsule for aromatic substances with different angles of bending of the free ends for fixing to the product.
- Figure 5 shows options A, B, C, D, E, F of the shape of the line of weakened section, which can be performed in a capsule with at least one tip.
- Figure 1 shows all the capsule layers in succession, where the capsule for the aromatic substance consists of at least two layers (1, 4) made of a deformable and lyophobic material interconnected to form an internal airtight cavity for the aromatic substance (3 ) having free ends made for opening the capsule, lines of weakened cross-section (6), and at least two layers of adhesive material (1, 5) deposited on the outer surface of the layers made of deformable and lyophobic material, while adhesive the layers are covered with a protective film, and the line of weakened section (6) has a pointed shape.
- FIG. 2 illustrates a capsule for an aromatic substance in a state opened at 90 degrees.
- FIG. 3 An embodiment of the present utility model, shown in FIG. 3, on the side illustrates a capsule for an aromatic substance in a state opened at 180 degrees.
- the embodiment of the present utility model illustrates the possibility of a capsule for aromatic substance in opening at any angle from 0 to 180 degrees, which is facilitated by a line of weakened cross section made in a pointed form.
- Embodiments of the present utility model shown in FIG. 5 illustrate the possibility of manufacturing various spiky line shapes of a weakened capsule section for an aromatic substance.
- Installation capsules for aromatic substances on the product is as follows.
- Example 1 Postcard (book, swing box).
- the protective film is removed from the adhesive layer.
- the free ends of the layers made of deformable and the lyophobic material is glued on the outer sides, on which the adhesive layer is applied so that one free end is placed on the first page of the card, and the second free end is on the second page of the card, in order to create a minimum angle for the tensile force, the capsule is placed as close as possible to the place of the fold of the postcard.
- a radial opening vector of 180 degrees is created.
- part of the capsule may extend beyond the borders of the card for the advertising purpose of its difference from other products and for the consumer to understand that the card is flavored.
- Example 2 Tube. Packaging products of this kind have a hinged lid either clockwise or counterclockwise.
- one of the free ends of the capsule is glued to the tube body, and the second is bent, for example, at an angle of 90 degrees and glued to the inner side of the lid taking into account the rotation side of the lid in such a way as to create a negatively directed opening vector.
- Example 3 Sliding box (such as a slider).
- the protective film is removed from the adhesive layer.
- One free end with an adhesive layer deposited on its inner side is glued to the inner upper side of the closing part of the box, and the free end with an adhesive layer deposited on its outer side is glued to the end or side of the box where the goods are directly placed. This creates a negatively directed opening vector at 180 degrees.
- the capsule for aromatic substance described in this utility model guarantees its reliable fixation to products of various geometric shapes and opening systems, while reducing cost by using more affordable and cheaper materials and applying adhesive materials not to the entire outer surface of the layers made of deformable and lyophobic material, and also provides the user with the opportunity to independently choose the flavor contained in the capsule, to your liking and the ability to attach the capsule to various products of his choice.
