Beschreibung
Simulator für hydraulische Bremssysteme und Bremssystem
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Simulator für hydraulische Bremssysteme, umfassend die Komponenten: Simulatorkolben, Simulatorfeder, elastisches Element sowie einen Druckkolben. Sie betrifft weiterhin ein Bremssystem.
Bei elektrohydraulischen Bremssystemen mit der Betriebsart„Brake-by-Wire“ ist der Fahrer von dem direkten Zugriff auf die Bremsen entkoppelt. Bei Betätigung des Pedals werden gewöhnlich eine Pedalentkopplungseinheit und ein Simulator betä tigt, wobei durch eine Sensorik der Bremswunsch des Fahrers erfasst wird. Der Pedalsimulator dient dazu, dem Fahrer ein möglichst vertrautes Bremspedalgefühl zu vermitteln. Der erfasste Bremswunsch führt zu der Bestimmung eines Soll bremsmomentes, woraus dann der Sollbremsdruck für die Bremsen ermittelt wird. Der Bremsdruck wird dann aktiv von einer Druckbereitstellungseinrichtung in den Bremsen aufgebaut.
Das tatsächliche Bremsen erfolgt also durch aktiven Druckaufbau in den Brems kreisen mit Hilfe einer Druckbereitstellungseinrichtung, die von einer Steuer- und Regeleinheit angesteuert wird. Als Druckbereitstellungseinrichtung in oben be schriebenen Bremssystemen kann insbesondere ein elektrohydrau
lisch-mechanischer Linearaktuator mit Kolben verwendet werden, bei dem zum Druckaufbau ein Kolben axial in einen hydraulischen Druckraum verschoben wird, der in Reihe mit einem Rotations-Translationsgetriebe gebaut ist. Die Motorwelle eines Elektromotors wird durch das Rotations-Translationsgetriebe in eine axiale Verschiebung des Kolbens umgewandelt.
Die Einstellung eines geforderten Systemdruckes erfolgt mit Hilfe eines geeigneten Druckreglers bzw. eines geeigneten Druckregelsystems, bei dem beispielsweise dem Druckregler ein Drehzahlregler unterlagert ist.
Im Normalbetrieb betätigt bei einer derartigen Fremdkraftbremsanlage der Fahrer einen Simulator bzw. Pedalsimulator, wobei diese Pedalbetätigung durch Pe dalsensoren erfasst wird und ein entsprechender Drucksollwert für den Linearak tuator zu Betätigung der Radbremsen ermittelt wird. Wenn das Bremssystem einen Tandemhauptbremszylinder (THZ) aufweist, wird beispielsgemäß der Simulator
hydraulisch mit einer Kammer des THZ verbunden. Der Simulator weist gewöhnlich einen auf diese Weise betätigbaren Simulatorkolben auf, der ein Druckstück gegen ein elastisches Simulatorelement drückt, so dass der Fahrer am Pedal einen Wiederstand als Funktion des Pedalweges spürt, der zu einem konventionellen Pedalgefühl korrespondiert.
In modernen Kraftfahrzeugen steht für die Komponenten des Bremssystems wenig Bauraum zur Verfügung, so dass es wünschenswert ist, dass ein verwendeter Si mulator in axialer Richtung wenig Platz beansprucht.
Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Simulator dahingehend zu verbessern, dass er in axialer Richtung nur geringen Bauraum benötigt. Weiterhin soll ein bauraumoptimiertes Bremssystem angegeben werden.
In Bezug auf den Simulator wird diese Aufgabe erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass der Druckkolben einen Hohlraum aufweist, in dem zumindest bereichsweise eine der eingangs benannten Komponenten aufgenommen ist.
Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche.
Die Erfindung geht von der Überlegung aus, dass der Simulator möglichst geringen Bauraumbedarf in axialer Richtung aufweisen sollte, um in modernen Fahrzeugen, in denen der Bauraum oft gering ist, geeignet eingebaut werden zu können.
Wie nunmehr erkannt wurde, kann ein Simulator diese Anforderung besonders gut erfüllen, indem die einzelnen Komponenten ineinander angeordnet bzw. ver schachtelt werden. Dies kann dadurch erreicht werden, dass der Druckkolben dazu ausgebildet wird, zumindest teilweise in einem in ihm gebildeten Hohlraum we nigstens eine andere Komponente des Simulators aufzunehmen. Auf diese Weise überlappen in axialer Richtung der Druckkolben und wenigstens eine weitere Komponente, so dass die axiale Länge des Simulators um wenigstens diesen überlappenden Betrag verringert werden kann.
Vorteilafterweise ist das elastische Element, insbesondere vollständig, im Hohlraum des Druckkolbens angeordnet.
Bevorzugt ist der Simulatorkolben zumindest bereichsweise im Hohlraum des Druckkolbens angeordnet.
Die Simulatorfeder ist vorteilhafterweise zumindest bereichsweise im Hohlraum des Druckkolbens angeordnet.
Der Druckkolben ist bevorzugt als Hohlkolben, besonders bevorzugt als zylinder förmiger Hohlkolben ausgebildet.
Der Druckkolben ist in einer bevorzugten Ausführung als Stufenkolben ausgebildet mit einer ersten Stufe, deren Innenfläche an eine Stirnseite des Druckkolbens grenzt und einer sich daran anschließenden zweiten Stufe, wobei der Radius der ersten Stufe geringer ist als der Radius der zweiten Stufe.
Vorteilhafterweise vergrößert sich in einem Übergang zwischen erster und zweiter Stufe der Radius stetig, insbesondere linear.
Der Simulatorkolben ist bevorzugt, insbesondere vollständig, in der ersten Stufe angeordnet, wobei das elastische Element zumindest bereichsweise in der zweiten Stufe angeordnet ist.
Der Simulatorkolben umfasst in einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform einen Hohl raum, in dem die Simulatorfeder zumindest bereichsweise angeordnet ist.
Der Simulator umfasst in einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform eine Hülse, die den Druckkolben zumindest bereichsweise umfasst.
Vorteilhafterweise ist das elastische Element aus Gummi gefertigt.
Das elastische Element ist vorteilhafterweise als Elastomer ausgebildet.
In Bezug auf das Bremssystem wird die oben genannte Aufgabe erfindungsgemäß gelöst mit einem oben beschriebenen Simulator. Das Bremssystem umfasst be vorzugt hydraulische Radbremsen und eine damit trennbar verbundene Druckbe reitstellungseinrichtung, insbesondere einen Linearaktuator, zum aktiven Druck aufbau in einem Brake-by-Wire-Betriebsmodus.
Die Vorteile der Erfindung liegen insbesondere darin, dass, insbesondere unter
Beibehaltung der elastomechanisch-hydraulischen Eigenschaften der Kernele- mente Feder, Manschette, Druckstück und Gummifeder, zu vergleichbaren Kosten ein deutlich kompakterer Simulator realisiert werden kann.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird anhand einer Zeichnung näher erläu tert. Darin zeigen in stark schematisierter Darstellung:
FIG. 1 einen Simulator in einer ersten bevorzugten Ausführungsform;
FIG. 2 einen Simulator in einer zweiten bevorzugten Ausführungsform; und
FIG. 3 einen Simulator in einer dritten bevorzugten Ausführungsform.
Gleiche Teile sind in allen Figuren mit denselben Bezugszeichen versehen.
Ein in FIG. 1 dargestellter Simulator 20 umfasst eine Simulatorfeder 1 , einen Si mulatorkolben 2, ein elastisches Element 3, sowie einen Druckkolben 4. Er umfasst weiterhin eine Dichtungsmanschette 5 sowie einen Deckel 6 für ein Simulatorge häuse 7. Der Simulatorkolben 2 wird auf seiner dem elastischen Element 3 abge wandten Seite von der Simulatorfeder 1 beaufschlagt, so dass der Simulatorkolben 2 an das elastische Element 3 gedrückt wird.
Der Simulator 20 ist dazu ertüchtigt, in axialer Richtung möglichst wenig Bauraum zu beanspruchen. Dies wird erreicht, indem der Druckkolben 4 einen Flohlraum 28 umfasst, in dem zumindest eine weitere Komponente des Simulators 20 zumindest teilweise bzw. bereichsweise angeordnet ist. Der Druckkolben 4 ist somit bevorzugt zumindest bereichsweise als Flohlkolben ausgebildet. In der dargestellten bevor zugten Ausführung ist der Druckkolben 4 als zylindrischer Flohlkolben mit einer Stirnfläche 24 ausgebildet. In dem Flohlraum 28 ist das elastische Element 3 voll ständig angeordnet. In axialer Richtung grenzt das elastische Element 3 auf einer Seite an eine Innenfläche der Stirnfläche 24 des Druckkolbens 4 an und auf der entgegengesetzten Seite an den Simulatorkolben 2 an.
Der Simulatorkolben 2 ist in der dargestellten Ausführungsform zumindest be reichsweise in Flohlraum 28 des Druckkolbens 4 angeordnet. Die Simulatorfeder 1 ist bereichsweise in dem Flohlraum 28 angeordnet. Der Simulatorkolben 2 weist einen zylinderförmigen Bereich auf, um den die Simulatorfeder 1 gewunden ist. Dieser Bereich ist zumindest teilweise im Flohlraum 28 angeordnet. Der Teil der
Simulatorfeder 1 , der um den zylinderförmigen Bereich gewunden ist, ist ebenso im Hohlraum 28 angeordnet.
Ein Simulator in einer zweiten bevorzugten Ausführungsform ist in FIG. 2 darge stellt. Der Druckkolben 4 ist in dieser bevorzugten Ausführungsform gestuft aus geführt. Eine erste Stufe 32 des Druckkolbens 4 weist einen ersten Radius auf und eine zweite Stufe 34 einen zweiten Radius. Der zweite Radius ist größer als der erste Radius. In einem Übergangsbereich 36 zwischen den beiden Stufen 32, 34 wächst der Radius im Wesentlichen linear an. In der ersten Stufe 32 sind der Si mulatorkolben 2 und die Simulatorfeder 1 zumindest bereichsweise und bevorzugt vollständig angeordnet. In der zweiten Stufe 34 ist das elastische Element 3 zu mindest bereichsweise und bevorzugt vollständig angeordnet. In der ersten 32 und zweiten Stufe 34 ist ein Hohlraum 38 gebildet. In diesem Hohlraum 38 sind in dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel drei Komponenten des Simulators 20, nämlich die Simulatorfeder 1 , der Simulatorkolben 2 und das elastische Element 3, das bevorzugt als Elastomer bzw. Gummifeder ausgebildet ist, angeordnet.
Der Simulatorkolben 2 weist in dieser bevorzugten Ausführungsform einen Hohl raum 44 auf, der die Simulatorfeder 44 zumindest bereichsweise, bevorzugt im Wesentlichen vollständig, aufnimmt.
Durch ein geschicktes Verschachteln des Elastomers 3 innerhalb des Druckkolbens 4, der nun gestuft ist, kann der Simulator 20 übersetzungsfrei ausgeführt werden und ist somit funktional und hydraulisch identisch zu bekannten Simulatoren, be ansprucht aber deutlich weniger Bauraum.
Vertauscht sind in dieser Ausführung die„nasse“ und die„trockene“ Seite. Das Bezugszeichen 12 bezeichnet die Einsparung des Bauraums.
Ein Simulator in einer dritten bevorzugten Ausführungsform ist in FIG. 3 dargestellt. Bei dieser Ausführung ist wie bei der in FIG. 2 dargestellten Ausführung der Druckkolben 4 gestuft ausgeführt mit einer ersten Stufe 32 und einer zweiten Stufe 4 sowie einem Übergangsbereich 36, in dem der Radius des Druckkolbens 4 im Wesentlichen linear zwischen dem Radius der ersten Stufe 32 und dem größeren Radius der zweiten Stufe 34 zunimmt.
Die FIG. 3 zeigt eine bevorzugte Variante mit einer Hülse 13, die es erlaubt, die Schnittstelle im Block noch kleiner werden zu lassen als die ursprüngliche aus dem Stand der Technik. In allen drei Ausführungsformen ist das elastische Element 3 bevorzugt aus Gummi gefertigt. Es kann auch als Elastomer ausgebildet sein.
Claims
1. Simulator (20) für hydraulische Bremssysteme, umfassend die Komponenten:
Simulatorkolben (2), Simulatorfeder (1 ), elastisches Element (3) sowie einen Druckkolben (4),
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
der Druckkolben (4) einen Hohlraum (28) aufweist, in dem zumindest be reichsweise eine dieser Komponenten (1 , 2, 3) aufgenommen ist.
2. Simulator (20) nach Anspruch 1 , wobei das elastische Element (3), insbe sondere vollständig, im Hohlraum (28) des Druckkolbens (4) angeordnet ist.
3. Simulator (20) nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei der Simulatorkolben (2) zu mindest bereichsweise im Hohlraum (28) des Druckkolbens (4) angeordnet ist.
4. Simulator (20) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei die Simulatorfeder (1 ) zumindest bereichsweise im Hohlraum (28) des Druckkolbens (4) angeordnet ist.
5. Simulator (20) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, wobei der Druckkolben (4) als zylinderförmiger Hohlkolben ausgebildet ist.
6. Simulator (20) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei der Druckkolben (4) als Stufenkolben ausgebildet ist mit einer ersten Stufe (32), deren Innenfläche an eine Stirnseite des Druckkolbens (4) grenzt und einer sich daran an schließenden zweiten Stufe (34), wobei der Radius der ersten Stufe (32) ge ringer ist als der Radius der zweiten Stufe (34).
7. Simulator (20) nach Anspruch 6, wobei sich in einem Übergang (36) zwischen erster (32) und zweiter Stufe (34) der Radius stetig, insbesondere linear, vergrößert.
8. Simulator (20) nach Anspruch 6 oder 7, wobei der Simulatorkolben (2), ins besondere vollständig, in der ersten Stufe (32) angeordnet ist, und wobei das elastische Element (3) zumindest bereichsweise in der zweiten Stufe (34) angeordnet ist.
9. Simulator (20) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, wobei der Simulatorkolben (2) einen Hohlraum (44) umfasst, in dem die Simulatorfeder (1 ) zumindest bereichsweise angeordnet ist.
10. Simulator (20) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, umfassend eine Hülse (13), die den Druckkolben (4) zumindest bereichsweise umfasst.
11. Simulator (20) nach einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, wobei das elastische Element (3) aus Gummi gefertigt ist.
12. Simulator (20) nach einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, wobei das elastische Element (3) als Elastomer ausgebildet ist.
13. Bremssystem für Kraftfahrzeuge, umfassend einen Simulator (20) nach einem der vorherigen Ansprüche.
