The stiffener (4) has a solid timber element (7) and side plates (8) made of metal profiles and/or composite material profiles.

Description

Window frame and casement profile set
The aspect of the invention is a window frame and casement profile set with application particularly in construction window joinery, especially for plastic, durable profiles.
The application for invention No. P.404064 describes a set of profiles with thermal reinforcement, especially a plastic profile with a casement frame and window frame profiles with shape and dimensions adapted to the window frame profile, which interfaces indirectly with the casement frame profile through seals. Accordingly, the window frame profile and casement frame profile have an outer wall, intermediate wall, chamber wall and an inner wall surrounding the profile interior and additional walls dividing the profile interior into additional chambers, as well as at least one main chamber spreading along the longitudinal axis of the window casing profile and window frame profile, which houses a stiffener, with at least one reinforced wall and the insulating material, which interfaces with the stiffener. The window frame and casement frame insulating material is a slide insert made of plastic.
The description of patent claim No. P.419971 indicates a window, facade or door jamb, the principal element of which is a homogeneous beam made of foamed plastic or composite, preferably of foamed composite. The homogeneous beam is expected to be made of using such materials as PUR and PIR polyurethane or foamed PP polypropylene or foamed PA polyamide or floral sponge or foamed PE polyethylene or foamed PVC polyvinyl chloride or synthetic foam, or possibly made with glass fibre or carbon fibre or other foamed material. The material used to manufacture the homogeneous beam can contain structural elements embedded in the mass of the homogeneous beam, which make it stronger, regardless of any additional coating. The homogeneous beam can be of any shape. The manufacturing method for the window, door or facade jamb, which constitutes the aspect of the invention involves placing the aforementioned homogeneous beam in an air-tight tunnel, pumping air out of the tunnel and then introducing a pre-measured amount of resin, the volume of which is calculated to uniformly cover, using the described vacuum injection method, the homogeneous beam with a resin layer of determined thickness.
The claimed invention No. P.414055 describes an insulating assembly profile made of any plastic foam, preferably foamed polypropylene with cellular structure, possibly pressed timber chips or other material bonded with polyurethane. The foam is coated with a layer of epoxy resin, urea or PUR, and then clad with a layer of glass or carbon fibre.
Claimed invention No. P.414055 outlines a profile for the window, facade and door fixing and insulating system, the essential element of which is an angle bar made of any material, preferably steel, with a cross-section resembling the shape of the letter“L”, which has longitudinal flexions along the edges of both its arms, which are bent towards the inside of the angle bar, preferably at an angle of 90°. The“L” angle bar is filled with filling compound. Furthermore, owing to the wrapping of the angle bar edges and the presence of thus formed longitudinal bends of the angle bar, it is possible to place a strut between them, which spaces the angle bar arms. Essentially, the brace can be a longitudinal flat bar, whereas it can contain openings or beads, or possibly the brace can be in the form of small plates placed accordingly along the length of the“L·’ angle bar. The aforementioned strut always forms an acute angle with the arm of the angle bar to which it is adjoined and the longitudinal flexions protruding from these arms - this angle is usually 45°. In such a case, the strut forms a bisector of the angle determined by the angle bar arm and the longitudinal flexion. In the basic solution, the profile is attached to the wall face using fasteners, pins or bolts. A bolt passing through the horizontal arm of the angle bar fastens the window or door case or other facade elements to the“L” angle bar. This installation can also be executed by using fixing anchor bolts connected directly with the profile or possibly supporting the profile, and then joined with the building wall as well. In addition, the fixing anchor bolts can be equipped with one or several joints. These can also be made of several sliding elements that can be moved apart, thus enabling fixing anchor bolt elongation. The use of joints, possibly in the form of hinges, improves the strength of the fixing bolts.
A disadvantage of known solutions is the weakening of insulating parameters in the area of comers of joined window frame and leaf sills due to the melting of foamed insulating materials when bonding the profiles. This induces the appearance of thermal bridges.
The objective of this solution is to achieve optimum thermal insulation performance at a significantly decreased profile depth and number of chambers, as well as achieving lowered profile weight and its increased stiffness.
According to the invention, the essence of a window frame and casement set is that the window frame profile and casement profile have insulating comer inserts with a truncated prism contour adjacent to both ends of longitudinal shaped elements with at least one stiffener and an insulating panel permanently bonded with it.
The insulating comer insert has a truncated prism contour with a chamfer angle corresponding to half of the angle between the connected leaf and/or frame sills. The stiffener has a solid timber element and side plates made of metal profiles and/or composite material profiles. In this variant of the invention, the stiffener is a closed section. In the second variant of the invention, the stiffener is an open section. Layers of the shaped longitudinal element are permanently bonded using adhesive.
An advantage of the solution according to this invention is achieving optimum thermal insulation performance at a significantly decreased profile depth and number of chambers, as well as achieving lowered profile weight and its increased stiffness. Another advantage is also lowering the costs of manufacturing, transport and energy consumptions, as well as a significant decrease of C02 emissions.
The aspect of the invention is seen in a set of drawings, where Fig. 1 shows a general view of a longitudinal shaped element set with comer inserts, Fig. 2 illustrates a longitudinal section of a frame profile corner, while Figs. 3-5 display window frame and casement profile cross sections. Here, Fig. 3 demonstrates a cross section of an invention variant of a window frame and casement profile set, Fig. 4 shows a cross section of a second variant of a window frame and casement profile set, whereas Fig. 5 reveals a cross section of a third variant of a window frame and casement profile set.
According to the invention, the window frame and casement set is made of PCV plastic. The set contains a window frame profile (1) and a casement profile (2) equipped with shaped longitudinal elements (3) with a stiffener (4) and an insulating panel (5) permanently bonded using adhesive. Both ends of the shaped longitudinal elements (3) are adjacent to insulating comer inserts (6) with a truncated prism contour and a chamfer angle corresponding to half of the angle between the connected window frame (1) and casement (2) sills.
The corner inserts (6) are made of mineral wool, but can also be made of other insulating material resistant to the temperature of the window profile bonding process.
The stiffener (4) is made of a timber element (7) with metal flat bar side plates (8) from both sides, but the side plates (8) can be made of other metal or composite material sections.
An insulating panel (5) is made of polystyrene, but can also be made of other insulating material.
In the second variant of the invention, the stiffener (4) is an open section.
