You may. If there is only one corresponding group, a scaling factor taking into account the difference in SMTC configuration between carriers is applied.

- Non-Patent Document 2 the measurement delay regulation that can maximize the MG utilization efficiency
- Non-Patent Document 2 specifies that a delay rule is determined for each carrier based on an average number of times that measurement can be performed within a certain period.
- the delay rule by maximizing the MG utilization efficiency, the time required for measurement can be reduced, leading to improvement in mobility performance.
- the SMTC configuration differs between carriers, the operation of UE 200 becomes significantly complicated. For example, every time a measurement is instructed from the network, an available MG must be calculated according to the SMTC set for each carrier.
- the UE 200 can increase the degree of freedom in measurement. Specifically, since UE 200 does not necessarily need to use all MGs, the degree of freedom of measurement increases, such as securing MGs that do not execute measurement as necessary.
- the network will not be able to set a corresponding SMTC setting value other than the case in the end. For this reason, optimization of network operation is hindered, and the influence from the viewpoint of network operation is large.
- measurement in the MG can be performed while achieving both ease of mounting and mobility performance at a high level.
- the group to be measured can be determined based on the configuration of the SMTC (predetermined measurement method), specifically, the manner (state) of overlapping the SMTCs in the MG. For this reason, a delay rule that can ensure a certain MG utilization efficiency can be applied based on the state of overlapping SMTCs within the MG. As a result, both ease of mounting and mobility performance can be achieved at a higher level.
- the delay rule applied to each group is determined based on the number of carriers belonging to the group. Therefore, based on the number of carriers belonging to the group, a delay rule that can ensure a certain MG utilization efficiency can be applied. As a result, both ease of mounting and mobility performance can be achieved at a higher level.
- the delay regulation can be excluded. If the measurement timing based on the SMTC does not completely overlap, there is no need to apply the delay rule as described above. In addition, when the measurement timing based on the SMTC completely overlaps, it is possible to exclude a different delay specification from the above-described delay specification, such as simply performing scaling according to the number of carriers without discriminating any carrier. . Therefore, in a certain case, it is possible to suppress an increase in the processing load and the measurement delay of the UE 200.
- the SMTC has been described as an example, but is not necessarily limited to the SMTC.
- the scaling factor described above may be applied by replacing the SMTC configuration with the CSI-RS cycle and time position.
- the above-described method of classifying into groups and calculating the measurement delay is based on a similar rule that limits the number of carriers to be measured (for example, when a measurement rule is defined in a plurality of secondary cells (SCells), or when dual connectivity (DC) is used). May be applied to the definition of the delay in the measurement.

Description
3rd Generation Partnership Project(3GPP)は、Long Term Evolution(LTE)を仕様化し、LTEのさらなる高速化を目的としてLTE-Advanced(以下、LTE-Advancedを含めてLTEという)を仕様化している。

Intra-frequency measurement with gap
・Inter-frequency measurement
・Inter-RAT measurement

Inter-RAT measurement

Intra-frequency measurement with gap
Inter-frequency measurement
・Inter-RAT measurement
Inter-frequency measurement
・Inter-RAT measurement
