Abstract

L'invention concerne une machine d'excavation souterraine, comprenant un câble (15, 20) et une tête de coupe (10) à une extrémité du câble. La tête de coupe (10) comprend une pluralité de buses qui éjectent un fluide de coupe sous pression pour réaliser une coupe dans un substrat souterrain, et au moins certaines des buses sont conçues pour tourner autour d'axes différents les unes par rapport aux autres. L'invention concerne en outre une machine d'exploitation minière comprenant un câble d'exploitation minière (15, 20) et une tête d'exploitation minière (10) à une extrémité du câble d'exploitation minière. Le câble d'exploitation minière comprend une pluralité de parties de longueur rigide (16) et une pluralité de parties de courbure actionnables (17), chaque partie de courbure actionnable (17) étant reliée entre deux parties de longueur rigide (16) immédiatement adjacentes, de sorte que les parties de longueur rigide et les parties de coude actionnables s'alternent les unes avec les autres le long de la longueur du câble d'exploitation minière.
