Description

The present invention relates to a cap for closing a can.
Conventionally, the cap for sealing the mouth of the can has been provided with a sealing member made of a resin material that is in close contact with the mouth on the inner surface of the cap body. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Publication No. 2017-178421 discloses a technique in which the cap body and the sealing member are not bonded to each other in order to reduce the opening torque when the cap is opened. ing. When the sealing member is not bonded as described above, a locking projection that protrudes inward is formed on the skirt portion of the cap body, and the sealing member is locked so that the sealing member does not fall off.
Also, in the case where a cap is used for a positive pressure can having a positive internal pressure, a technique of forming a vent slit in the cap to release the internal pressure when opening the cap is known.
Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2017-178421
However, if the cap is provided with a vent slit, the cut end of the vent slit may cause a discomfort in the hand when the cap is opened, and may reduce the tactile sensation when the cap is opened. Further, at the time of opening the cap, there is a possibility that the contents may be scattered from the vent slit together with the gas in the can, and a technique for suppressing the scatter of the contents from the vent slit is required.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a cap capable of improving the tactile sensation at the time of opening and suppressing the scattering of contents.
According to one aspect of the present invention, a cap includes a cap body having a disc-shaped top plate and a tubular skirt provided on a peripheral portion of the top plate, and the cap being separately provided from the cap body. A sealing member provided in the cap body facing the plate portion and having an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the skirt portion; and the sealing member provided on the skirt portion and away from the top plate portion. The skirt includes a bead that restricts and supports the movement of the member and that projects annularly inward in the radial direction of the skirt, and a slit provided in the bead.
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a cap capable of improving the tactile sensation at the time of opening and suppressing the scattering of contents.

Hereinafter, a cap 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 6.
FIG. 1 is a side view showing a configuration of a cap 1 according to a first embodiment of the present invention in a partial cross section. FIG. 2 is a side view showing the configuration of the cap 1. FIG. 3 is a sectional view showing a configuration of the cap 1 with a part thereof omitted. FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view showing a configuration of a main part of the cap 1 and showing movement of gas in the can 100 when the cap 1 is separated from the mouth 110 of the can 100. FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of the cap body 11 used for the cap 1 along a line VV in FIG. FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of the bead portion 32 and the slit portion 33 of the cap main body 11 by a cross section taken along line VI-VI in FIG. 2 and partially omitting other configurations.
As shown in FIG. 1, the cap 1 is attached to the mouth 110 of the can 100, and is tightly wound around the mouth 110 of the can 100 so as to seal the can 100.
Here, the can 100 is a so-called bottle-type container for storing beverages and the like. For example, the can container 100 is made of a metal material such as an aluminum alloy or a surface-treated steel sheet having a resin film laminated on both sides. The can 100 is formed in a cylindrical shape having one end reduced in diameter and having a different outer diameter. The can container 100 has, at one end, an opening 110 for discharging the stored beverage. The mouth part 110 has a jaw part 111, a male screw part 112, and a curl part 113 on the outer peripheral surface from the bottom side of the can 100 toward the end.
The jaw 111 is formed by projecting in an annular shape. The curl portion 113 has a smaller diameter than the male screw portion 112. The outer diameter of the curl portion 113 is smaller than the inner diameter of the cap 1. The curl portion 113 is configured by folding the end of the mouth 110 at least once. The curl portion 113 forms an opening for discharging the beverage stored in the can 100.
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the cap 1 includes a cap body 11 and a sealing member 12 provided separately in the cap body 11.
The cap body 11 is formed of a material in which a resin film layer is formed on a metal material such as an aluminum alloy. The cap body 11 is formed by subjecting a thin, flat plate-shaped material to cup-shaped drawing, knurling, and roll-on molding.
The cap body 11 includes a disk-shaped top plate 21 and a cylindrical skirt 22 provided integrally with the periphery of the top plate 21. In the cap body 11, the top plate portion 21 and the skirt portion 22 are integrally and continuously formed by an annular and curved corner portion 23.
The top plate portion 21 is disk-shaped, and has a main surface that is flat. One end of the skirt portion 22 is continuous with the top plate portion 21 via the corner portion 23, and the other end is open. The skirt portion 22 includes a plurality of concave portions 31, a bead portion 32, a plurality of slit portions 33, a female screw portion 34, and a tamper evidence band portion 35 between an end portion on the side of the top plate portion 21 and an open end portion. Is provided.
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 6, the plurality of concave portions 31, the bead portions 32, the plurality of slit portions 33, the female screw portions 34, and the tamper evidence band portion 35 are formed by the top plate portion 21, the plurality of concave portions 31, and the bead portions. 32, a knurling or roll-on molding of a cup-shaped molded product comprising the cylindrical skirt portion 22 and the corner portion 23 on which the plurality of slit portions 33, female screw portions 34 and tamper evidence band portions 35 are not formed. And the like.
、 As shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 5, the plurality of recesses 31 are provided between the top plate 21 and the bead 32 of the skirt 22. The plurality of concave portions 31 are arranged, for example, at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the skirt portion 22. The plurality of recesses 31 are formed such that the axial dimension of the cap 1 is longer than the circumferential dimension of the cap 1.
As shown in FIGS. 1, 2, 4, and 6, the bead portion 32 is formed in an annular shape. The bead portion 32 is configured such that the skirt portion 22 protrudes annularly inward in the radial direction on the tip end side of the skirt portion 22 with respect to the plurality of concave portions 31. The inner diameter of the bead portion 32 is smaller than the outer diameter of the sealing member 12. For this reason, the bead part 32 constitutes a locking part that regulates the movement of the sealing member 12 arranged on the top plate 21 in the direction away from the top plate 21. Specifically, as shown in FIGS. 1, 3, and 4, in the bead portion 32, the portion having the smallest inner diameter is set smaller than the outer diameter of the sealing member 12, and It inclines to the skirt part 22 with respect to the axis of the skirt part 22.
As shown in FIGS. 1, 2, 4 and 6, the plurality of slits 33 are provided in the bead 32. The plurality of slit portions 33 are arranged at equal intervals along the circumferential direction of the bead portion 32. For example, the slit portions 33 are provided at eight positions in the bead portion 32 at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. The slit 33 is formed by a cut provided in a part of the bead 32. The slit portion 33 releases the internal pressure of the sealed can 100 when the cap 1 is removed from the can 100.
As shown in FIGS. 1, 3 and 4, the slit portion 33 is provided at a position on the distal end side of the skirt portion 22 with respect to a portion of the bead portion 32 which is the innermost periphery in the radial direction. In other words, the slit portion 33 is provided on the distal end side of the skirt portion 22 with respect to the portion where the inner diameter of the bead portion 32 is the smallest. The slit portion 33 is formed by a notch extending in a circumferential direction provided in a part of the bead portion 32. For this reason, as shown in FIGS. 1, 3, and 4, the slit portion 33 has a first end portion 33 a on the top plate 21 side and a second end portion 33 b on the tip end side of the skirt portion 22.
The first end 33 a and the second end 33 b of the slit 33 are formed by a part of the bead 32. The first end 33a is radially inward and extends from the top plate 21 toward the tip of the skirt 22. In other words, as shown in FIG. 4, when the can 1 is placed below and the cap 1 is placed above with the cap 1 covered with the mouth 110 of the can 100, the first end 33 a 1 and extends downward.
Also, for example, as shown in FIG. 4, the tip of the first end 33a is bent in the axial direction of the cap 1 and extends toward the tip of the cap 1 in the axial direction of the cap 1. Here, the expression that the distal end of the first end 33a extends toward the distal end of the cap 1 in the axial direction does not require that the extension of the first end 33a has a predetermined length. A part of the first end 33a may be bent so that the tip of the end 33a is directed in the axial direction, so that the tip is directed in the axial direction.
The second end 33b is radially inward and extends from the tip end of the skirt 22 toward the top plate 21. In other words, as shown in FIG. 4, with the cap 1 covered with the mouth 110 of the can 100 and the can 100 as a lower part and the cap 1 as an upper part, the second end 33 b 1 and extends upward.
As shown in FIG. 4, in such a slit portion 33, the tip of the first end 33 a is located more inward in the radial direction of the skirt 22 than the tip of the second end 33 b. That is, in the slit portion 33, the tip of the first end 33a is located closer to the center of the skirt 22 than the tip of the second end 33b.
The female screw portion 34 is configured to be screwable with the male screw portion 112 of the can 100. The female screw portion 34 is formed together with the can 100. That is, the female screw portion 34 is not formed in the cap 1 before being attached to the can 100, but is formed when the female screw portion 34 is integrally combined with the can 100.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the tamper evidence band portion 35 engages with the jaw 111 of the can 100 in the direction in which the cap 1 is separated from the can 100 and in the axial direction of the cap 1. I do. In addition, the tamper evidence band portion 35 has a broken portion 35 a that breaks when the cap 1 is opened and detaches from the skirt portion 22. That is, the tamper evidence band portion 35 is formed by forming a slit except for the break portion 35a on the end side of the skirt portion 22, and is integrated with the can container 100 similarly to the female screw portion 34. At times, the jaw 111 of the can container 100 is engaged with the jaw 111 by being shaped.
As shown in FIG. 3, the sealing member 12 is formed separately from the cap body 11. That is, the sealing member 12 is disposed so as to face the top plate 21 and the skirt 22, and is not bonded to the cap 1. Specifically, as shown in FIGS. 1, 3 and 4, the sealing member 12 is formed in a disk shape and has a diameter larger than the inner diameter of a bead portion 32 provided on the skirt portion 22 of the cap body 11. Has an outer diameter set to Further, the outer diameter of the sealing member 12 is set to be equal to or slightly smaller than the diameter of a tangent circle that contacts the inner surfaces of the plurality of recesses 31 provided in the skirt portion 22 of the cap body 11.
The sealing member 12 is engaged with the bead portion 32 projecting in the radial direction from the inner peripheral surface of the skirt portion 22 in the axial direction of the cap main body 11, so that the sealing member 12 is prevented from dropping off the cap main body 11 in the axial direction. It is provided integrally with the cap body 11. The sealing member 12 is brought into contact with the inner surfaces of the plurality of recesses 31 of the skirt portion 22 to engage in the radial direction of the cap body 11, so that the center is located within a predetermined range on the axis of the cap body 11. To be centered.
The sealing member 12 includes a disk-shaped sliding layer 41 and a disk-shaped sealing layer 42 integrally laminated on the sliding layer 41. The sealing member 12 is formed by integrally molding the sliding layer 41 and the sealing layer 42 with different resin materials. The sealing member 12 includes, for example, a flat plate portion 12a having a uniform thickness, and a curved surface portion 12b having a curved outer peripheral surface on the top plate 21 side. In other words, the sealing member 12 is formed in a disk shape, and the ridge on the top plate 21 side is formed of a curved surface having a predetermined curvature. Further, in the sealing member 12, the curved surface portion 12b constituting the outer peripheral edge side is configured to be thinner than the flat plate portion 12a, and the curved surface portion 12b is gradually reduced in thickness from the center side to the outer peripheral edge. The tip of the portion 12b, that is, the outer peripheral edge is configured to be thinnest than other portions. The flat plate portion 12a forms a sealed portion in which a part on the curved surface portion 12b side contacts the mouth portion 110 of the can container 100. For example, the flat plate portion 12a is configured such that a sealed portion is thicker than other portions.
The sliding layer 41 is made of a resin material having a higher hardness (harder) than the sealing layer 42. The sliding layer 41 is made of a resin material that does not have adhesiveness and tackiness with the resin film layer of the cap body 11. That is, the sliding layer 41 is not adhered to the top plate 21, and slides on the top 21 in a state of being in contact with the top 21.
Examples of the resin material used for the sliding layer 41 include olefin resins such as polypropylene resin and polyethylene resin, polyester resins such as polyethylene terephthalate, styrene resin, and acrylic resin. In the present embodiment, the sliding layer 41 is made of, for example, a polypropylene resin. Note that a pigment, a lubricant, a softener, and the like can be appropriately added to the resin material used for the sliding layer 41.
The sliding layer 41 is provided separately from the cap body 11 so as to face the top plate 21 of the cap body 11. The sliding layer 41 is configured to be slidable with the top plate 21 of the cap body 11 by using a resin material. The sliding layer 41 is formed in a disk shape. The outer diameter of the sliding layer 41 is smaller than the inner diameter of the skirt portion 22, smaller than the inscribed circle of the plurality of recesses 31, and larger than the minimum inner diameter of the bead portion 32. .
The sliding layer 41 includes a first flat plate portion 41 a having a uniform thickness, a first curved surface portion 41 b having an outer peripheral surface on the top plate 21 side formed of a curved surface, and a sealing layer of the first curved surface portion 41 b. And a protrusion 41c provided on the 42 side. The thickness of the first flat plate portion 41a from the center of the sliding layer 41 to the outer peripheral side of the portion of the mouth portion 110 facing the curl portion 113 is uniform.
The first curved surface portion 41b is configured such that the thickness of the portion from the outer peripheral side to the outer peripheral edge of the portion of the mouth portion 110 facing the curl portion 113 gradually decreases toward the outer peripheral edge. The protruding portion 41c is formed in an annular protruding shape that is inclined or inclined toward the axial direction of the sliding layer 41 and the surface direction of the top plate portion 21 toward the open end of the skirt portion 22. You. The thickness of the protrusion 41c gradually decreases from the first curved surface 41b toward the tip.
The sealing layer 42 is made of a resin material having a relatively lower hardness (softer) than the sliding layer 41. Examples of the resin material used for the sealing layer 42 include an olefin resin, a polyester resin, a styrene resin, and an acrylic resin. More preferably, a blend material of a styrene elastomer and a polypropylene resin, and a low density polyethylene and a styrene resin Elastomer blend materials, polyester-based elastomers and the like can be mentioned. In the present embodiment, the sealing layer 42 is made of, for example, a mixed material of a styrene-based elastomer and a polypropylene resin. In addition, a pigment, a lubricant, a softener, and the like can be appropriately added to the resin material used for the sealing layer 42.
The sealing layer 42 is integrally provided on the main surface of the sliding layer 41 on the side facing the mouth 110. The sealing layer 42 is formed in a disk shape. The outer diameter of the sealing layer 42 is configured to be larger than the outer diameter of the curled portion 113 of the mouth 110, and is configured to be substantially the same as the outer diameter of the sliding layer 41.
The sealing layer 42 has a second flat plate portion 42a in which the portion facing the mouth portion 110 is thicker than the other portions, and a second flat plate portion in which the outer surface of the outer peripheral edge on the top plate portion 21 side is formed as a curved surface. It has a curved surface portion 42b and an annular recess 42c provided on a main surface of the second curved surface portion 42b opposite to the sliding layer 41 side. The main surface of the second flat plate portion 42a that faces the curl portion 113 is configured to be flat. For example, the second flat plate portion 42a has the same diameter as the first flat plate portion 41a of the sliding layer 41. The second flat plate portion 42a forms the flat plate portion 12a of the sealing member 12 together with the first flat plate portion 41a.
The second curved surface portion 42b has, for example, a main surface flush with the main surface of the second flat plate portion 42a facing the curl portion 113. The second curved surface portion 42b is configured such that the thickness of the portion from the outer peripheral side to the outer peripheral edge of the portion of the mouth portion 110 facing the curl portion 113 gradually decreases toward the outer peripheral edge. The second curved surface portion 42b is stacked on the first curved surface portion 41b and the protrusion 41c. The second curved surface portion 42b, together with the first curved surface portion 41b and the projection 41c, constitutes the curved surface portion 12b of the sealing member 12.
The depression 42c is, for example, an annular depression having a semicircular cross section. Such a sealing member 12 is arranged such that the cap 1 is arranged with the top plate 21 facing upward, and when the sealing member 12 falls below the top plate 21, it comes into contact with the bead portion 32. Locked, the downward movement of the sealing member 12 in the direction of gravity is restricted. Further, when the cap 1 is removed from the can 100, the sealing member 12 is separated from the mouth 110 and moves with the cap body 11 by being supported by the bead portion 32.
A method of manufacturing the cap 1 configured as described above will be briefly described below. First, for example, the cap body 11 on the cup is formed from a metal plate material. Next, the cap body 11 is placed on the lower mold in such a manner that the top plate 21 is located on the lower side in the direction of gravity. Next, the molten or softened resin material for the sliding layer 41 is supplied onto the top plate 21, and the resin material supplied by the upper mold is compression-molded to form the sliding layer 41. Next, a molten or softened resin material for the sealing layer 42 is supplied onto the sliding layer 41, the resin material supplied by the upper mold is compression-molded, and the sealing layer 42 is formed on the sliding layer 41. . Thereafter, the concave portion 31, the bead portion 32, the slit portion 33, the tamper evidence band portion 35, and the like are formed in the skirt portion 22 of the cap body 11. For example, the bead portion 32 is formed by pressing a forming tool having a curved tip against the outer surface of the skirt portion 22. The slit portion 33 is formed by arranging a forming tool having a cutting edge on the outer surface side and the inner surface side of the skirt portion 22, and sandwiching the formed bead portion 32 from the outer surface side and the inner surface side and shearing the same. The cap 1 is manufactured by such a process.
In addition, when the manufactured cap 1 is attached to the mouth 110 of the can 100, the top plate 21 of the cap 1 is oriented upward. At this time, the sealing member 12 is positioned at the center of the cap body 11 by abutting on the inner surfaces of the plurality of recesses 31. When the sealing member 12 is lowered by a predetermined distance, the sealing member 12 is supported by the bead portion 32, and the movement in the lowering direction is restricted. When the cap 1 is covered with the mouth 110 in this state, a predetermined portion of the sealing layer 42 of the sealing member 12 faces the mouth 110. In this state, the skirt portion 22 is rolled on while the corner portion 23 of the cap body 11 is drawn and formed, whereby the cap 1 is fixedly wound around the mouth portion 110 of the can 100.
According to the cap 1 configured as described above, the skirt portion 22 is provided with the bead portion 32 for restricting the movement of the sealing member 12 in the axial direction of the cap 1, and the bead portion 32 controls the internal pressure of the can 100. A slit section 33 for opening is provided. With this configuration, since the slit portion 33 is provided in the bead portion 32 that is annularly depressed inward from the skirt portion 22, the slit portion 33 is located radially inward of the outer peripheral surface of the skirt portion 22. become.
Therefore, when the cap 1 is opened by operating the cap 1, the slit portion 33 does not touch a finger, and the slit portion 33 does not touch the hand, so that a feeling of strangeness does not occur. For this reason, even if the cap 1 is provided with the slit part 33, the tactile sensation at the time of opening can be improved.
Further, since the distance from the slit portion 33 to the outer peripheral surface of the skirt portion 22 can be ensured, it is possible to prevent the contents from scattering along with the gas in the can container 100 when the internal pressure of the can container 100 is released.
Further, since the slit portion 33 is disposed on the tip side of the skirt portion 22, that is, on the lower side in the posture attached to the can container 100, than the portion where the inner diameter of the bead portion 32 becomes smallest, the sealing member is opened at the time of opening. The skirt portion 22 is located below a gap created by the separation between the skirt portion 12 and the mouth portion 110. For this reason, the moving distance of the gas and the contents becomes longer, and the gas moves downward from the inside of the can 100 through the gap between the sealing member 12 and the mouth 110, and moves from the slit 33 to the atmosphere. Become. For this reason, since the movement of the contents to the slit portion 33 can be prevented as much as possible, the scattering of the contents from the slit portion 33 can be further suppressed.
Furthermore, in the slit portion 33, the tip of the first end 33a is located radially inward of the skirt portion 22 more than the tip of the second end 33b. For this reason, as shown by the arrow in FIG. 4, the gas and the contents that have moved downward through the gap between the sealing member 12 and the mouth 110 are further transferred to the tip of the first end 33a and the tip of the second end 33b. It will move diagonally upward from between. As a result, the movement of the content is blocked by the first end 33a of the slit portion 33, and the content can be further prevented from scattering from the slit portion 33.
In addition, by making the end of the first end 33a extend downward, the movement of the gas and the contents increases from the downward movement at the first end 33a to the upward as shown by the arrow in FIG. The movement of the contents from the slit 33 can be further suppressed.
In other words, the configuration is such that the tip of the first end 33a is located more inward in the radial direction of the skirt portion 22 than the tip of the second end 33b, and the tip of the first end 33a extends downward. Thus, the tip of the first end 33a has a function of blocking the liquid that is the content that moves with the gas. Thereby, the slit portion 33 has an effect of suppressing scattering of contents.
Further, since the cap 1 has a configuration in which the plurality of concave portions 31 are provided on the top plate portion 21 side of the bead portion 32 of the skirt portion 22, the centering of the sealing member 12 can be performed by the inner surface of the concave portion 31. The plurality of recesses 31 of the cap 1 improve the grip of the cap 1 when the cap is opened, and also have the effect of preventing the upper portion of the cap 1 from contracting due to the formation of the bead portion during manufacturing.
As described above, according to the cap 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention, by providing the slit portion 33 in the bead portion 32, it is possible to improve the tactile sensation at the time of opening and to suppress the scattering of contents. Becomes
Note that the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment. For example, the slit 33 is not limited to the above configuration. In the above-described example, the slit portion 33 may have only a configuration provided in the bead portion 32 that is annularly depressed inward from the skirt portion 22. The slit portion 33 having this configuration can also improve the tactile sensation of the cap 1 when the cap is opened and suppress the scattering of the contents. Similarly, the slit portion 33 is configured such that the distal end of the first end portion 33a is located at the same position in the radial direction of the skirt portion 22 as the distal end of the second end portion 33b, or located outward in the radial direction of the skirt portion 22. It may be. Further, the slit 33 may have a shape in which the tip of the first end 33a is directed in the same direction as the other part of the first end 33a. However, in consideration of the suppression of the scattering of the contents, the slit portion 33 is located on the distal end side of the skirt portion 22 with respect to the portion where the inner diameter of the bead portion 32 is minimized, and the distal end of the first end portion 33a is aligned with the axis. It is preferable that the first end portion 33a is disposed radially inward of the second end portion 33b in the radial direction.
Note that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be variously modified in an implementation stage without departing from the scope of the invention.
