Definitions
- the present invention relates to a dot sight for aiming by superimposing a point image of a light source projected on an objective lens on a target.
- the dot sight is an optical sight used for handguns and rifles.
- the dot sight forms an aiming point by projecting a point image of a light source onto an objective lens.
- There are two types of dot sites a tube type having a lens barrel and an open type without a lens barrel.
- Conventional tube-type dot sites are disclosed, for example, in WO 01/06199 (Patent Document 1) and WO 2006/133030 (Patent Document 2).
- 12A and 12B show a configuration of a conventional tubular dot site 100.
- the dot sight 100 has a lens barrel including an outer cylinder 110 and an inner cylinder 111.
- the inner cylinder 111 is inserted into the front opening 110a of the outer cylinder 110, and is configured to be movable in the up, down, left, and right directions inside the outer cylinder 110.
- a configuration for enabling the inner cylinder 111 to move in the up, down, left, and right directions is disclosed in, for example, FIG. 5A of International Publication No. 2008/153741 (Patent Document 3).
- Two objective lenses 112 are attached to the front opening 111a of the inner cylinder 111.
- a layer 113 that reflects only light of a predetermined wavelength is coated between the two objective lenses 112.
- a light source 114 such as an LED is provided in the vicinity of the rear opening 111b inside the inner cylinder 111.
- the emission color of the light source 114 is, for example, red.
- the layer 113 between the two objective lenses 112 reflects only light having a red emission wavelength.
- An eyepiece (not shown) is attached to a rear opening of the outer cylinder 110.
- 12A indicates the path of light emitted from the light source 114.
- Light emitted from the light source 114 is reflected by the layer 113 between the two objective lenses 112.
- the point image of the light source 114 is projected on the surface of the layer 113, and forms an aiming point (POA) at the center of the objective lens 112.
- POA aiming point
- a user who is a shooter looks into the dot sight 100 through an eyepiece, and aims at a target point formed at the center of the objective lens 112 by overlapping the target with the target.
- the position of the aiming point of the dot sight 100 needs to be adjusted according to the gun in which the dot sight 100 is used. That is, the trajectory of the gun is not constant because it is determined by various factors. For this reason, the position of the aiming point of the dot site 100 is adjusted so as to match the position of the landing point of the gun in which the dot site 100 is used. This adjustment is commonly referred to as "zeroing.” In the conventional dot sight 100, the position of the aiming point is adjusted by moving the inner cylinder 111 provided with the light source 114 in up, down, left, and right directions.
- the conventional dot sight 100 causes mechanical vignetting due to the inner cylinder 111 inserted inside the outer cylinder 110. Mechanical vignetting will be described with reference to FIG. 12B.
- the field line L in FIG. 12B indicates the field of view of the dot site 100, that is, the range seen through the dot site 100.
- the inner cylinder 111 interferes with the line of sight L and forms a black edge (see the black circle in the figure) around the field of view of the dot site 100.
- the black rim formed by the inner cylinder 111 narrows the field of view of the dot site 100, making it difficult to aim quickly and accurately.
- the conventional dot sight 100 has a configuration in which the inner cylinder 111 is elastically supported by a spring so that the inner cylinder 111 can be moved in the vertical and horizontal directions (FIG. 5A of Patent Document 3).
- the inner cylinder 111 is made of metal and has a relatively large mass. For this reason, the inner cylinder 111 supported by the spring is easily moved by the impact (gravitational acceleration) when the gun is shot, and the aiming point zeroed is likely to shift. Further, the spring always supports the heavy inner cylinder 111 and absorbs the impact of shooting a gun, so that the spring is easily fatigued and has low durability. Due to these drawbacks, the conventional dot site 100 could not maintain high aiming accuracy for a long time.
- the conventional dot sight 100 has a configuration in which the position of the aiming point is adjusted by moving the inner cylinder 111 in the up, down, left, and right directions inside the outer cylinder 110. For this reason, the movement amount of the aiming point was extremely small. By increasing the diameter of the outer cylinder 110 or decreasing the diameter of the inner cylinder 111, the amount of movement of the aiming point increases. However, when the outer cylinder 110 is enlarged, the dot site 100 becomes large. On the other hand, if the inner cylinder 111 is made smaller, the range of the mechanical vignetting described above becomes wider.
- a conventional dot sight has a structure in which a structure protrudes from left and right side walls of a lens barrel.
- the dot site disclosed in Patent Document 2 has a configuration in which a battery holder and a tube protrude from left and right side walls of an outer cylinder.
- the optical gun sight disclosed in Patent Document 3 has a configuration in which an adjustment assembly and a bias assembly are projected from left and right side walls of a housing.
- the user uses the dot site with both eyes open. That is, the user looks into the dot site with one eye, and visually recognizes the target and its surroundings with the other eye.
- the structure projecting from the left and right side walls of the lens barrel impairs the view of the other eye that is not looking into the dot site, and reduces the visibility when the user aims.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a compact dot sight in which an inner cylinder is eliminated and a structure does not protrude from left and right side walls of a lens barrel.
- a dot sight of the present invention comprises a lens barrel, an objective lens fixed to a front opening of the lens barrel, and an eyepiece fixed to a rear opening of the lens barrel.
- a dot adjusting mechanism capable of adjusting the position of the point image projected on the objective lens by moving the lens barrel in a direction, wherein the lens barrel has a diameter of the front opening.
- the inner surface between the objective lens and the eyepiece has a substantially truncated cone shape, and the internal space between the objective lens and the eyepiece, Light source and said Absent mechanical and optical structure other than lifting portion, the point image is projected directly on the objective lens from the light source.
- both the power supply circuit and the dot adjustment mechanism are provided above the lens barrel.
- the dot adjustment mechanism moves the light source in a vertical direction, and moves the first mechanism in a horizontal direction.

Abstract
Description
<POAシフト>

<鏡筒>

<レンズ>
