Abstract

La présente invention concerne des processus de production de dérivés de bêta-lactone et de bêta-lactone à l'aide de catalyseurs hétérogènes. Dans des modes de réalisation préférés de la présente invention, les processus comprennent : le passage d'un flux d'alimentation comprenant un réactif époxyde et un réactif de monoxyde de carbone vers une zone de réaction; la mise en contact du réactif époxyde et du réactif de monoxyde de carbone avec un catalyseur hétérogène pour produire un produit de bêta-lactone dans la zone de réaction : et l'élimination du produit de bêta-lactone de la zone de réaction. Dans des modes de réalisation préférés, le catalyseur hétérogène comprend un support solide contenant un groupe fonctionnel acide de Lewis cationique et un composé carbonyle métallique comprenant au moins un composé carbonyle métallique anionique ou un composé carbonyle métallique neutre. Dans certains modes de réalisation préférés, le réactif époxyde et le réactif de monoxyde de carbone ont un contenu d'origine biologique.
