  • fresh saliva was collected from beneath the tongue from volunteers using a medical grade cotton bud and was applied to the test strip’s sample application zone by forming a droplet. After utterly absorbing the sufficient amount of saliva on the strip, the sample would reach detection zone, and enzymatic reaction between the enzyme and salivary analytes would initiate a pH change, resulting in a change in strip color that was recorded by using RGB detector on the handheld instrument.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un biocapteur, un système non invasif et un procédé de détection de substances à analyser multiples dans un fluide oral, en particulier : le glucose, l'urée et le pH. La présente invention concerne un biocapteur surveillant des bandelettes et un dispositif à main portatif. Le biocapteur comprend un trou imprimé de cire pour détecter la substance à analyser (120) formant une zone de détection et un trou imprimé de cire pour collecter le fluide oral (110) qui, lors du chauffage, forment un microcanal hydrophobe (130) entre les trous pour l'écoulement du fluide oral, le trou pour détecter la substance à analyser (120) est immobilisé avec une solution suivie d'un revêtement d'alcool polyvinylique et le papier fixé sur la bandelette (105) bloque partiellement le microcanal hydrophobe pour réguler le débit du fluide oral.
