Abstract

The invention relates to an alloy for silverware, jewelry, timepieces or similar products, consisting of a mixture of 50 to 90 wt.% copper, 0.1 to 25 wt.% silver, 0.1 to 40 wt.% gold, and optionally a total of 0.1 to 20 wt.% of one or more other components selected from among palladium, zinc, platinum, iridium, nickel, iron and silicon.
