Abstract
The invention relates to a carrier system and to a method for turning a preferably flat workpiece by approximately 180°, comprising at least one movably guided carrier (2) having a carrier plate (7) for the workpiece, a controllable rotary drive (5) which is capable of rotating the carrier (2) about a main axis of rotation (3), wherein the carrier (2) is capable of carrying out the turning about the main axis of rotation (3) over a period of time ΔΤ. In order to create a carrier system and a method for turning and centering a workpiece, which has a simple design and is inexpensive, it is ensured that a secondary axis (4) is provided, about which the carrier (2) or the carrier plate (7) can be tilted back and forth by an angle α within the period of time ΔT by means of a tilting drive (10).
