If the spring latch does not enter into the shape of the box-like body of the lock (therefore exiting from the respective opening present in the strike plate of the jamb) then the door leaf cannot be opened.
  • the presence of plays (gaps of imprecise breadth) between the door leaf and the frame can determine the non-insertion or partial insertion of the spring latch into the respective accommodation cavity defined in the frame (on the jamb).
  • the spring latch will need to be removed: in such configuration the screw remains facing outward and, given its narrow diameter, it can be easily damaged as a consequence of involuntary impacts. Damage to the screw on which the spring latch is coupled can render the entire lock unusable.
  • the aim of the present invention is to solve the above mentioned drawbacks, by providing an adjustable spring latch for locks that can be easily arranged in any configuration comprised between that of maximum protrusion and that of minimum protrusion.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un loquet à ressort réglable (1), conçu pour des verrous (A), comprenant un corps en forme de boîte (B) à l'intérieur duquel des mécanismes de levier sont associés fonctionnellement pour actionner au moins un loquet à ressort (1) et au moins un loquet coulissant, les deux pouvant se déplacer depuis une configuration rétractée à une configuration en saillie par rapport au corps en forme de boîte (B). Le loquet à ressort comprend un trou traversant (2), aligné avec la direction de coulissement à l'intérieur du verrou (A), destiné à recevoir de façon rotative un élément tubulaire (3) qui est pourvu d'un filetage interne. Une broche filetée fixe (4), faisant partie intégrante d'un mécanisme à levier respectif servant à actionner le verrou à ressort (1), est pourvue d'un filetage externe pour être couplée à l'élément tubulaire (3), le vissage et le dévissage de l'élément tubulaire (3) sur la broche filetée (4) provoquant le coulissement du loquet à ressort (1) entre une configuration de saillie maximale et une configuration de saillie minimale par rapport au corps en forme de boîte (B).
