  • IP Internet Protocol
  • SIP Session Initiation Protocol
  • SIP is a protocol for establishing a session for multimedia communication such as voice and video on an IP network, and is widely used in various IP communication systems.
  • the IP system is mainstream also in mobile communication systems, and the necessity of SIP is high as a means for voice calls.
  • the bandwidth is reduced.
  • Patent Documents 1-3 SIP message compression technology and decompression technology (hereinafter, both technologies are collectively referred to as “compression decompression technology”) have been disclosed.
  • the conventional SIP message compression / decompression technology is a method that is intended for use on a general-purpose IP network. For example, in a system that performs communication with a relatively narrow bandwidth such as a train radio system, Band compression could not be fully resolved, and each device had to be equipped with complex compression and decompression algorithms.
  • an object of the present invention is to realize SIP message communication with high compression efficiency with a simple configuration in a mobile communication system.
  • the mobile communication system of the present invention performs communication using a compressed SIP message that does not include From and To, which are information elements of the SIP message, when the SIP message is transmitted and received between the ground device and the on-board device.
  • the mobile communication system of the present invention uses a compressed SIP message that does not include From and To, which are information elements of the SIP message, when the SIP message is transmitted / received between the ground device and the on-board device, information on the SIP message There is no duplication of information between the From and To elements and the IP header added to the SIP message. Accordingly, it is possible to perform SIP message communication with high compression efficiency with a simple configuration.

Description

 この発明は、IP(Internet Protocol)方式を用いて通信を行う移動体通信システムに関し、特にSIP(Session Initiation Protocol)メッセージを圧縮して通信を行う移動体通信システムに関する。

SIPメッセージが送信される際、SIPメッセージにはIPヘッダとTCP(Transmission Control Protocol)/UDP(User Datagram Protocol)ヘッダが付される。
