空気調和装置(1)の制御方法は、室外ユニット(2)と複数の室内ユニット(3)との間で冷媒配管(4)を介して冷媒を循環させるステップと、それぞれの室内ユニット(3)の運転状態を取得するステップと、室外ユニット(2)の圧縮機(5)の油量が低下したか否かを判定するステップと、油量が低下したと判定された場合に、運転中の室内ユニット(3)のみに対応する膨張弁(13)を開いて油回収運転を行うか、全ての室内ユニット(3)に対応する膨張弁(13)を開いて油回収運転を行うかを判定するステップとを含む。
