Description

배터리 관리 시스템 및 이를 포함하는 배터리 팩
실시 예는 배터리 관리 시스템 및 이를 포함하는 배터리 팩에 관한 것이다.
최근 커넥티드 카(connected car), 자율주행차(self-driving car) 등의 개발로, 차량에서 전기전자(Electrical/Electronic, E/E) 시스템의 비중이 증가하고, 외부에서 접근할 수 있는 차량의 통신 포인트가 증가하여, 해킹에 의한 악의적인 테러 가능성이 우려되고 있다.
예를 들어, 차고, 공용 주차장 등에 설치된 충전 시스템으로 차량에 탑재된 배터리팩을 충전하는 과정에서, 배터리 관리 시스템(Battery Management System, BMS)이나 차량 내 충전 시스템에 대한 해커의 악의적인 조작으로 배터리 팩이 과충전되어 폭발이 발생할 수도 있다.
실시 예를 통해 해결하고자 하는 기술적 과제는 외부 해킹 등으로부터 배터리팩을 보호하기 위한 배터리 관리 시스템을 제공하는 것이다.
상기 과제를 해결하기 위한 일 실시 예에 따른 배터리 관리 시스템은, 배터리 모듈을 구성하는 복수의 셀에 대해 셀 전압값을 검출하며, 상기 셀 전압값에 기초하여 상기 배터리 모듈의 과충전 또는 과방전 여부를 가리키는 알람 신호를 생성하는 집적회로, 상기 집적회로로부터 상기 셀 전압값을 수신하며, 상기 셀 전압값에 기반하여 상기 배터리 모듈의 과충전 또는 과방전 여부를 판정하고, 상기 판정의 결과에 대응하여 제1제어 신호를 출력하는 배터리 제어기, 상기 제1제어 신호 및 상기 알람 신호로부터, 제2제어 신호를 출력하는 논리회로, 상기 집적회로로부터 입력되는 상기 알람 신호를 소정 시간 지연시켜 상기 논리회로로 전달하는 지연회로, 및 상기 제2제어 신호에 따라서, 상기 배터리 모듈의 충방전을 제어하는 구동부를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 배터리 관리 시스템에서, 상기 집적회로는, 상기 셀 전압값이 제1임계치 이상이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과충전 상태로 판정하고, 상기 셀 전압값이 제2임계치 이하이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과방전 상태로 판정하며, 상기 배터리 제어기는, 상기 셀 전압값이 제3임계치 이상이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과충전 상태로 판정하고, 상기 셀 전압값이 제4임계치 이하이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과방전 상태로 판정하며, 상기 제1임계치는 상기 제3임계치보다 높고, 상기 제2임계치는 상기 제4임계치보다 낮을 수 있다.
상기 배터리 관리 시스템에서, 상기 배터리 제어기는, 상기 집적회로로부터 상기 알람 신호를 수신하며, 상기 집적회로는 상기 셀 전압값 및 상기 알람 신호를 서로 다른 통신 경로를 통해 상기 배터리 제어기로 전달할 수 있다.
상기 배터리 관리 시스템에서, 상기 구동부는, 상기 배터리 모듈이 포함된 배터리 팩의 팩 단자와 상기 배터리 모듈 사이에 연결되는 스위치를 개폐하여 상기 배터리 모듈의 충방전을 제어할 수 있다.
상기 배터리 관리 시스템에서, 상기 논리회로는, 상기 제1제어 신호 및 상기 알람 신호 중 적어도 하나의 신호가 과충전 또는 과방전 상태를 가리키면, 상기 스위치의 오픈을 지시하도록 상기 제2제어 신호를 출력할 수 있다.
상기 배터리 관리 시스템에서, 상기 논리회로는, 상기 제1제어 신호 및 상기 알람 신호를 입력받고, 상기 제2제어 신호를 출력하는 논리합 회로일 수 있다.
또한, 실시 예에 따른 배터리 팩은, 복수의 팩 단자, 복수의 셀을 포함하는 배터리 모듈, 상기 복수의 팩 단자 중 어느 하나와 상기 배터리 모듈 사이에 연결되는 스위치, 상기 복수의 셀의 셀 전압값을 검출하고, 상기 셀 전압값에 기초하여 상기 배터리 모듈의 과충전 또는 과방전 여부를 가리키는 알람 신호를 생성하는 집적회로, 상기 스위치를 제어하기 위한 제1제어 신호를 출력하는 배터리 제어기, 상기 제1제어 신호 및 상기 알람 신호로부터, 제2제어 신호를 출력하는 논리회로, 상기 집적회로로부터 입력되는 상기 알람 신호를 소정 시간 지연시켜 상기 논리회로로 전달하는 지연회로, 및 상기 제2제어 신호에 따라 상기 스위치를 개폐하는 드라이버를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 배터리 팩에서, 상기 집적회로는, 상기 셀 전압값이 제1임계치 이상이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과충전 상태로 판정하고, 상기 셀 전압값이 제2임계치 이하이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과방전 상태로 판정할 수 있다.
상기 배터리 팩에서, 상기 배터리 제어기는, 상기 집적회로로부터 상기 셀 전압값을 수신하며, 상기 셀 전압값이 상기 제1임계치다 낮은 제3임계치 이상이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과충전 상태로 판정하고, 상기 셀 전압값이 상기 제2임계치보다 높은 제4임계치 이하이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과방전 상태로 판정하며, 상기 과충전 또는 상기 과방전 판정 결과에 기초하여 상기 제1제어 신호를 출력할 수 있다.
상기 배터리 팩에서, 상기 배터리 제어기는, 상기 셀 전압값과는 다른 통신 경로를 통해 상기 집적회로로부터 상기 알람 신호를 수신하며, 상기 알람 신호에 기초하여 상기 제1제어 신호를 출력할 수 있다.
상기 배터리 팩에서, 상기 논리회로는, 상기 제1제어 신호 및 상기 알람 신호 중 적어도 하나의 신호가 과충전 또는 과방전 상태를 가리키면, 상기 스위치의 오픈을 지시하도록 상기 제2제어 신호를 출력할 수 있다.
상기 배터리 팩에서, 상기 논리회로는, 상기 제1제어 신호 및 상기 알람 신호를 입력받고, 상기 제2제어 신호를 출력하는 논리합 회로일 수 있다.
실시 예에 따르면, 배터리 팩을 외부의 불법적인 접근으로부터 이중으로 보호할 수 있다.

이하, 첨부한 도면을 참고로 하여 여러 실시 예들에 대하여 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자가 용이하게 실시할 수 있도록 상세히 설명한다. 실시 예들은 여러 가지 상이한 형태로 구현될 수 있으며 여기에서 설명하는 실시 예들에 한정되지 않는다.
실시 예들을 명확하게 설명하기 위해서 설명과 관계없는 부분은 생략하였으며, 명세서 전체를 통하여 동일 또는 유사한 구성요소에 대해서는 동일한 참조 번호를 붙이도록 한다. 따라서 이전 도면에 사용된 구성요소의 참조 번호를 다음 도면에서 사용할 수 있다.
또한, 도면에서 나타난 각 구성의 크기 및 두께는 설명의 편의를 위해 임의로 나타내었으므로, 실시 예들은 반드시 도시된 바에 한정되지 않는다. 도면에서 여러 층 및 영역을 명확하게 표현하기 위하여 두께 및 영역을 과장하여 나타낼 수 있다.
2개의 구성요소를 전기적으로 연결한다는 것은 2개의 구성요소를 직접(directly) 연결할 경우뿐만 아니라, 2개의 구성요소 사이에 다른 구성요소를 거쳐서 연결하는 경우도 포함한다. 다른 구성요소는 스위치, 저항, 커패시터 등을 포함할 수 있다. 실시 예들을 설명함에 있어서 연결한다는 표현은, 직접 연결한다는 표현이 없는 경우에는, 전기적으로 연결한다는 것을 의미한다.
도 1은 배터리 팩의 일 예를 도시한 것이다.
도 1을 참조하면, 배터리 팩을 구성하는 각 배터리 모듈(10)에는 아날로그 프론트 엔드 집적회로(Analog Front End IC, AFE IC)가 탑재된 슬레이브 보드(slave board)(20)가 결합된다.
통상적으로, AFE IC(21)는 셀 전압값 등 대응하는 배터리 모듈(10)의 상태 정보를 검출하며, 이를 마스터 보드(master board)(30) 내 배터리 제어기(31)로 전달하는 기능을 수행한다. AFE IC(21)는 과충전/과방전 판정 회로를 자체적으로 탑재하는 경우, 대응하는 배터리 모듈(10)의 과충전/과방전 상태를 검출하여 이에 대응하는 알람 신호를 배터리 제어기(31)로 전달하기도 한다.
배터리 제어기(31)는 각 AFE IC(21)로부터 대응하는 배터리 모듈(10)의 상태정보 또는 알람 신호를 수신하면, 이를 토대로 배터리 모듈(10)들의 과충전/과방전 상태를 판정한다. 그리고, 판정 결과에 따라서, 충방전 스위치부(40)를 제어하기 위한 제어 신호를 스위치 구동부(33)로 출력한다.
전술한 배터리 팩 구조에서는, 차량 네트워크와 연결되는 CAN(Controller Area Network) 통신 등을 통해 배터리 제어기(31)가 해킹되어 통제권이 외부로 넘어가는 경우, 배터리 제어기(31)에서 과충전/과방전을 검출하기 위한 임계치들이나, 충방전 스위치부(40)의 제어와 관련하여 악의적인 조작이 가능해진다.
최근에는 이러한 악의적인 조작을 방지하기 위해, 차량 시스템에 사이버 시큐리티(cyber civurity)를 도입하여 통신 암호화 기능 등을 추가하였다. 그러나, 이는 소프트웨어적인 처리로 해킹에 의해 무력화될 수 있는 바, 배터리 팩을 외부의 악의적인 조작으로부터 보호하기 위한 하드웨어적인 보안 방안이 요구된다.
따라서, 본 발명의 실시 예에서는 해킹으로 배터리 제어기가 오동작을 일으키는 경우에도 배터리 팩을 과충전/과방전으로부터 보호할 수 있는 배터리 관리 시스템을 제공한다.
이하, 도 2를 참조하여 실시 예에 따른 배터리 관리 시스템 및 이를 포함하는 배터리 팩에 대해 상세히 설명하기로 한다.
도 2는 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 배터리 팩을 개략적으로 도시한 것이다.
도 2를 참조하면, 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 배터리 팩은, 적어도 하나의 배터리 모듈(100), 배터리 관리 시스템(Battery Management System, BMS), 충방전 스위치부(400), 및 팩 단자들(P+, P-)을 포함하여 구성될 수 있다.
차량에 탑재되는 배터리 팩은 차량 시스템으로 고전압의 전기 에너지를 공급해야 한다. 이를 위해, 각 배터리 모듈(100)은 서로 직렬 또는 병렬 연결되는 복수의 셀을 포함할 수 있다.
배터리 관리 시스템은, 배터리 모듈(100)에 각각 결합되어 배터리 모듈(100)에 대한 상태 모니터링 및 밸런싱을 수행하는 적어도 하나의 슬레이브 보드(200)와, 차량 네트워크와 통신하며 배터리 팩의 전반적인 제어 동작을 수행하는 마스터 보드(300)를 포함할 수 있다.
슬레이브 보드(200)에는 대응하는 배터리 모듈(100)의 셀 상태(셀 전압, 셀 전류, 온도 등)를 모니터링하기 위한 AFE IC(210)와, 대응하는 배터리 모듈(100)을 구성하는 셀들 간의 밸런싱 기능을 수행하는 밸런싱 회로(미도시)가 탑재될 수 있다.
AFE IC(210)는 대응하는 배터리 모듈(100)의 셀 전압값 등 셀 상태 정보을 검출할 수 있다. AFE IC(210)에 의해 검출된 셀 전압값들은 팩 내부 통신을 통해 배터리 제어기(310)로 전달한다. 셀 전압값의 전달을 위한 AFE IC(210)와 배터리 제어기(310) 사이의 통신은, 데이지 체인(daisy chain) 방식으로 이루어지며, SPI(Serial Programming Interface), I2C, CAN, UART(Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter) 등 다양한 통신 기술이 사용될 수 있다.
AFE IC(210)는 대응하는 배터리 모듈(100)의 과충전/과방전 상태를 판정하기 위한 판정 회로(미도시)를 구비하며, 이를 이용하여 배터리 모듈(100)의 과충전/과방전을 자체적으로 검출할 수도 있다. 예를 들어, AFE IC(210)는 판정 회로를 통해 제1임계치 이상의 셀 전압값이 검출되면, 대응하는 배터리 모듈(100)을 과충전 상태로 판정할 수 있다. 또한, 예를 들어, AFE IC(210)는 판정 회로를 통해 제2임계치 이하의 셀 전압값이 검출되면, 대응하는 배터리 모듈(100)을 과방전 상태로 판정할 수 있다.
AFE IC(210)는 자체적으로 구비한 판정 회로를 통해 대응하는 배터리 모듈(100)의 과충전/과방전 상태가 검출되면, 이를 통지하기 위한 알람 신호를 배터리 제어기(310)로 출력한다. AFE IC(210)에서 발생하는 알람 신호는 배터리 제어기(310)에서 과충전/과방전에 대한 중복(redundancy) 체크를 위해 사용될 수 있다.
AFE IC(210)와 배터리 제어기(310) 사이의 알람 신호 전달을 위한 통신은 데이지 체인 방식으로 이루어지며, 셀 전압값을 전달하기 위한 통신 경로와는 별도의 통신 경로를 통해 이루어질 수 있다. 즉, AFE IC(210)에서 송신된 셀 전압값들과, 알람 신호는 서로 다른 통신 경로를 통해 배터리 제어기(310)로 전달될 수 있다.
마스터 보드(300)에는 배터리 제어기(310), CAN 트랜시버(320), 스위치 구동부(330), 지연부(340), 신호 조합부(350) 등이 탑재될 수 있다.
배터리 제어기(310)는 차량 네트워크와 통신하여, 배터리 팩의 상태 정보를 차량 네트워크로 전달하거나, 차량 네트워크로부터 제어 신호를 수신할 수 있다. 이를 위해, CAN 트랜시버(320)는 배터리 제어기(310)와 차량 네트워크 사이의 CAN 통신 인터페이스를 제공할 수 있다.
또한, 배터리 제어기(310)는 각 AFE IC(210)로부터 대응하는 배터리 모듈(10)의 셀 전압값들을 수신하고, 이를 이용하여 각 배터리 모듈(10)의 과충전/과방전을 판정할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 배터리 제어기(310)는 제3임계치 이상의 셀 전압값이 검출되면, 대응하는 배터리 모듈(100)을 과충전 상태로 판정할 수 있다. 또한, 예를 들어, 배터리 제어기(310)는 제4임계치 이하의 셀 전압값이 검출되면, 대응하는 배터리 모듈(100)을 과방전 상태로 판정할 수도 있다. 여기서, 배터리 제어기(310)에서 과충전을 판정하기 위해 사용하는 제3임계치는, AFE IC(210)에서 과충전 판정에 사용하는 제1임계치보다 낮게 설정될 수 있다. 또한, 배터리 제어기(310)에서 과방전을 판정하기 위해 사용하는 제4임계치는, AFE IC(210)에서 과방전 판정에 사용하는 제2임계치보다 높게 설정될 수 있다. 이는, 배터리 제어기(310)가 정상 동작 시에는 충방전 스위치부(400)에 대한 제어 우선권이 배터리 제어기(310)에 있고, 배터리 제어기(310)가 오작동하여 과충전/과방전 상태에 적절히 대응하지 못할 경우에는, 충방전 스위치부(400)에 대한 제어 권한이 AFE IC(210)로 넘어갈 수 있도록 하기 위한 것이다.
배터리 제어기(310)는 각 AFE IC(210)로부터 수신되는 알람 신호를 모니터링하여, 배터리 모듈(100)들의 과충전/과방전 상태를 검출할 수도 있다.
배터리 제어기(310)는 전술한 방식으로 과충전 또는 과방전 상태의 배터리 모듈(100)이 검출되면, 충방전 스위치부(400)의 스위칭을 제어하기 위한 제어 신호를 스위치 구동부(330)로 출력한다.
지연부(340)는 적어도 하나의 지연회로(341)를 포함하며, 각 지연회로(341)를 통해 AFE IC(210)들로부터 수신되는 알람 신호를 소정 시간 지연시켜 출력할 수 있다. 이는 배터리 제어기(310)가 악의적인 조작이 아닌 순간적인 이상에 의해 오동작하는 경우, 충방전 스위치부(400)에 대한 제어 권한을 AFE IC(210)로 넘기기 전에 오동작에서 회복되기까지의 시간을 허용하기 위한 것이다. 지연부(340)에 의해 지연되는 시간 지연값은, AFE IC(210)에서의 자체적인 과충전/과방전 검출로 발생한 알람 신호가, 실제 충방전 스위치부(400)로 전달되어 충방전 스위치부(400)를 스위칭시키기까지의 시간 인터벌(time intervel) 즉, FTTI(Fault Tolerant Time Interval)가 안전 상태(safe state)에 문제를 일으키지 않을 정도의 시간으로 설정될수 있다.
신호 조합부(350)는 적어도 하나의 논리회로(351)를 포함하며, 각 논리회로(351)를 통해 배터리 제어기(310)와 지연부(340)로부터 수신되는 제어 신호 및 알람 신호로부터 스위칭 제어 신호를 생성할 수 있다. 즉, 각 논리회로(351)는 배터리 제어기(310)로부터 입력되는 제어 신호와, 대응하는 지연회로(341)로부터 입력되는 알람 신호를 조합하여 스위칭 제어 신호를 생성하고, 이를 스위치 구동부(330)로 출력할 수 있다.
각 논리회로(351)는 입력되는 제어 신호와 알람 신호 중 어느 하나라도, 과충전 또는 과방전 상태를 가리키는 경우, 스위치 오픈(open)을 지시하는 스위칭 제어 신호를 출력할 수 있다. 또한, 각 논리회로(351)는 입력되는 제어 신호 및 알람 신호가 모두 정상 상태를 가리키는 경우, 스위치 닫힘(close)을 지시하는 스위칭 제어 신호를 출력할 수 있다. 이를 위해, 각 논리회로(351)는 논리 합(OR) 회로로 구성될 수 있다.
스위치 구동부(330)는 적어도 하나의 드라이버(331)를 포함하며, 각 드라이버(331)를 통해 대응하는 충방전 스위치부(400)의 스위칭을 제어할 수 있다. 즉, 각 드라이버(331)는 입력되는 스위칭 제어 신호가 스위치 오픈을 가리키면, 대응하는 스위치(410)를 오픈 상태로 제어하고, 입력되는 스위칭 제어 신호가 스위치 닫힘을 가리키면, 대응하는 스위치(410)를 닫힘 상태로 제어할 수 있다.
충방전 스위치부(400)는 배터리 모듈(100)들과 팩 단자(P+, P-)들 사이에 직렬 연결되는 적어도 하나의 스위치(410)를 포함할 수 있다.
각 스위치(410)는 배터리 모듈(100)들과 어느 하나의 팩 단자(P+, P-) 사이에 직렬 연결되며, 스위칭을 통해 배터리 모듈(100)들에 대한 충방전을 제어할 수 있다. 즉, 각 스위치(410)는 팩 단자(P+, P-)를 통해 연결되는 부하/충전장치(미도시)와 배터리 모듈(100) 사이의 전류 흐름을 개폐할 수 있다.
각 스위치(410)는 충방전 스위치부(400)에 포함되는 스위치(410)는, 릴레이(relay), 접촉기(contactor) 등, 고전압, 고전류 환경에 강인한 소자가 사용될 수 있다.
스위치(410)가 릴레이인 경우, 각 드라이버(331)는 입력되는 스위칭 제어 신호에 따라서 각 릴레이의 코일로 전류를 인가하거나 차단하여, 각 릴레이를 개폐할 수 있다. 또한, 스위치(410)가 접촉기(contactor)인 경우, 각 드라이버(331)는 입력되는 스위칭 제어 신호에 따라서 접촉기의 전자석으로 전류를 인가하거나 차단하여, 각 접촉기를 개폐할 수도 있다.
전술한 실시 예에 따르면, 배터리 관리 시스템은 배터리 제어기(310)에 의한 소프트웨어적인 보호 기능과 함께, 물리적인(하드웨어적인) 보호 기능을 탑재함으로써, 배터리 팩을 외부의 불법적인 접근으로부터 이중으로 보호할 수 있다. 특히, 해킹에 의해 배터리 제어기(310)의 제어권이 외부로 넘어가더라도, 물리적인 보호 장치를 통해 배터리 팩을 과충전/과방전 등의 위험 상황으로부터 보호할 수 있다.
지금까지 참조한 도면과 기재된 발명의 상세한 설명은 단지 본 발명의 예시적인 것으로서, 이는 단지 본 발명을 설명하기 위한 목적에서 사용된 것이지 의미 한정이나 특허청구범위에 기재된 본 발명의 범위를 제한하기 위하여 사용된 것은 아니다. 그러므로 본 기술 분야의 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 이로부터 다양한 변형 및 균등한 타 실시 예가 가능하다는 점을 이해할 것이다. 따라서, 본 발명의 진정한 기술적 보호 범위는 첨부된 특허청구범위의 기술적 사상에 의해 정해져야 할 것이다.

  1. 배터리 모듈을 구성하는 복수의 셀에 대해 셀 전압값을 검출하며, 상기 셀 전압값에 기초하여 상기 배터리 모듈의 과충전 또는 과방전 여부를 가리키는 알람 신호를 생성하는 집적회로,
    상기 집적회로로부터 상기 셀 전압값을 수신하며, 상기 셀 전압값에 기반하여 상기 배터리 모듈의 과충전 또는 과방전 여부를 판정하고, 상기 판정의 결과에 대응하여 제1제어 신호를 출력하는 배터리 제어기,
    상기 제1제어 신호 및 상기 알람 신호로부터, 제2제어 신호를 출력하는 논리회로,
    상기 집적회로로부터 입력되는 상기 알람 신호를 소정 시간 지연시켜 상기 논리회로로 전달하는 지연회로, 및
    상기 제2제어 신호에 따라서, 상기 배터리 모듈의 충방전을 제어하는 구동부를 포함하는 배터리 관리 시스템.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 집적회로는, 상기 셀 전압값이 제1임계치 이상이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과충전 상태로 판정하고, 상기 셀 전압값이 제2임계치 이하이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과방전 상태로 판정하며,
    상기 배터리 제어기는, 상기 셀 전압값이 제3임계치 이상이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과충전 상태로 판정하고, 상기 셀 전압값이 제4임계치 이하이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과방전 상태로 판정하며,
    상기 제1임계치는 상기 제3임계치보다 높고, 상기 제2임계치는 상기 제4임계치보다 낮은 배터리 관리 시스템.
  3. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 배터리 제어기는, 상기 집적회로로부터 상기 알람 신호를 수신하며,
    상기 집적회로는 상기 셀 전압값 및 상기 알람 신호를 서로 다른 통신 경로를 통해 상기 배터리 제어기로 전달하는 배터리 관리 시스템.
  4. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 구동부는, 상기 배터리 모듈이 포함된 배터리 팩의 팩 단자와 상기 배터리 모듈 사이에 연결되는 스위치를 개폐하여 상기 배터리 모듈의 충방전을 제어하는 배터리 관리 시스템.
  5. 제4항에 있어서,
    상기 논리회로는, 상기 제1제어 신호 및 상기 알람 신호 중 적어도 하나의 신호가 과충전 또는 과방전 상태를 가리키면, 상기 스위치의 오픈을 지시하도록 상기 제2제어 신호를 출력하는 배터리 관리 시스템.
  6. 제5항에 있어서,
    상기 논리회로는, 상기 제1제어 신호 및 상기 알람 신호를 입력받고, 상기 제2제어 신호를 출력하는 논리합 회로인 배터리 관리 시스템.
  7. 복수의 팩 단자,
    복수의 셀을 포함하는 배터리 모듈,
    상기 복수의 팩 단자 중 어느 하나와 상기 배터리 모듈 사이에 연결되는 스위치,
    상기 복수의 셀의 셀 전압값을 검출하고, 상기 셀 전압값에 기초하여 상기 배터리 모듈의 과충전 또는 과방전 여부를 가리키는 알람 신호를 생성하는 집적회로,
    상기 스위치를 제어하기 위한 제1제어 신호를 출력하는 배터리 제어기,
    상기 제1제어 신호 및 상기 알람 신호로부터, 제2제어 신호를 출력하는 논리회로,
    상기 집적회로로부터 입력되는 상기 알람 신호를 소정 시간 지연시켜 상기 논리회로로 전달하는 지연회로, 및
    상기 제2제어 신호에 따라 상기 스위치를 개폐하는 드라이버를 포함하는 배터리 팩.
  8. 제7항에 있어서,
    상기 집적회로는, 상기 셀 전압값이 제1임계치 이상이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과충전 상태로 판정하고, 상기 셀 전압값이 제2임계치 이하이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과방전 상태로 판정하는 배터리 팩.
  9. 제8항에 있어서,
    상기 배터리 제어기는, 상기 집적회로로부터 상기 셀 전압값을 수신하며, 상기 셀 전압값이 상기 제1임계치보다 낮은 제3임계치 이상이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과충전 상태로 판정하고, 상기 셀 전압값이 상기 제2임계치보다 높은 제4임계치 이하이면 상기 배터리 모듈을 과방전 상태로 판정하며,
    상기 과충전 또는 상기 과방전 판정 결과에 기초하여 상기 제1제어 신호를 출력하는 배터리 팩.
  10. 제9항에 있어서,
    상기 배터리 제어기는, 상기 셀 전압값과는 다른 통신 경로를 통해 상기 집적회로로부터 상기 알람 신호를 수신하며,
    상기 알람 신호에 기초하여 상기 제1제어 신호를 출력하는 배터리 팩.
  11. 제7항에 있어서,
    상기 논리회로는, 상기 제1제어 신호 및 상기 알람 신호 중 적어도 하나의 신호가 과충전 또는 과방전 상태를 가리키면, 상기 스위치의 오픈을 지시하도록 상기 제2제어 신호를 출력하는 배터리 팩.
  12. 제11항에 있어서,
    상기 논리회로는, 상기 제1제어 신호 및 상기 알람 신호를 입력받고, 상기 제2제어 신호를 출력하는 논리합 회로인 배터리 팩.
