Description

나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치 및 무용매 용융전기방사방법
본 발명은 용융 압출 방식의 고분자 열용융물을 공급하는 방식과 이동식 와이어 타입의 나노섬유 발생부분이 결합된 방사장치에 관한 것으로서, 전기장에 의해 고분자 용융물을 나노섬유로 방사하는 전기방사장치 및 무용매(Solvent-free) 용융전기방사방법에 관한 것이다.
집전기와 방사 전극 사이의 전압 차에 의해 생성된 전기장을 통한 중합체 용액으로부터 전기 방사를 통한 미세 섬유의 제조가 공지되어 있다. 
미국특허 US 6743273 B2 에 개시된 바와 같이, 중합 용액은 회전 방출기의 형태로 방사 전극으로 펌핑되며, 여기에서 펌프 용액은 저장기로부터 펌핑되고 이미터의 구멍을 통해 강제 유동된다. 방출될 때 그리드와 이미터 사이의 정전기 포텐셜은 액체를 얇은 미세 섬유로 "스핀"시켜 전하를 부여하여 층으로서 기판상에 포집된다. 이 과정에서 용매는 미세 섬유에서 증발하여 섬유 직경을 줄인다.
정전 방사 장치의 다른 예가 미국특허 US 7585437 B2 및 국제특허 WO 2006 / 131081 A1 에 개시되어 있다. 이러한 응용이 개시된 방사 전극 설계는 여러 가지 상이한 형태를 취할 수 있는 회전 드럼형 본체의 형태이다. 드럼은 폴리머 용액 저장조 내에 위치하고 수집 매체의 경로에 대해 수직인 축을 중심으로 회전한다. 드럼을 중합체 용액을 통해 회전시킴으로써, 대전된 전극의 회전 표면이 중합체 용액으로 코팅된다. 미국특허 US 7585437 B2 및 국제특허 WO 2006 / 131081 A1 에는 몸체 변형과 같은 다양한 드럼이 표시되어 있으며 미세한 섬유가 생성되는 개별 방사 위치를 만들기 위해 여러 개의 첨단 기술을 제공한다.
이러한 섬유의 방사공정(spinning process)은 고분자 유체를 가는 구멍을 통해 연속적으로 밀어내어 길고 가는 섬유로 전환시키는 공정을 의미한다. 일반적으로 방사공정은 뜨거운 고분자 유체가 스피너렛(spinneret)이라는 가는 구멍이 있는 부위를 지나서 나온 후, 냉각부를 지나 식어 고화하면, 이를 권취부에서 당겨 감음으로써 이루어진다.
방사공정으로서 대표적인 것은 용융방사, 용액방사 등이 있다. 용융방사란 고분자칩을 방사기의 원료 저장고에 넣고 고온의 압출기에서 녹인 후 스피너렛을 통해 섬유를 압출시킨 후, 차가운 냉각공기에 의해 고화시킨 후, 권취부에 의해 연신하는 형태이다. 용액방사는 저장고에서 원료고분자를 용매에 녹인 후, 이를 열교환기 등을 통과시켜 분자량이나 점도를 조절하여 스피너렛을 통과시킨후 차가운 응고액를 통과시키키는 습식방사와 고온가스로 빨리 증발시켜 권취부에서 감겨 섬유가 되는 건식방사가 있다.
최근 섬유분야에도 최첨단의 나노기술의 접목이 기대됨에 따라, 직경이 나노사이즈인 초극세의 섬유를 개발 및 응용하는 것에 큰 관심이 모아지고 있다. 나노섬유는 전기방사에 의해 제조되는데, 전기방사는 표면장력에 의해 모세관 끝에 매달려 있는 물방울에 고전압을 부여할 때 물방울 표면에서 미세 필라멘트가 방출되는 정전 스프레이 과정에서 변형된 것으로 충분한 점도를 가진 고분자용액이나 용융체가 정전기력을 부여받을 경우 섬유가 형성되는 현상이다. 한편 방사성능, 생산성, 공정 제품특성 등의 측면에서 전기방사 단독으로 행하는 대신, 상기한 용융방사나 용액방사를 혼합한 방법들이 개발되어 있다.
하지만 종래의 전기방사 장치는 방사원료에 제한이 많은 점, 별도의 노즐을 통하여 압축공기를 분사하는 구성을 필수로 하는 점, 방사부의 설계 및 관리 등에 있어서 번거로운점 등의 문제점이 있었다.
또한 생산성이 낮아 경제적인 생산체제, 산업적 양산화에 어려움이 있으며, 양산을 위한 기존의 다중 노즐방식의 경우 노즐 교체에 따른 유지보수 측면 및 화재발생의 문제점이 있었다.
또한 하나의 노즐 또는 양산을 위해 다중노즐의 방식을 이용해야 하는 점과 전기방사를 하기 위해 고분자를 용매에 용해시켜야 하는 과정이 필요한 문제점이 있었다.
또한, 전기방사를 사용하기 위해 고분자의 특성과 용매의 극성, 점성도, 표면장력, 전기전도도, 밀도 등의 공정변수의 변화에 따라 섬유의 형태가 다르게 형성되는 복잡함이 있었다.
본 발명의 목적은 용융압출 고분자 공급부와 전기방사 시스템을 결합한 방법으로서, 전기방사를 위해 고분자를 용매에 용해시키는 과정 필요 없이 고분자를 바로 용융 압출시켜 폴리머멜트(Polymer melt)로 이송시키는 나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치 및 무용매 용융전기방사방법을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 다른 목적은 이송된 폴리머멜트에 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부 표면을 접촉시켜 와이어에 걸어준 전기장에 의해 전기방사 되는 원리를 이용한 나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치 및 무용매 용융전기방사방법을 제공하는 것이다.
상기 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명의 나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치는, 용매가 없이(Solvent-free) 폴리머를 용융하여 나노파이버를 대량생산하는 용융전기방사장치에 있어서, 상부에 폴리머칩 투입구가 형성되고, 내부에 폴리머멜트를 이송하는 스크류가 설치되고, 외부에 상기 스크류를 포함하는 복수개의 개별적 실린더가 조립된 하나의 일체적 실린더가 구비되며, 상기 복수개의 개별적 실린더를 가열하는 복수개의 가열부와 온도컨트롤러가 구비된 용융압출고분자공급부; 상기 용융압출고분자공급부와 연결되고, 가열부와 온도컨트롤러가 구비된 커넥터; 상기 커넥터와 복수개의 이송노즐로 연결되고 상부가 개방된 고분자용융부가 내부에 장착되며 가열부와 온도컨트롤러가 구비된 방사블럭을 내장하고 가열유닛과 온도센서유닛이 구비된 방사챔버; 상기 방사챔버 내부에 구비된 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부; 상기 방사챔버 내부에 구비되고 상기 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부와 이격되어 구비되는 컬렉터; 및 상기 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부와 상기 컬렉터 사이에 전원을 공급하고, 상기 방사챔버 내부에 구비되고 상기 가열부와 상기 온도컨트롤러에 전원을 공급하는 전원제어부;를 포함하여 구성될 수 있다.
여기서, 구동모터, 상기 구동모터에 설치되는 회전샤프트, 상기 회전샤프트와 함께 회동하는 회전캠, 상기 회전샤프트와 상기 회전캠을 고정하는 회전축, 상기 회전캠에 연결되는 체인, 상기 체인과 연결되는 구동캠, 상기 구동캠과 연결되는 구동샤프트, 상기 구동캠과 상기 구동샤프트를 연결하는 구동축으로 구성되는 출력구동부를 더 포함할 수 있다.
여기서, 상기 출력구동부의 구동샤프트는 상기 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부와 기어결합되고, 상기 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부를 교차로 상하이동되게 할 수 있다.
여기서, 상기 출력구동부는 방사블럭 내부 또는 외부에 설치되며, 상기 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부가 교차로 상하이동시 속도, 높이를 전자제어하여 미세조정하는 유압실린더일 수 있다.
여기서, 상기 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부는 꼬인 형태의 와이어(twistted wire)로 구성되고, 표면에 폴리머멜트와 닿는 면적을 넓히는 돌기가 형성될 수 있다.
여기서, 상기 폴리머멜트는 용매에 용해시키는 과정이 없이 용융 압출시켜 고분자의 용융지수, 분자량, 점도의 고분자 특성이 변경되어 방사되는 고분자 용융물일 수 있다.

여기서, 상기 가열부와 상기 온도컨트롤러는 상기 폴리머멜트의 특성에 따른 용융상태를 유지하기 위한 온도로 제어될 수 있다.
여기서, 상기 방사챔버는 내부의 온도를 균일하게 조절하는 공기흡입배출구로 구성된 공기순환유닛과, 상기 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부 및 상기 컬렉터 사이의 거리를 조절할 수 있는 전동식 높이조절부를 더 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명의 다른 목적을 달성하기 위한 나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치를 이용한 무용매(Solvent-free) 용융전기방사방법에 있어서, (a) 폴리머칩이 용융압출고분자공급부(100)에서 용융되어 이송되는 단계; (b) 폴리머멜트가 커넥터와 이송노즐을 통하여 방사블럭의 고분자용융부로 이송되는 단계; (c) 상기 방사블럭 내부에서 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부가 상기 고분자용융부의 상기 폴리머멜트에 침지되는 단계; (d) 상기 폴리머멜트에 침지된 상기 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부가 교차로 상하이동되고, 상기 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부와 컬렉터 사이에 전기장이 형성되는 단계; (e) 상기 폴리머멜트가 상기 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부로부터 상기 컬렉터로 전기방사되는 단계; 및 (f) 상기 컬렉터에서 나노파이버 섬유체가 포집되어 이송부에 의해 운반되는 단계; 를 포함하여 구성될 수 있다.
여기서, 상기 (a) 폴리머칩이 용융압출고분자공급부에서 용융되는 단계는, 상기 폴리머칩을 용매에 용해시키는 과정이 없이 용융 압출시켜 폴리머멜트를 제조하고, 상기 폴리머멜트는 고분자의 용융지수, 분자량, 점도의 고분자 특성을 변경하여 방사되는 고분자 용융물일 수 있다.
본 발명의 또 다른 목적을 달성하기 위한 나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치를 이용한 무용매 용융전기방사방법으로 생산한 섬유체를 제공할 수 있다.

본 발명의 나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치 및 무용매(Solvent-free) 용융전기방사방법은 용융압출고분자공급부를 구비한 전기방사장치를 이용하여 고분자를 용매에 용해시키는 과정이 없이 고분자를 용융 압출시켜 폴리머멜트(Polymer melt)로 전기방사하는 효과가 있다.
또한, 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부는 꼬인 형태 (Twistted wire)로 하여 꼬여진 틈에 폴리머멜트를 저장할 수 있어 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부가 상하이동할 시 폴리머멜트의 손실이 없도록 하는 효과가 있다.
또한, 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부 표면에 돌기가 형성되어 폴리머멜트가 닿는 부분의 표면적을 극대화하는 효과가 있으며, 전압, 방사거리, 권취속도 등을 변수로 변경하여 생성되는 나노파이버의 굵기, 밀도, 포어사이즈, 강도, 배향율 등을 제어하는 효과가 있다.
또한, 폴리머멜트는 고분자의 용융지수, 분자량, 점도 등의 고분자 특성을 변수로 변경하여 방사하는 효과가 있다
또한, 방사챔버내의 온도는 고분자의 용융온도보다 높지 않아서 컬렉터에서 섬유의 형태로 유지되어 섬유상으로 얻을 수 있는 효과가 있다.

본 발명의 나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치(1)는, 용매가 없이(Solvent-free) 폴리머를 용융하여 나노파이버를 대량생산하는 용융전기방사장치에 있어서, 상부에 폴리머칩(10) 투입구(110)가 형성되고, 내부에 폴리머멜트를 이송하는 스크류(130)가 설치되고, 외부에 스크류(130)를 포함하는 복수개의 개별적 실린더(105)가 조립된 하나의 일체적 실린더(107)가 구비되며, 복수개의 개별적 실린더(105)를 가열하는 복수개의 가열부(150)와 온도컨트롤러(155)가 구비된 용융압출고분자공급부(100); 용융압출고분자공급부(100)와 연결되고, 가열부(160)와 온도컨트롤러(165)가 구비된 커넥터(170); 커넥터(170)와 복수개의 이송노즐(220)로 연결되고 상부가 개방된 고분자용융부(230)가 내부에 장착되며 가열부(211)와 온도컨트롤러(213)가 구비된 방사블럭(200)을 내장하고 가열유닛(217)과 온도센서유닛(219)이 구비된 방사챔버(210); 방사챔버(210) 내부에 구비된 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250); 방사챔버(210) 내부에 구비되고 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 이격되어 구비되는 컬렉터(300); 및 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 컬렉터(300)에 전원을 공급하고, 가열부(150,160,211)와 온도컨트롤러(155,165,213)에 전원을 공급하는 전원제어부(500);를 포함하여 구성된다.
도 1 내지 도 3을 참조하면, 용융압출고분자공급부(100)는 폴리머칩(10) 투입구(110)와 스크류(130)와 커넥터(170)가 구비되고, 스크류(130)는 모터(120)에 연결된다. 폴리머칩 투입구(110)로 투입된 폴리머칩(10)은 모터(120)의 와 연결된 스크류(130)가 회전하게 되면서 점차적으로 용융되어 커넥터(170)로 이송된다.
용융압출고분자공급부(100) 내부에는 상부에 폴리머칩(10) 투입구(110)가 형성되고, 내부에 폴리머멜트를 이송하는 스크류(130)가 설치되고, 외부에 상기 스크류(130)를 포함하는 복수개의 개별적 실린더(105)가 조립되어 하나의 일체적 실린더(107)로 구성되며, 복수개의 개별적 실린더(105)를 가열하는 복수개의 가열부(150)와 온도컨트롤러(155)가 구비된다. 용융압출고분자 공급부(100)의 이러한 구성으로 고분자의 용융지수, 분자량, 점도 등의 고분자 특성에 따라 공급되는 폴리머칩(10)이 용매가 없이 단계적으로 용융되어 폴리머멜트가 제조된다.
폴리머멜트는 스크류의 회전으로 이송되지만, 이산화탄소나 질소가스의 압축가스를 불어넣어 가압하는 구조도 가능하고 공지된 이송방법을 이용할 수 있으며, 이송방법에 특별한 제한이 있는 것은 아니다.
용융압출고분자공급부(100)는 가열부(150)와 온도컨트롤러(155)가 구비되어 폴리머멜트의 용융상태를 제어한다.
커넥터(170)는 용융압출고분자공급부(100)에서 용융압출된 폴리머멜트를 방사블럭(200)의 이송노즐(220)로 안내한다. 커넥터(170)에는 가열부(160)와 온도컨트롤러(165)가 구비되어 폴리머멜트의 용융상태를 유지한다.
방사블럭(200)은 용융압출고분자공급부(100)의 커넥터(170)에서 이송되는 폴리머멜트가 이송되는 복수개의 이송노즐(220)과 연결된 고분자용융부(230)와, 고분자용융부(230)에 보관된 폴리머멜트를 침지하고 비산하는 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)가 구비되며, 방사챔버(210)는 내부의 온도를 균일하게 조절하는 공기흡입배출구로 구성된 공기순환유닛(270)이 구비된다.
방사블럭(200)에는 가열부(211)와 온도컨트롤러(213)가 구비되어 폴리머멜트의 용융상태를 제어한다.
방사챔버(210)는 전원제어부(500)에 의해 고전압이 인가되기 때문에 가열유닛(217)은 전열선과 같은 전기를 이용한 히터가 아닌 가스나 기름의 연소에 의한 가열이 이루어지도록 구성되고 온도센서유닛(219)이 구비된다..
용융압출고분자공급부(100)의 커넥터(170)를 통해 이송된 폴리머멜트는 이송노즐(220)에 의해 고분자용융부(230)으로 이송된다. 이송노즐(220)은 커넥터(170)와 연결되고 방사블럭(200)의 하단에 다수개가 일정 간격으로 일렬로 배치된다.
방사블럭(200)의 가열은 방사블럭(200) 외부로부터 금속 안쪽으로 가열부(211)와 온도컨트롤러(213)를 설치하여 가열하고, 방사챔버(210) 내부의 가열은 공급관을 통해 가스 등에 의해 가열시켜 고전압과의 쇼트를 방지한다.
가열부(211)에 의해 방사블럭(200)이 가열되므로 방사블럭(200) 내부로 유입된 폴리머멜트는 방사블럭(200) 내부에 잔류하는 동안 응고되지 않고 용융된 상태를 유지하게 된다. 가열유닛(217)은 방사챔버(210) 내의 온도가 고분자의 용융온도보다 높지 않도록 유지하여 컬렉터(300)에서 섬유의 형태로 유지되어 섬유상으로 얻을 수 있다.
고분자용융부(230)는 이송노즐(220)과 연결되고 상부가 개방되어 있으며, 이송된 폴리머멜트가 저장된다.
와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)는 상부가 개방된 ㄷ자형으로 형성되고, 전극으로 구성된다. 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)의 형태는 꼬인 형태의 와이어(Twistted wire)로 구성되어 꼬여진 틈에 고분자 용융물을 저장할 수 있어 와이어가 상하이동시 폴리머멜트의 손실이 없도록 할 수 있다. 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)의 표면에는 돌기(255)가 구성되고 폴리머멜트와의 접촉면적을 넓게하였다. 방사시 폴리머멜트의 특성을 고려해서 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)에 형성되는 전압을 조정하면 방사된 나노파이버 섬유체(360)의 양을 조절할 수 있다.
컬렉터(300)는 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)로부터 방사된 나노파이버 섬유체(360)를 포집하는 전극으로 구성된다. 컬렉터(300)는 음극성을 띄게 되어 있어서 전원제어부(500)에 의해 고전압이 인가되면 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 컬렉터(300) 사이에 전기장이 형성된다.
도 4를 참조하면, 본 발명의 일 실시예에서 이송노즐(220)의 간격은 0.1~10mm 범위 이내로 사용가능하고, 주로 0.5~2mm 의 범위로 사용된다. 이송노즐(220)의 하단 이송노즐(220) 직경(d)은 0.1~2.0mm, 주로 0.2~0.5mm가 사용된다. 이송노즐(220)의 하단 길이(L)와 직경의 비(L/d)는 1 ~ 20의 값이면 사용가능하며, 특히 2 ~ 10의 범위로 사용된다. 커넥터(170) 부분 혹은 이송노즐(220) 전단계에 금속 메쉬(metal mesh)를 설치하여 폴리머멜트의 토출을 제어하고 불순물을 거를 수 있다.
도 5를 참조하면, 전원제어부(500)는 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 컬렉터(300)에 고전압을 인가하여 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 컬렉터(300) 사이에 전기장을 형성하여 폴리머멜트가 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)로부터 컬렉터(300)로 전기방사되게 한다.
또한, 전원제어부(500)는 출력구동부(400)에 전원을 공급하여 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)가 교차로 상하이동을 하게 하여 폴리머멜트가 연속적으로 방사되게 한다.
또한, 전원제어부(500)는 용융압출고분자공급부(100), 커넥터(170), 방사블럭(200)에 구비된 가열부(150,160,211)와 온도컨트롤러(155,165,213)에 전원을 공급한다.
도 6 내지 도 8을 참조하면, 본 발명의 일 실시예에서 출력구동부(400)는 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)를 상하운동시키기 위한 것으로, 방사블럭(200)의 상부에 복수개가 구비되고 구동모터(410), 구동모터(410)에 설치되는 회전샤프트(420), 회전샤프트(420)와 함께 회동하는 회전캠(430), 회전샤프트(420)와 회전캠(430)을 고정하는 회전축(440), 회전캠(430)에 연결되는 체인(460), 체인(460)과 연결되는 구동캠(470), 구동캠(470)과 연결되는 구동샤프트(480), 구동캠(470)과 구동샤프트(480)를 연결하는 구동축(490)으로 구성된다.
본 발명의 다른 일 실시예에서 출력구동부(400)는 실린더로 상하운동 시키는 것이 가능하며, 이 실린더는 방사블럭(200) 내부에 설치될 수 있고, 방사블럭(200) 외부에도 설치될 수 있다. 실린더로 상하운동을 제어하면, 체인으로 하는 것보다 속도, 높이 등을 전자제어로 미세조정이 가능하다.
구동샤프트(480)는 전기 전도가 가능한 재질로 형성되며, 구동샤프트(480)를 통해 전압이 인가되어 전류가 흐르게 되며, 구동샤프트(480)를 통해 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)가 극성을 띠게 된다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에서 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)는 5개가 설계되어 있지만, 개수의 가감이 가능하며, 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)의 와이어의 상하운동은 동시에 하는 것이 아니라 바로 옆의 와이어와 교차로 상하운동하여 연속적으로 나노섬유를 발생하게 한다. 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)의 상하운동은 출력구동부(400)에 의하여 이동속도와 상하이동거리, 침지 깊이 등이 제어된다.
회전캠(430)과 구동캠(470)은 체인(460)으로 맞물려 결합되어 있으며 구동모터(410)가 작동하면 회전샤프트(420), 회전캠(430), 체인(460), 구동캠(470), 구동샤프트(480)에 회전력이 인가되어 회동되고, 회동되는 구동캠(470)과 톱니가 맞물리게 결합된 구동샤프트(480)는 연직으로 상하이동되게 된다. 이러한 구동캠(470)과 구동샤프트(480)의 기어결합으로 구동캠(470)의 회전운동이 구동샤프트(480)의 직선운동으로 변경되고 이로 인하여 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)는 교차로 상하이동하게 된다.
도 9를 참조하면, 본 발명의 전기방사장치(100)는 콜렉터(300)의 좌우방향으로 연장된 스커트부재(310)를 더 포함할 수 있어서 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)의 상하 이동에 따라 중력이 변화하더라도 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 컬렉터(300) 사이에 형성되는 전기장에 의해 주변으로 방사되는 나노파이버 섬유사들이 스커트부재(301)에 의해 모두 포집될 수 있다. 컬렉터(300)는 전동식 높이조절부(280)가 절첩가능하게 구비되어 나노파이버 섬유사가 콜렉터(300)에 포집되는 양이 소량일 경우에는 방사챔버(210)에 인가되는 전원을 차단하고 전동식 높이조절부(280)를 조정하여 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 컬렉터(300) 사이의 거리를 가깝게 하고 다시 방사챔버(210)에 전원을 인가하여 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)로부터 나노파이버 섬유사를 방사하도록 하여 콜렉터(300)로부터 나노파이버 섬유체(360)가 포집되게 한다.
본 발명의 나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치(1)를 이용한 무용매(Solvent-free) 용융전기방사방법을 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
본 발명의 나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치(1)를 이용한 무용매(Solvent-free) 용융전기방사방법은, 나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치를 이용한 무용매(Solvent-free) 용융전기방사방법에 있어서, (a) 폴리머칩(10)이 용융압출고분자공급부(100)에서 용융되어 이송되는 단계(S1100); (b) 폴리머멜트가 커넥터(170)와 이송노즐(220)을 통하여 방사블럭(200)의 고분자용융부(230)로 이송되는 단계(S1200); (c) 방사블럭(200) 내부에서 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)가 고분자용융부(230)의 폴리머멜트에 침지되는 단계(S1300); (d) 폴리머멜트에 침지되어 상부로 이동한 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 컬렉터(300) 사이에 전기장이 형성되는 단계(S1400); (e) 교차하여 상하이동되는 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)로부터 폴리머멜트가 연속적으로 전기방사되는 단계(S1500); 및 (f) 컬렉터(300)에서 나노파이버 섬유체가 포집되어 이송되는 단계(S1600);를 포함하여 구성된다.
도 10을 참조하면, S1100 단계는 폴리머칩(10)이 용융압출고분자공급부(100)에서 용융되어 이송되는 단계이다.
S1100 단계에서 사용가능한 폴리머칩(10)은 열가소성 수지에만 제한되지 않고 열경화성 수지 등의 대부분의 폴리머가 모두 사용가능하다. 사용가능한 폴리머로는 ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadien-Syrene), 폴리카보네이트 (Polycarbonate), 폴리에틸렌 (Polyethylene), 열가소성 폴리에스터(Polyeseter,PE), 폴리이미드(Polyimide,PI), 폴리프로필렌 (Polypropylene,PP), 폴리스티렌 (Polystyrene,PS), 폴리슬폰 (Polysulfone,PSF), 폴리비닐클로라이드 (Polyvinyl chrolride,PVC), 폴리에테르이미드 (Polyether Imide,PEI), 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트 (Polyehtylene terephthalate,PET), 열가소성 폴리에스테르 엘라스토머 (Thermoplastic polyetherester elastomer,TPEE), 폴리에틸렌나프탈레이트 (Polyethylene naphthalate,PEN), 폴리부틸렌테레프탈레이트 (Polybutylene terephthalate,PBT), 폴리사이클로헥실렌테레프탈레이트 (Polycyclohxylene terephthalate, PCT), 폴리에틸렌 옥사이드 (Polyethylene oxide, PEO), 폴리비닐덴디플루오리드 (Polyvinglidene fluoride, PVDF), 폴리락틱산 (Polylactic acid, PLA), 폴리락트산(Poly L-lactic acid, PLLA), 폴리에틸렌테레프텔레이트 (Polyethylene terphthalate, PET), 폴리아크릴로니트릴 (Polyacrylonitrile,PAN), 폴리비닐알코올 (Polyvinyl alcohol,PVA), 폴리우레탄 (Polyurethane,PU) 중 하나 또는 둘 이상의 혼합물 등이 있다.
S1200 단계에서 폴리머멜트가 커넥터(170)와 이송노즐(220)을 통하여 방사블럭(200)의 고분자용융부(230)로 이송되는 단계이다.
S1200 단계에서는 S1100 단계에서 용융된 폴리머멜트가 커넥터(170)로부터 이송노즐(220)을 통해서 고분자용융부(230)로 운반된다. 고분자용융부(230), 커넥터, 방사블럭(200)에는 가열부(211)와 온도컨트롤러(213)가 구비되어 폴리머멜트는 용융된 상태로 커넥터(170)과 복수개의 이송노즐(220)을 통해서 고분자용융부(230)로 운반된다.
S1300 단계는 방사블럭(200)의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)가 고분자용융부의 폴리머멜트에 침지되는 단계이다.
S1300 단계에서는 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)는 출력구동부(400)에 의하여 교차로 상하이동을 반복하게 되고, 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)가 고분자용융부(230) 내부로 하강하여 폴리머멜트에 침지되면, 폴리머멜트는 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)의 와이어에 구비된 돌기(255)에 접촉되어 부착된다.
S1400 단계는 폴리머멜트에 침지되어 상부로 이동한 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 컬렉터(300) 사이에 전기장이 형성되는 단계이다.
전원제어부(500)는 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 컬렉터(300) 사이에 주로 0 ~ 30kV의 전압이 인가되도록 제어되며 폴리머멜트의 특성에 따라서 30KV 이상의 고전압을 사용하는 것도 가능하다.
S1500 단계는 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)의 폴리머멜트가 전기방사되어 컬렉터(300)로 방사되는 단계이다.
S1500 단계에서는 S1400 단계에서 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 컬렉터(300)사이에 인가된 고전압에 의하여 폴리머멜트가 전기방사되게 된다. 전원제어부(500)로부터 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 컬렉터(300) 사이에 고전압이 인가되면 전기장이 형성되고 이로 인하여 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)에 부착된 폴리머멜트는 전기력에 의하여 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)로부터 컬렉터(300)를 향해 여러가닥의 섬유사로 방사된다. 이때 방사된 섬유사는 양이온으로 하전되어 있으므로 음극인 컬렉터(300)를 향해 이동되게 된다.
또한, 폴리머멜트의 특성에 따라서는 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)로부터 전압, 방사거리, 권취속도, 토출양을 변경하여 방사될 수 있다. 이때, 컬렉터(300)가 연결된 전동식 높이조절부(280)를 상하로 조절하여 폴리머멜트가 방사되는 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)로부터 컬렉터(300)까지의 거리를 조절할 수 있다.
S1600 단계는 컬렉터(300)에서 나노파이버 섬유체가 제조되어 포집되어 이송되는 단계이다.
컬렉터(300)에 수집된 방사된 나노파이버 섬유체(360)는 다수의 롤러가 구비된 이송부(301)에 의해 운반되며 이때 컬렉터(300)의 이송속도를 느리게 하거나 빠르게 하면 적층되는 나노섬유의 양을 조절하여 나노파이버 섬유체(360)의 특성을 변경할 수 있다.
이하, 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 통해 본 발명을 보다 상세하게 설명한다.
실시예 1
폴리락틱산(Polylactic acid: PLA)의 폴리머멜트를 이용하고 인가전압은 DC 50kV의 조건으로 나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치(1)에서 방사하여 1㎛ 미만 직경의 나노섬유를 적층하였다.
실시예 2
나일론66의 폴리머멜트를 이용하고 인가전압은 DC 50kV의 조건으로 나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치(1)에서 방사하여 1㎛ 미만 직경의 나노섬유를 적층하였다.
이상, 일부 예를 들어서 본 발명의 바람직한 여러 가지 실시예에 대해서 설명하였지만, 본 "발명을 실시하기 위한 구체적인 내용" 항목에 기재된 여러 가지 다양한 실시예에 관한 설명은 예시적인 것에 불과한 것이며, 본 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 이상의 설명으로부터 본 발명을 다양하게 변형하여 실시하거나 본 발명과 균등한 실시를 행할 수 있다는 점을 잘 이해하고 있을 것이다.
또한, 본 발명은 다른 다양한 형태로 구현될 수 있기 때문에 본 발명은 상술한 설명에 의해서 한정되는 것이 아니며, 이상의 설명은 본 발명의 개시 내용이 완전해지도록 하기 위한 것으로 본 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게 본 발명의 범주를 완전하게 알려주기 위해 제공되는 것일 뿐이며, 본 발명은 청구범위의 각 청구항에 의해서 정의될 뿐임을 알아야 한다.

Claims (12)

  1. 용매가 없이(Solvent-free) 폴리머를 용융하여 나노파이버를 대량생산하는 용융전기방사장치에 있어서,
    상부에 폴리머칩(10) 투입구(110)가 형성되고, 내부에 폴리머멜트를 이송하는 스크류(130)가 설치되고, 외부에 상기 스크류(130)를 포함하는 복수개의 개별적 실린더(105)가 조립된 하나의 일체적 실린더(107)가 구비되며, 상기 복수개의 개별적 실린더(105)를 가열하는 복수개의 가열부(150)와 온도컨트롤러(155)가 구비된 용융압출고분자공급부(100);
    상기 용융압출고분자공급부(100)와 연결되고, 가열부(160)와 온도컨트롤러(165)가 구비된 커넥터(170);
    상기 커넥터(170)와 복수개의 이송노즐(220)로 연결되고 상부가 개방된 고분자용융부(230)가 내부에 장착되고, 가열부(211)와 온도컨트롤러(213)가 구비된 방사블럭(200)이 내장되고, 가열유닛(217)과 온도센서유닛(219)이 구비된 방사챔버(210);
    상기 방사챔버(210) 내부에 구비된 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250);
    상기 방사챔버(210) 내부에 구비되고 상기 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 이격되어 구비되는 컬렉터(300); 및
    상기 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 상기 컬렉터(300)에 전원을 공급하고, 상기 가열부(150,160,211)와 상기 온도컨트롤러(155,165,213)에 전원을 공급하는 전원제어부(500); 를 포함하여 구성되는,
    나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    구동모터(410), 상기 구동모터(410)에 설치되는 회전샤프트(420), 상기 회전샤프트(420)와 함께 회동하는 회전캠(430), 상기 회전샤프트(420)와 상기 회전캠(430)을 고정하는 회전축(440), 상기 회전캠(430)에 연결되는 체인(460), 상기 체인(460)과 연결되는 구동캠(470), 상기 구동캠(470)과 연결되는 구동샤프트(480), 상기 구동캠(470)과 상기 구동샤프트(480)를 연결하는 구동축(490)으로 구성되는 출력구동부(400)를 더 포함하는,
    나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 출력구동부(400)의 구동샤프트(480)는 상기 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 기어결합되고,
    상기 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)를 교차로 상하이동되게 하는,
    나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서,
    상기 출력구동부(400)는 방사블럭(200) 내부 또는 외부에 설치되며, 상기 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)가 교차로 상하이동시 속도, 높이를 전자제어하여 미세조정하는 유압실린더인,
    나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치.
  5. 제4항에 있어서,
    상기 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)는 꼬인 형태의 와이어(twistted wire)로 구성되고 표면에 폴리머멜트와 닿는 면적을 넓히는 돌기(255)가 형성된,
    나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치.
  6. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 폴리머멜트는 용매에 용해시키는 과정이 없이 용융 압출시켜 고분자의 용융지수, 분자량, 점도의 고분자 특성이 변경되어 방사되는 고분자 용융물인,
    나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치.
  7. 제6항에 있어서,
    상기 폴리머멜트는 ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadien-Syrene), 폴리카보네이트 (Polycarbonate), 폴리에틸렌 (Polyethylene), 열가소성 폴리에스터 (Polyeseter,PE), 폴리이미드(Polyimide,PI), 폴리프로필렌 (Polypropylene,PP), 폴리스티렌(Polystyrene,PS), 폴리슬폰(Polysulfone,PSF), 폴리비닐클로라이드(Polyvinyl chrolride,PVC), 폴리에테르이미드 (Polyether Imide,PEI), 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트 (Polyehtylene terephthalate,PET), 열가소성 폴리에스테르 엘라스토머 (Thermoplastic polyetherester elastomer,TPEE), 폴리에틸렌나프탈레이트 (Polyethylene naphthalate,PEN), 폴리부틸렌테레프탈레이트 (Polybutylene terephthalate,PBT), 폴리사이클로헥실렌테레프탈레이트 (Polycyclohxylene terephthalate, PCT), 폴리에틸렌 옥사이드 (Polyethylene oxide, PEO), 폴리비닐덴디플루오리드 (Polyvinglidene fluoride, PVDF), 폴리락틱산(Polylactic acid, PLA), 폴리락트산(Poly L-lactic acid, PLLA), 폴리에틸렌테레프텔레이트 (Polyethylene terphthalate, PET), 폴리아크릴로니트릴 (Polyacrylonitrile,PAN), 폴리비닐알코올 (Polyvinyl alcohol,PVA), 폴리우레탄 (Polyurethane,PU) 중 하나 또는 둘 이상의 혼합물인,
    나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치.
  8. 제7항에 있어서,
    상기 가열부(150,160,211)와 상기 온도컨트롤러(155,165,213)는 상기 폴리머멜트의 특성에 따른 용융상태를 유지하기 위한 온도로 제어되는,
    나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치.
  9. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 방사챔버(210)는 내부의 온도를 균일하게 조절하는 공기흡입배출구로 구성된 공기순환유닛(270)과,
    상기 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250) 및 상기 컬렉터(300) 사이의 거리를 조절할 수 있는 전동식 높이조절부(280)를 더 포함하는,
    나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치.
  10. 나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치를 이용한 무용매(Solvent-free) 용융전기방사방법에 있어서,
    (a) 폴리머칩(10)이 용융압출고분자공급부(100)에서 용융되어 이송되는 단계;
    (b) 폴리머멜트가 커넥터(170)와 이송노즐(220)을 통하여 방사블럭(200)의 고분자용융부(230)로 이송되는 단계;
    (c) 상기 방사블럭(200) 내부에서 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)가 상기 고분자용융부(230)의 상기 폴리머멜트에 침지되는 단계;
    (d) 상기 폴리머멜트에 침지된 상기 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)가 교차로 상하이동되고, 상기 복수개의 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)와 컬렉터(300) 사이에 전기장이 형성되는 단계;
    (e) 상기 폴리머멜트가 상기 와이어타입 나노파이버 발생부(250)로부터 상기 컬렉터로 전기방사되는 단계; 및
    (f) 상기 컬렉터(300)에서 나노파이버 섬유체(160)가 포집되어 이송부(301)에 의해 운반되는 단계; 를 포함하여 구성되는,
    나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치를 이용한 무용매 용융전기방사방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서,
    상기 (a) 폴리머칩(10)이 용융압출고분자공급부(100)에서 용융되는 단계는, 상기 폴리머칩(10)을 용매에 용해시키는 과정이 없이 용융 압출시켜 폴리머멜트를 제조하고,
    상기 폴리머멜트는 고분자의 용융지수, 분자량, 점도의 고분자 특성을 변경하여 방사되는 고분자 용융물인,
    나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치를 이용한 무용매 용융전기방사방법.
  12. 청구항 10의 나노파이버 대량생산 용융전기방사장치를 이용하여 무용매 용융전기방사방법으로 생산된 섬유체.
