Definitions
- the invention relates to a valve comprising a housing, a solenoid disposed in the housing, wherein the solenoid comprises a coil, an armature, an upper stator and a lower stator, and the stators are formed such that the armature upon application of a magnetic force between the stators moves axially, a pin fixedly connected to the armature, a cup-shaped piston connected to the pin and a spring which moves the piston away when the magnetic force from the solenoid.
- valves are used, inter alia, as a diverter valve on the turbocharger in motor vehicles to release a bypass to the suction side in overrun and are thus known.
- a rapid opening and closing of the valve is an essential requirement.
- when closing it depends on the immediate closing by the application of the piston to a valve seat.
- the valve seat is formed by the housing of the turbocharger to which the valve is flanged.
- the axially displaceable piston is sealed against the housing.
- the piston has openings, so that a bearing in the bypass line of the medium can penetrate into the interior of the valve. This pressure equalization is used to open and close the valve.
- the disadvantage here is that the medium contains aggressive constituents which angrei the magnetic materials of the valve so that they corrode. Power losses and functional impairments are the result.
- the invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a valve which undergoes little or no damage due to corrosion over the entire life.
- the valve should also be simple in design.
- the object is achieved in that a protective sleeve made of a corrosion-resistant material is arranged in the solenoid.
- the arrangement of such a protective sleeve requires little effort and thereby provides reliable protection against the aggressive components of the medium flowing in the Bypasslei medium.
- a protective cover can divide a fold and also the installation of the protective sleeve requires only a few additional steps.
- the protective sleeve of a durable plastic Due to the forces and movements acting in the solenoid, the plastic must possess a certain wall thickness. It has been found to be advantageous according to another embodiment, the protective sleeve of stainless steel Herzustel len. In addition to the excellent protection properties, stainless steel has sufficient stability to form the protective sleeve with a small wall thickness. Thus, it has proven to be advantageous, the protective sleeve with a wall thickness of 0.1 mm to 0.5 mm, preferably 0.2 mm to 0 , 4 mm and in particular 0.25 mm form. The advantage is that the solenoid has to be modified only slightly for the use of such a protective sleeve. Elaborate new constructions of valves are not required and even existing valves can be retrofitted with little effort.
- An inexpensive embodiment is when the protective sleeve is made of a chrome-nickel steel.
- a reliable protection of the components to be protected is achieved according to a further advantageous embodiment, characterized in that the protective sleeve between the armature and the upper and un direct stator is arranged. By having the protective sleeve surrounding components immediately, a maximum protection effect is ensured.
- the protective sleeve is pressed into a recess of the upper stator, while the protective sleeve ge from the lower stator by a radial air gap is separated.
- This air gap is a few tenths of a millimeter.
- a particularly advantageous embodiment is to press the protective sleeve into this recess in the upper stator.
- the protective sleeve can thus be designed as a cylindrical part and thus very cost-effectively.
- the protective sleeve simultaneously takes over the guidance of the armature when opening and closing the valve.
- Protective sleeve is arranged without impact in the upper stator.
- Protective sleeve a flange, which rests on the lower stator. On the one hand, this flange prevents aggressive components from entering the hazardous areas from the bypass line. On the other hand, the flange serves as a stop during pressing, so that in a particularly simple manner, the ord-proper assembly of the protective sleeve can be realized.

Description
Ventil
