Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé d'utilisation d'un sous-produit d'un processus de génération d'azote pour la production d'oxygène. Les systèmes comprennent une unité de génération d'azote intégrée et une unité de séparation d'air. Le procédé consiste à séparer un flux d'air, dans l'unité de génération d'azote, en un flux d'azote et en un flux de sous-produit enrichi en oxygène. Au moins une partie du flux de sous-produit enrichi en oxygène est ensuite envoyée à l'unité de séparation d'air conjointement avec un second flux d'air. Le flux de sous-produit enrichi en oxygène et le second flux d'air combinés sont ensuite traités pour produire de l'oxygène de haute pureté par l'intermédiaire de l'unité de séparation d'air.
