Description
Schuh, insbesondere Schnittschutzschuh Shoe, in particular cut protection shoe
The invention relates to a shoe, in particular a cut protection shoe, with a sole, an upper and a debris protection.
Such shoes are usually equipped with a rubber sole, which often has a profile. The upper of the shoe can be made of different materials. In addition to the production of the upper material from a uniform material, it is also possible that the upper material is made of different materials in sections. For example, leather, imitation leather, textiles and plastics, often with functional features such as waterproofness and breathability, are possible. A scree protection is a subsequent to the sole upwardly drawn reinforcement of the shoe, which usually, as the sole, made of rubber. It can be used a same or similar rubber compound as for the sole. Likewise, completely different rubber compounds can be used. The debris protection can also consist of other materials, such as leather, synthetic leather, textiles and plastics.
The debris protection is glued to the sole and, according to the state of the art, sewn to the upper. These different types of connections are chosen because bonding in the area of the sole is particularly useful to guarantee absolute tightness of the shoe in this area. Furthermore, the materials for sole and scree protection can easily be coordinated with one another in such a way that bonding is in any case durable. On the other hand, adhesion of the rubble protection to the upper material is often not possible since the choice of material for the upper material generally depends entirely on the other requirements for the outer material. In this respect, there is a stitching of the rubble protection with the upper material. It has been found that problems occur in the area of sewing between the upper material and the debris protection, namely damage to the seams and consequent opening of the connection. This is completely undesirable for shoes in hard use. On the contrary, it is a core requirement for, for example, mountaineering shoes, work shoes and special cut protection shoes that they hold in all conditions and thus provide the required safety.
The invention has for its object to overcome the problems of the prior art and to provide for this purpose in particular an increased durability in the field of connection between debris protection and upper available. This object is achieved with the features of the independent claim.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are indicated in the dependent claims.
The invention is based on the generic shoe in that rivets are used along the edge of the rubble protection, which penetrate the rubble protection and the upper. The rivets are preferably used in addition to a suturing and / or bonding between scree protection and outer material. The connection provided by the rivets is extremely durable, and the presence of the rivets also protects the seams against externally applied friction on the seams so that they have a longer life. The rivets have so far a dual function. On the one hand they are a means of connection, on the other hand they protect the shoe from the outside. This comes into play particularly when the shoe is a cut protection shoe, ie a shoe intended to protect the foot of the wearer against the action of cutting tools, for example against a chain saw. If the chainsaw hits one or more rivets, which is not unlikely if the rivets are arranged properly, it bounces off the shoe and the shoe remains completely or almost undamaged. The foot of the wearer remains undamaged.
Usefully it can be provided that the edge is at least partially undulating and the rivets are arranged in wave crests of the wave-shaped edge. The upper material is thus exposed in the troughs, so that it is only overlapped by the protection of the scree as far as necessary. Has the upper functional features, such as Breathability, so they can act in the troughs unimpaired by the scree protection.
Comparable advantages are obtained in that the edge is at least partially sawtooth-shaped and the rivets are arranged in points of the sawtooth-shaped edge.
The invention is usefully further developed in that the debris protection is additionally at least partially sewn to the upper. In itself, it is conceivable that the rivet connection is the only connection between the upper and the scree protection. Furthermore, it is conceivable that in addition to the riveting another connection between debris protection and upper material is present, for example, a compression or a weld. As already mentioned, however, it is of particular advantage when sewing and riveting are combined, since the sewing can provide a continuous connection of the upper material with the rubble protection along its edge and the suturing is reliably protected by the rivets.
Of particular advantage may be that the scree protection is additionally at least partially bonded to the upper. The bonding also provides a continuous bond along the edge of the rubble protection to the upper material.
Besonders kommen hier spezielle Gummimischungen in Frage. The invention is further developed in a particularly useful way by providing, at least in sections, between rubble protection and outer material, a bonding layer which is at least partially adhesively bonded both to the outer material and to the rubble protection. Choosing the option of sticking between debris protection and the upper material can be problematic because the materials of the debris protection and the upper material can not or only badly be glued together. A connecting layer between rubble protection and outer material can help here. The choice of material can be made so that a bond with both the rubble protection and the upper material is possible. Especially here are special rubber compounds in question.
It is advantageous that at least sections of a lining layer is provided within the upper material. A lining offers additional protection against mechanical influences and against the effects of weather. It is particularly useful that a cut protection layer is provided at least in sections within the upper material. In a cut protection layer is a material with which the shoe is lined inside, which is not easily severable by a saw due to its fibrous nature of a saw. A chain saw is brought to a standstill by defibering the cut protection layer. Should a chainsaw so penetrate into the shoe despite the rivets, so the cut protection layer provides an undamaged carrier of the shoe.
It is useful that the rivets at least partially penetrate the debris protection of the upper and the lining layer. The rivets so several layers are held together, which gives the shoe special stability.
It is also possible that the rivets at least partially penetrate the rubble protection, the upper, the lining layer and the cut protection layer. According to other embodiments, however, the cut protection layer can also be arranged on the inside so that it is not penetrated by the rivets. At the same time it fulfills the function of protecting the foot against contact with the rivets in order to avoid pressure points. In this connection, it is also advantageous that the rivets have a substantially flat head inside. The flat head pushes, in contrast to a curved head, barely or not at all on the foot.
For this purpose, in contrast, it is advantageous that the rivets on the outside have a substantially arched head. An arched rivet in the outer area of the shoe provides a larger attack and defense area and a larger defense against striking sawing tool.
The invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings by way of particularly preferred embodiments.

Figure 1 shows a shoe according to the invention in a perspective side view. FIG. 2 shows a shoe according to the invention from the front. In the present case, the shoe 10 is a shoe 10 with a raised shaft, as is common, for example, in mountain boots, work shoes and, in particular, cut-resistant shoes. The shoe 10 has a profiled sole 12 made of rubber. The upper 14 of the shoe 10 is in the present example at least partially made of a textile. To the sole 12 includes a scree 16, which is glued to the sole 12. The debris protection 16 is also made of rubber in the present example. The provided by the boulder protection 16 available lateral reinforcement of the shoe 10 may completely circulate the shoe 10 or may be provided only partially. An edge 18 of the rubble protection 16 is partially wave-shaped or sawtooth-shaped. The debris guard 18 is connected to the upper by rivets 20. These rivets 20 are arranged in the wave crests 22 and the serrations 24 of the wave-shaped edge 18. In addition, the debris protection 16 can be sewn to the upper 14 and / or glued. The rivets 20 provide a reliable connection between the debris protection 16 and the upper 14. Furthermore, they provide a cut protection, because when a sawing tool hits a rivet 20, this bounces off with great probability, so that the foot of the wearer of the shoe 10 is protected and remains unhurt. Furthermore, the rivets 20 protect any intended sewn between rubble protection 16 and upper 14, so that the wear of seams reduced and the shoe 10 in the region of the connection between debris protection 16 and upper 14 is durable.
FIG. 3 shows a sectional view through a layer arrangement in the region of a rivet. A rivet 20 connects the external debris protection 16 with the upper 14. Between the debris 16 and the upper 14, a connecting layer 34 may be provided. Furthermore, a lining layer 26 and a cut protection layer 28 may be disposed within the upper 14. In the present exemplary embodiment, the rivet 20 penetrates the outer material 16, the connecting layer 34, the debris protection 14 and the lining layer 26. A cut protection layer 28 lying inside the lining layer 26 is not penetrated by the rivet 20 in the present exemplary embodiment. This is nevertheless possible. It is also conceivable that the feed layer 26 is not penetrated by the rivet 20. It can also be provided that the lining layer 26 and the cut protection layer 28 are interchanged in their arrangement. Again, it is then possible that both layers are not penetrated by the rivet 20 or only the outer layer or even both. The rivet 20 is internally provided with a flat head 30, so that as little pressure as possible is exerted on the foot of the wearer. On its outer side, the rivet 20 has a domed head 32 to provide the more engaging surface and mass with a view to protecting the outside of the shoe and for the purpose of cut protection.
The features of the invention disclosed in the foregoing description, in the drawings and in the claims may be essential to the realization of the invention both individually and in any combination.
