  • Spinner type toys that utilize magnetic repulsion & attraction are known for many years, some of which were granted patents protection: US4,531 ,923 (Lohr); 4,871 ,340 (Ross); 5,085,434 (Soto, II); 5, 1 35,425 (Andrews et al.) and others. In most of the spinner type toys they receive energy from small voltage batteries and are more complicated and expensive toys.
  • the spinner type toy of this invention differs from the foregoing patents and other prior art in that the toy is played with one hand and rotation of one magnetic spinner unit, activated the other spinner by magnetic induction.
  • the magnetic spinner toy of this invention utilizes two spinner units A & B, placed on a supporting base.

  • Unit B is the spinning unit comprising more than 2 elongated arms 90 and is attached to base 700 by pivot 200a in the middle of unit B, through opening 200 on support base as shown in fig. 2 part D.
  • Each unit (A & B) comprises a central body, a ball bearing 300/301 in the middle and arms 80/90.
  • Each arm 80/90 carries a magnet 400/500 on its far edge.
  • the magnets are an integral part of the arms as the units are made of one casting.
