Abstract

L'invention concerne une machine à souder par points par résistance électrique ayant une double pointe d'électrode composite. Selon l'invention, cette machine à souder, qui accomplit un soudage par points, comprend des baguettes de soudage par points encadrant une première plaque métallique et une seconde plaque métallique qui se chevauchent et comportent une électrode formée à une extrémité, en contact avec les plaques métalliques. La baguette de soudage par points comprend: une première baguette de support de soudage par points en forme de tige qui reçoit de l'énergie fournie par un premier module d'alimentation électrique; une seconde baguette de support de soudage par points en forme de tige qui reçoit de l'énergie fournie par un second module d'alimentation électrique, et loge la première baguette de support de soudage par points dont elle est espacée; une première pointe d'électrode couplée à une extrémité de la première baguette de support de soudage par points; et une seconde pointe d'électrode couplée à une extrémité de la seconde baguette de support de soudage par points et logeant la première électrode.
