Description
Mounting of Working Disk
Technical Field
The invention concerns the mounting of working disks, especially a vertically adjustable mounting of working earth-up disks in an agricultural machine for soil tillage.
State of the Art
The existing state of the art knows quite a number of agricultural soil cultivators. These cultivators also include machines with working disks.
Working disks are attached to the frame of the agricultural machine either firmly or in a collapsible way but their moving mechanisms are complicated taking too much space which is extremely disadvantageous in case the machines are designed as collapsible, i.e. able to be collapsed into transport position.
It is also known that working disks can be attached to the frame of the agricultural machine individually or in groups, so-called "sections".
The existing state of the art also knows such mountings of working disks that can be positioned. Such a mounting is, for example, known from the CZ12381 U utility design. Here, the working elements that come into contact with soil consist of a disk battery and a roller. The disk carrier is mounted to the arm by means of pins and the first regulating element and is adjustable in such a manner that the disk battery can be totally taken out of work while the shaft with the spring is (by means of the second regulating element) provided with a roller (the roller is also adjustable using pins). In this way, the shaft enables the roller to be taken out of work as well. The disadvantage of this design is its complexity.
Another utility design (CZ 30356 U) describes an agricultural soil cultivator with suspended disks containing multiple parallelogram-shaped mechanisms from which a whole series of working disks is suspended and the parallelogram-shaped mechanisms are, at the same time, connected with the machine frame. Each of the parallelogram-shaped mechanisms consists of two arms arranged one above the other and seated rotatably in the machine frame and, at the same time, both the arms are (rotatably one above the other) mounted in the connecting part from which
one working disk is suspended. The disadvantage is, again, complicated and high- priced structure.
Patent EP 1551213 describes a very simple spring-mounted design of the working disk in the frame of the agricultural machine but its disadvantage is the fact that it cannot be precisely vertically adjusted.
It is obvious from the above mentioned the Existing State of the Art that the main disadvantages of the designs known up to this day is the fact that vertically adjustable mountings of working disks are complicated and thus expensive.
The goal of this invention is to design a simple, cheap and easily vertically adjustable mounting of working disks of an agricultural machine.
Principle of the Invention
The aforementioned weaknesses are, to a large extent, eliminated and the goals of the invention accomplished by a mounting of the working disk, especially a vertically adjustable mounting of the working disk in an agricultural machine for soil tillage which contains a frame and where at least one working disk is rotatably mounted on a shank according to the invention the nature of which lies in the fact that the shank is attached to the machine frame in such a manner that it is vertically adjustable and that it leans against the beam with its first side and that it leans against a supporting element and securing element with its second side. The vertical position of the shank is ensured by a supporting screw seated in an arresting slot made on the first side of the shank. The advantage of this design is the fact that, when the machine is working, the shank is pushed against the supporting element thus eliminating any swinging of the working disk. The supporting screw advantageously ensures the height of the working element.
It is very advantageous, if the supporting element is roller-shaped as it makes vertical adjustment (using the shank) much easier.
It is further advantageous that one first side of the shank be provided with at least two arresting slots. This facilitates changing the vertical adjustment of the shank in a simple way.
To change the vertical adjustment of the shank in an easier way, it is advantageous if the shank is provided with a handle.
It is also very advantageous that the securing element is arranged in such a manner that it can be removed. The securing element advantageously holds the shank in the vertical position preventing it from possible swinging. After the securing element is removed, the shank can be tilted backward which facilitates changing the working height in a simple way.
It is also advantageous that the securing element is in the shape of a securing pin. The advantage is the simplicity of the design.
It is further advantageous that at least two working disks are arranged on the shank.
It is also advantageous that the supporting element, the securing element and the supporting screw are seated in the machine frame, preferably in at least one segment attached to the machine frame. The fact that this design is very simple to manufacture and that it is fully functional is its another advantage.
It is also advantageous that the shank is mounted between a pair of segments attached to the machine frame. In this way, the mounting of the shank is extremely stable.
One shank can also (as a variant of the design) be provided with a section consisting of at least two working discs.
Taking into account the service-life and stability of the shank being mounted on the beam, it is advantageous that the beam is provided with a supporting plate in the point of its contact with the shank.
The mounting of the working disk according to this invention facilitates a very stable and firm mounting of the shank which bears the working disks. The design of the mounting facilitates changing the working height in a very simple and quick way. Another advantage is the fact that operators can change the adjustment with ease using minimum exertion.
Overview of the Figures
The invention will be illuminated in more detail by means of the drawing where Fig. 1 shows a sectional side view of the mounting arrangement in the working disk's working position and where Fig. 2 shows a sectional side view of the mounting the moment when re-adjustment of the working height of the working disk is being made.
Examples of the Performance of the Invention
A vertically adjustable mounting (Fig. 1 , Fig. 2) of a pair of working earth-up disks 1 in an agricultural machine for soil tillage containing a machine frame 2. Both the working disks1 are rotatably mounted on the shank 3.
The shank 3 is (in a vertically adjustable way) attached to the machine frame 2 in such a manner that it leans against a beam 4 with first side 9 of the shank 3 and against a supporting element 5 and against a securing element 6 with its second side 10 of the shank 3 while being held in the required vertical position by a supporting screw 7 which is seated in an arresting slot 8 made on the first side 9 of the shank 3.
The supporting element 5 is in the form of a roller.
The first side 9 of the shank is provided with seven arresting slots 8.
In addition to that, the shank 3 is provided with a handle
The securing element (i.e. the securing pin) 6 is removable.
The supporting element 5, the securing element 6 and the supporting screw 7 are seated in a pair of segments 13 which are attached to the machine frame 2. The shank 3 is then seated between this pair of segments 13.
According to the variant not depicted here, a section consisting of a whole series of working disks1 is arranged on two shanks 3.
The beam 4 is provided with a supporting plate 12 in the point of its contact with the shank 3.
When changing the adjustment (Fig. 2) of the working height of the working earth-up disks 1 in the agricultural machine for soil tillage, the securing element 6 (i.e. the removable securing pin) should be pulled out first. This enables the operator to tilt the shank 3 backwards from the position where the supporting screw 7 is placed in its arresting slot 8. In the tilted position, it is easy for the operator to shift the shank 3 along the supporting element 5. All vertical and horizontal shifts can be made using the handle 11.. The change of the vertical adjustment is to be made by placing the supporting screw 7 in another arresting slot 8. In the end, the securing element 6 is inserted back. Thus the working disks 1 are ready for operation in the new vertical adjustment.
Industrial Application
The mounting of the working disk according to this invention can be used for adjustment of the working height of the working disks in an agricultural machine for soil tillage.
